I had a take out of the strawberry shortcake 12$. I like it but it was a bit too sweet to my Asian taste buds. I will try other flavours.

Very nice ambiance at this cafe spot. Good selection of different pies and cakes. The mains for lunch are reasonable portions but the true stars of this joint are their desserts. I would come back just for tea coffee and dessert more than lunch menu items.

We ordered 3 different slices of dessert: blueberry, Oreo, and birthday cake. We were excited for the pie slices, as we've heard that this is what they're known for. We were really underwhelmed. There was almost no crunch from the crust, and the filling felt like it was entirely just whipped cream. The birthday cake was our favorite, and even it was very sweet and tasted like one step above grocery store cake. For the price, not worth it.

You're never gonna be disappointed by their tarts! Im so happy that there's one near me now. It was a wednesday evening. I was expecting the place to be empty, but surprisingly it was pretty crowded. The staffs are friendly and made sure everything was to our likings. Friendly reminder: do not order one piece for yourself, you should share with 2-3 people.

Took a Boston creme pie to go! First time here, probably the best pie ever in my life. Cant wait until next visit for a different variety. All look amazing. [$27.95] Canadian dollars.

Omg Luuhhhvvvv their mochamisu and strawberry shortcake!!! The mochamisu is basically tiramisu but with a cheesecake twist. It's very close to where I live, so it is my go-to cake/dessert place. Not sure if the proximity is actually a good thing. Highly recommend this place to every person with a sweet tooth! 4 star because I am not a fan of their service. If I could I would give it 4.5 star.

We went to Rockaberry's for dessert after shopping at a close by store on the same street. I was visiting Montreal from Vancouver and hadn't been to a Rockaberry since I was a kid 20 years ago (at the Queen Mary location). It brought back good memories... We ordered a Rockabrownie and a Key Lime pie slice with coffee. Both pies were very good - the Rockabrownie is a chocoholic's dream and the Key Lime pie reminds is absolutely delicious. The service was great, but to be fair, we were there during off-hours so we were the one ones in the restaurant. The server was pleasant and friendly (although after her clearly recent smoke break she should have walked around for 10 minutes to lose the smell). Will be back!

It can get busy and the lines form out the door, but the pastries and coffee are worth it. We ordered the chocolate and pistachio filled croissants and donuts. I would rate both chocolate and pistachio filled croissants a 9/10 and the donut versions of each a 7/10. I felt the croissants tasted better and had more filling. We ordered the Remix which is authentic freddo expresso, cafe crema soft serve and topped off with hot frothed milk and chocolate. This was a 10/10 and was every bit of amazing as it looks in the picture. Service was fast and friendly. One note, they don't have flavored coffees, so I couldn't order a caramel latte, for example. Overall, great coffee shop that we enjoyed every day during our stay.

We ordered a hot chocolate, cappuccino, tiramisu, and an affogato, and every single item exceeded expectations. The hot chocolate was rich, smooth, and indulgent without being overly sweet -- pure comfort in a cup. The cappuccino was perfectly brewed with bold espresso flavor and beautifully textured milk, exactly how a great Italian-style coffee should be. The highlight of our visit, without question, was the affogato. It was hands down the best I've ever had. The pistachio gelato was unbelievably creamy, nutty, and flavorful, and when paired with the hot espresso, it created an unforgettable balance of temperature and taste. It was truly out of this world and worth the visit on its own. To finish, the tiramisu was light, perfectly layered, and not overpowering -- a flawless end to an already incredible experience. Everything tasted fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and authentic. Café Olimpico isn't just a café -- it's an experience. Exceptional quality, consistency, and passion in every cup and dessert. Highly recommended, and absolutely a place we'll keep coming back to.

My husband and I went to Cafe et Crepe for breakfast on our latest trip to Montreal. I got the roast beef crepe ($15.95) which comes with roast beef, bell peppers, cheese, spinach and usually onions, but I asked them to omit it. My husband got the turkey, cheese and egg crepe ($15.95). All savoury crepes come with a side salad. I asked for the dressing on the side and was told that's not possible because the salads are pre-dressed. Bummer because I find pre-dressed salads over-dressed for my tastes and double bummer because the dressing contained poppy seeds, which I can't eat :( Food was not wasted though, my husband ate my salad, lol. The crepes are regular wheat crepes not the buckwheat Breton-style crepes. They were tasty though and I liked that they were not stingy with the fillings. The peppers in my crepe were nicely al dente and were plentiful. The roast beef was deli meat, but there was a good amount. I had a taste of my husband's crepe and it was good too. The turkey was also deli meat. The salad had kale, carrots, red cabbage and corn kernels. My husband thought it was ok. It was drenched in dressing. Service was satisfactory. The ambiance is very casual. There's a television streaming sports. It's in an aged building that it shared with other businesses such as a spinning or was it Pilates (?) studio. The washrooms are up a flight of creepy stairs in the building (you have to exit the back of the restaurant). The place seemed to be popular with tourists. We sat at the front away from the crowds, but the back was full. They also have outdoor seating if you prefer to dine Al fresco. Street parking only, which I imagine would be a pain to find. We were carless on our trip so just walked there. (114)

It's really hard to mess up a crepe because usually the stars are the ingredients inside of the crepe. The cafe in itself doesn't look like much, but it was full of people, and they make a very good crepe here. I ordered something you don't normally see in menus, and that's a mochaccino. Whatever chocolate they use it is fantastic, really good quality. I'm thinking about it in lamentation because I know that unless I make it myself, I probably wont stumble across one as good as that was. Then came the crepe. It had goat cheese, mozzarella, spinach, and egg. So massive that I was already full by the time I ate half of it. It came with this sauce or Dijon dressing that knocked my socks off good. Also tried the sweet crepe and that was amazing as well. What a delightful breakfast before a full day of activities in old Montreal! I'd highly recommend it.

What a little oasis in the city, loved my experience here!…read more I stumbled across this cafe while visiting and I could tell it looked like a popular local spot. There was a small line but the wait was short. I ordered a cappuccino and a BLT bagel sandwich. Both were really great. The cappuccino was one of the best ones I've had on my trip. The beans they picked were good, and the milk was steamed perfectly. The BLT bagel sandwich really caught me by surprise. I honestly wasn't expecting too much. They did such a good job balancing all the flavors and it didn't feel like a heavy sandwich like some BLT sandwiches can be. The general feel of the cafe is very cozy and comfortable. The window in the front let in amazing light, making the cafe such an inspirational spot (would be amazing to spend a day in there working). There were also plants everywhere and the greenery is such a nice touch. They even had fresh flowers on every table (so rare to find these days). The staff were super friendly. You ordered at the counter, get your number for the table, and the staff members would bring you your food. I was there in the morning and everyone had a smile on their face. The space seemed to uplift everyone's mood in there. I had such a great first time impression of this place and I will definitely be back the next time I'm in the area.
