I felt quite uncomfortable to eating/drinking my donuts and Oreo shake. I saw the employees hugging and petting their cat inside of the store and letting the cat walk on the tables. The donuts were pre-made when I bought them, so I don't know for sure if any of the employees washed their hands prior to making them. At the time of my visit, the woman making my shake didn't touch the cat, but she also didn't wash her hands when making my shake. So for all I know, she could have touched the cat all over prior to my visit without using proper hygiene to make my shake. Very unsanitary. I felt grossed out. read more

"Formerly a large, lumpy, pink rock" If nothing else that's gotta be worth at least one more uptick in the review score. A shop made to look like a large rock. Don and Mickey's shop has really cool specimens inside to go along with coffee & espresso & ice cream. For a hot Utah day (and there are plenty of those) it's hard to not beat a tasty ice cream treat. The staff was really friendly and knowledgeable about the area offering some cool Utah facts for us southern visitors. Fun nick knack offerings for souvenirs can be found here as well. Kind of in the middle of nowhere, but it makes for a nice break from a long drive ... stretch the legs .... grab a drink .... and get a chance to talk with some cool locals. Really would recommend this one if you find yourself in the area. read more

This cute little rock shop is a must see when we are in the area. They have the best price on rocks, jewelry, and fossils. The owners have a wealth of knowledge about the products and the area and are alway so friendly! Their coffee is simple, but delicious. They now also serve a selection of warm mini donuts. Such kind owners here! Wonderful people. I got the hot vanilla latte and it was delicious!! Also tried some of the mini donuts and they were delicious as well. I also bought some rings out of the case. These are quality rings, they did NOT turn my finger green and they are still in terrific shape. They also offer a variety of sizes for all fingers!! I love stopping here. Highly recommend stopping in, grabbing a coffee, and shopping for some souvenirs! read more

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I am from south Fl and finding a good espresso out here is hard, the coffee was AMAZING, AND THE SERVICE was absolutely delightful, Kerri (I think that's how I spell it lol) was so helpful and sweet, my twin and I looked at EVERY ring and she was so nice and helpful the entire time and had so much patience, she even showed us that some of the rings glow with a Uv light, they have beautiful crystal, jewelry, amazing coffee and donuts and just beautiful customer service, they both were so sweet. I had an amazing experience at this place we recently went on a road trip with the whole family and we hadn't been able to find a place for coffee since there's really isn't any coffee shops around the area. We loved the shop, the workers, the owner, and the coffee was amaaaazing. I definitely recommend the frozen coffee and cappuccino. Looking for souvenirs or simply want some coffee? From rocks of all different kinds to affordable turquoise jewelry along with a welcoming and friendly staff, this is the place. Saw this unique store on the way to Bryce Canyon and had to stop on the way back for an iced latte and found there was so much more inside. The best way to start your day! We walked in needing some coffee and ended up way happier than just a cup of coffee could do. They were so welcoming and helpful with huge smiles on their faces. This place was awesome! Went with my fiancée back in August on a short Utah trip. The owner, Don was a great conversation and the coffee was amazing. So many cool local rocks and crystals too, this is a must stop when out in the Zion area you won't regret it! We ended up sitting outside sipping on our coffees for a couple hours and it was the highlight of our trip. Can't wait to make it back out to this awesome shop! read more

This place is awesome! We drove past and I said whoa! I told my wife that we need to turn around (she said "are you serious!"). After hanging out for awhile I couldn't get her to stop taking pictures so we could finally leave. The owner is a real cool guy. Such a cute and quaint place! Friendly staff and seriously the best cappuccino we have had, rivals five star restaurants in big cities. Top notch coffee. Nice selection of beverages. Excellent place to stop. The owner was so friendly and fun to talk to. He knows his rocks and has great coffee too. My daughter were getting a little sleepy on our drive to Bryce so we stopped in here to get some coffee and look around. I was surprised by how good and fresh the drip coffee was. He even had almond milk for my daughter. Great little store, with drinks, snacks, souveniers, and lots of rocks! He even has a Flinstone car to pose in. Loved this little roadside stop. read more

We were looking for a quick snack and thanks to yelp and the big rock building we came across this stop. Its a giant rock - but inside to our surprise - it had more rocks! So many different stones and crystals for purchase. Also they are known for their espresso sundaes so I had to try it! Delicious! Perfect combo of bitter and sweet. My favorite stop on our trip so far! They have an amazing selection of rocks, crystals and fossils. I originally went in for a couple of fine specimens but I left with a box full, they have such great prices and quality! I was able to take my time and Mickey is a fantastic human and you should just stop by to meet him and grab a coffee, a genuinely nice person. This is the cutest shop around! We found some good rocks at fair prices and got a little snack for the road. The coffee was good and they have alternative milks. The donuts were even better! The best part however was the staff; everyone was nice and the owner was friendly as he told stories and gave advice as we headed into Zion. On our way to Bryce, we stopped here for some coffee. This is quite possibly the cutest coffee shop we've stumbled upon. A wonderful stop en route to Bryce Canyon. The Rock Stop is a unique, rock-shaped building with specimens inside as well as a host of raw stone outside. We were greeted by Callie, a sweet little Calico kitty, as we came in. The lattes were strong and delicious, with options for flavors and milk choices (dairy and non-dairy). They advertised an espresso sundae and affogato, which looked wonderful as well. I am a teacher and was looking for local rocks to show my class. I asked Don for suggestions and he took the time to show me a variety of fascinating rocks, telling me the stories of the pieces and their sourcing. Definitely ask about the moqui marbles and septarian! The Rock Stop also carries crackable geodes and other raw and tumbled stones, as well as a wide selection of jewelry. All of the staff were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We truly enjoyed our time at The Rock Stop and I highly recommend taking the time to explore! read more

Awesome little shop in Orderville. Friendly folks, and the espresso milkshake was one of the best I've ever had. Lots of different rock specimens to choose from, and a beautiful selection of jewelry as well. They also had a small section of books on rocks and the surrounding areas in Utah. We recently took a family vacation at Zion, this was our favorite little shop out of all the ones that we stopped by! I picked up some moss agate + quartz for my plants, I had an espresso milkshake, my man had a cappuccino, and soft serve for the kids. The prices here are fair and customer service was exceptional. Coffee in Utah isn't as great as we are used to, this place had the best coffee out of all the places we stopped by. If you are traveling through Utah, you'll notice some shops have employees wearing masks and others do not, it's kind of a hit or miss in regards to health safety. We were happy to see the shop owner wearing a mask here and washing his hands plenty. He was also incredibly sweet (not everyone is out here lol)! Theres also a very sweet & pretty kitty who hangs out on the patio, my kids loved her! I suggest making a stop here, checking out their great collection + ordering some ice cream or coffee and enjoying the beautiful view from the patio. The lack of professionalism from these two young women will be the reason I do not return to this establishment. The disrespect was not worth my coins.

The fruit filling was flavorful, the crust was flaky and perfectly baked, and the creamy Bumbleberry ice cream made a great pairing. We enjoyed every bite, and the incredible red-rock backdrop doesn't hurt either! Definitely a place we'll return to the next time we visit Zion.

The staff had just enough piercings and tattoos for me know they would love to talk to me about their record collections if I asked, and the whole place manages to feel both laid back and just upscale enough that you can justify ordering anything from a burger to what looked like a pretty respectable ribeye. I went with the Shroom, a portobello mushroom burger, and it was enjoyable. Tons of flavor, perfectly satisfying, and paired with one of the crispest side salads I've had in a while. Bonus points for the edamame. I will happily eat edamame in just about anything. Not with jello though. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meals, although we collectively demonstrated the adventurous spirit of a group that mostly ordered the Pub burger. So I can't claim we've fully explored the menu yet. This just gives me an excuse to come back. Service was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The only moment that caught me a little off guard was when the owner stopped by to let us know he had baseball cards for sale in one part of the restaurant, along with an upstairs gallery featuring local artwork. I felt like he might next open his coat to show me some watches. He's just down for the hustle I guess. The art ranged from "that's pretty nice" to "someone really, really loves painting Utah's red rocks." Most of it was priced well beyond what I was looking to take home, but honestly, I have to respect that they're giving local artists a place to showcase their work. So maybe I'm just being a little grumpy. Get off my lawn. By the way I'd be happy to eat here again

A group of us where on a motorcycle trip through the National Parks in the area. It was time for a break and "The Rock Stop" was randomly selected. Boy, did we luck out. Don and his wife were great hosts with fantastic information about the area and the gems in their store. They also had "Egg Creams". They are also called Italian Sodas and are a fountain drink. Stopped and got a breakfast burrito (huge) that was delicious. The mini donuts with a drizzle of maple frosting and lots of nuts called to me so we got them and some delicious coffee too.
