The guy at the counter seemed impatient while i looked over the menu as i have never been here before. I told him ill just need a minute to look it over, he replied by saying nothing and continuing to stare. Talk about pressure. I loved the massive variety of soda in a glass bottle. I got a sandwich with a side salad. Loved the bread with the sandwich, it was stacked full making it a little messy to eat. Great, simple flavour. The salad was simple with large chopped veggies such as carots, cucumbers, bell peppers. Overall a great stop for lunch or dinner. read more

Great mom and pop hole in the wall kind of place. Food is great--everything we've ever ordered was tasty. It's not the most amazing burger in the world but it beats fast food, and at a similar price point. Also delicious are the deep fried sides (zucchini, mushrooms, pickles, etc), and they have an amazing selection of glass bottled sodas. One area of concern is the strip mall it's in needs renovation, the parking lot is too small/confusing, and Church's Chicken is awkwardly placed. I had the Cali Burger on the owners recommendation and it was GREAT! I didn't love the skinny fries, but the burger more than made up for it. Excellent soda selection, fast service and very filling. The place was full but didn't feel busy. read more

Honestly the best place to eat. I know I will die eventually because heart disease runs in my family but the chili dogs were so juicy with the red chili dripping off the sides. My wife is filing divorce papers this Tuesday so I decided to also get the old fashioned sodas. I really enjoyed rockets New york sub, it was like nothing i have tasted. The burgers are okay. The shakes are alright. I really enjoy the selection of beverages at this restaurant. The only thing i didnt really like was that the cheese curds were just too greasy. Other then that Rockets is where its at. Its nice for Moon Valley High School that this restaurant is right next door.Its just a bit pricey if youbuy for multiple people. read more

We decided to try this location after our favorite burger place was closed for the day. I had a chicken sandwich and my husband had a burger. The flavor of the sandwich was good, but I was disappointed that they didn't tell me it was a fried chicken breast. My husband didn't care for the size of the bun compared to the size of hte patty. AMAZING!! The burgers were perfectly cooked. We had the Cali Burger and the New Yorker. We shared half of each and neither one of us could decide which we liked better. Loved them both! Daughters had kids chicken fingers and they were actual chicken, not just mostly fried breading with little chicken. Girls also had milkshakes that were thick and full of flavor! Stopped in for a late lunch on a work day. Friendly place, they weren't busy so the service was pretty quick. Had a burger combo, really enjoyed the fries. Should have had a double on the burger though. If I'm in the area I'll eat there but I don't think it's going to be one of my "usuals". read more

I love this restaurant so much.....I'm from California and Austin Texas and whenever I'm in Phoenix it's a Must that I have to come here to eat. Great food and they have tons of soda's that I never even heard of before and it's hella cool trying those different drinks and the manager is a really nice person and great staff. I found out about this place one time I was in Phoenix with my friends we were looking for a good place to eat and I checked on my iPad for places to eat so I went on yelp and I found Rocket burger and subs and it got a good Rating so I told my friends for us to try it out and we all loved it so much....so if your visiting Phoenix You must come here to eat and taste all the different drinks.....wish they had a location is California and Texas read more

I can't believe I ate the whole burger! This place is a hidden gem. I have lived in the valley for over 15 years and have driven past this intersection many times. Have been wanting to try Rocket Burger for awhile now, and finally had my chance last night. Before even ordering, I picked out a bottled soda which took longer than the wait for my food. There are so many choices it was hard to decide! I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and fried pickles, which both were so good. The others' in my party ordered the teriyaki burger and a kids chicken tender bites. Both of which they enjoyed. Not to mention all this food, with 3 bottled sodas was only $23. So we got great food, with great service, for a great value. Will be back again very soon! read more

After reading such great reviews about Rocketburger I thought I was just about to have the best burger I've ever tasted! But after ordering the Cali burger with fries and a specialty root beer, I was mistaken. It wasn't a bad burger by all means, but for the price it was disappointment. ($10.33, for a single burger, fries, and root beer.) although when placing my order the staff was very polite and delivered my burger very fast! Not sure I would make another visit though. read more

Was not at all impressed with this place. I ordered the double cheese and fries...their burgers are not good at all. Very salty the sauce was the thing that ruined it. It had such a peculiar taste to it. The girl at the counter said it was thousand island..but it had a bad tangy taste to it, my bread was soggy from the pickles. I tried working my way around it took some stuff out got rid of the top bun and just couldn't finish it. The meat doesn't seem to be fresh either. They look like those round frozen patties yuck! Was pretty upset I was expecting an awesome burger :( read more

I went here with a buddy for lunch and was pretty satisfied with my experience. It's not fancy or much to look at, but they definitely focus on the food, and that's all one can ask for. The serving sizes here were gigantic. The pricing is fair, and the menu is varied. I came with a group of 10 and everyone liked their order. The service wasn't incredibly fast, but it was reasonable. The people there were also really nice, and the soda selection might be the most at any restaurant in the state of Arizona. I look forward to returning. read more
