Lovely business! Only dessert spot open late in the town of Springdale during our stay here in January. Definitely a must try for their shakes after all the hiking and adventure in Zion national park! Great out door seating and even greater people who service you in ice cream and candy. read more

Super cute spot that has everything you could dream of to satisfy your sweet tooth! We came here for ice cream, but they have lots of chocolate candies, fudge and more! Their ice cream is pretty heavy, maybe more than I'm used too. I got a huckleberry flavor and moose tracks. The moose tracks flavor was different than what I have had previously, but the fudgey bites in it were AMAZING! The regular chocolate flavor was ok. Their scoops are also pretty huge. I wanted a small for my son but even the small was a LOT. It would be great if they had a kid size so we didn't waste any! The service was great, people were very friendly. I would stop back here again if we are in town! read more

Could not believe how cheap this little shop was for being homemade and right on the strip/ park entryway. I think we paid $5 for a medium sized ice cream, and that's nothing for a tourist town. We actually loved this place so much, we went twice in one day and even got a few chocolate treats from the case which were amazing. The staff was very nice, helpful and attentive. They have great grab and go candy/ snacks, and great coffee prices as well. Definitely support this small business! read more

Springdale Candy Company is such a cute and charming store! They offer gourmet chocolates, homemade ice cream, Russell's ice cream, and a huge selection of Jelly Belly candies. During our first visit, I mentioned to an employee that I was looking for English toffee, which they didn't have at the time, and we said we'd come back later for ice cream. When we returned that evening, he remembered me and asked if I was the one who had asked about English toffee--and incredibly, he had made some that very day! I was so excited and truly touched by the extra effort he made to meet my specific request. The employees are wonderful, friendly, and genuinely enjoy making people happy. We'll definitely make a point to stop in every time we visit Zion! read more

Cute little candy shop with ice cream, milkshakes and sundaes. They even have a nice selection of homemade chocolates and caramel apples. Staff were friendly and quick. It's a small store, so I can see it getting crowded during a busy weekend, but it's worth checking out. read more

After spending a few days in the city of Springdale with my parents and sister, the triple digit weather was beginning to feel unbearable. Thankfully, the Springdale Candy Company was a short walking distance away from our hotel. When I entered the shop, the line was almost out of the door. But, I appreciate how the employees ensured to keep the line moving quickly. I also noticed a glass case full of chocolates which were tempting, however, I was in the mood for an ice cold treat. After looking through the flavor options, I chose Moose Tracks. Since I am from northern California, it is rare to find an ice cream shop that serves moose track ice cream. So I am glad that I finally got to try the freshly made version. Meanwhile, my sister picked the Pralines 'N Cream. To my surprise, an order of a single scoop turned out to be a generous serving. Secondly, I loved the fudge and mini peanut butter cups that were mixed into the vanilla ice cream. On the other hand, my sister loved the combination of candied pecans and caramel in her ice cream. On a hot afternoon, this was the perfect frozen treat for my sister and I because it helped cool us off from the Utah heat. So, I highly recommend this place for those who want to satisfy their sweet tooth. read more

This cute little candy shop is located in Springdale, which is a small town right outside of Zion National Park. My friends and I decided to grab dinner in Springdale before heading back to Vegas. The dinner was rich and we needed a little something sweet before hitting the road. We walked around this tiny town and stumbled up this place and it had everything we were looking for. Some of us grabbed ice cream, some of us grabbed prepackaged candy, but I went for candy in the cases. I'm a sucker for toffee so I went for the English Toffee. Everything we had from the cases were delicious and made that drive back to Vegas ever so sweet. I would stop by again if in the area. read more

The tiny town of Springdale has a lot to offer, but you definitely don't want to miss this one. They have all your needs for a sweet treat to reward yourself after a day of hiking in Zion NP. This awesome candy store sells ice cream too! That's what drew us in. They serve a local creamery's ice cream too. Awesome! The candy they have is impressive. So many different kinds of Milka. The fact that they even have Milka is awesome enough by itself. There was a long line to order. Literally out the door. To be fair, the distance between the ice cream counter and the front door isn't too great. There are a couple of much-in-demand patio tables outside for you to enjoy your ice cream in relative peace. read more

This is a candy / chocolate shop that also offers ice cream. Great selection of chocolate covered treats and candies, really friendly staff! Let's talk ice cream: Moose Tracks is our favorite! The vegan chocolate was also a great option. Cookies and cream, you can't go wrong. There's this other flavor, called the Candy Bar (?) - best described like a Mars candy bar. That was good. Truly serving up some of the most delicious ice cream I have ever had! When looking at other reviews, someone mentioned there was a lemon cake flavor and I was SOLD! Went in to order and chatted with the owner and his son I believe - they were so nice and funny too! I got the lemon cake and huckleberry cheesecake mixed while my husband got two scoops of wild huckleberry. All I can say is WOW. If I wasn't so packed full of dinner, I probably would have grabbed another scoop, they had so many flavors I wanted to try. Took our cups and ate outside at a table by the door, mountains in the background and sun setting, it was delightful. read more

My sister and I were craving ice cream after dinner and noticed this small shop was the only place open. Many of the places in town closed pretty early. I got one scoop of the espresso chip and it was delicious! Can definitely taste enough of the espresso and there's a nice crisp/crunch too. The texture of the ice cream was good & didn't melt too fast. They also sell a bunch of different candy, chocolates, and even cool stickers! Every time we go hiking at Zion National Park this is a must stop before hitting the road back home. It's a smaller shop, but it has a verity of goodies. We specifically come for the ice cream. We stayed in Springdale for a week during our honeymoon, and one of our nightly rituals was to come to Springdale Candy Company for our post-hike treats. They have a great selection of candies, caramel apples, chocolates, sodas, sweets, and other fun creations. Some of my favorites were the pecan turtles, dark chocolate-covered Nutter Butters, and the dark chocolate-covered Biscoff caramel sandwiches. Their prices are also incredibly reasonable; they could charge twice the price and it would still be absolutely worth it! The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming -- on my wife's birthday, Kim even made her a custom Biscoff-coated caramel apple! We also tried the ice cream a couple of nights before we left, and wished we had done so earlier! They have a great variety of custom flavors (I got a scoop of Dave's chocolate green chile, which was an excellent sweet heat, and came back later for the "jolted cow", which was an excellent espresso mixed with brownie chunks); one scoop was just the right amount to enjoy while walking around town. Truly, this shop is a must-visit during any trip to Springdale. read more

Established in 2007.

The Springdale Candy Company was started by a local couple wanting to provide that old-fashion candy store to a new generation. In 2014, it was taken over by a couple of engineers who fell in love with the company, the area, and the people, all while on vacation. They made the decision to spend more time together and to spread happiness through a sugar rush.

Meet the Business Owner: Dave n Kim W.

Two former engineers from Ohio, Dave & Kim decided to spread the happiness that only sugar on the tongue can provide. They enjoy learning more about making confections and putting smiles on kids faces (old and young alike).

They are connected to the gift shop, so it was easy to buy some ice cream and eat it while browsing the gift shop.

It's a small shop but there is a small inside seating area along with a couple of outside tables. The staff are helpful as they have a daily menu of different specialty coffees so I wanted to be sure I understood my options. I chose the Pure Angels Bliss, which was white mocha with salted caramel. It was very flavorful. I also got an Asiago bagel, sliced, toasted, and buttered. It wasn't as good as I hoped but I saved half for an afternoon, mid-hike snack so it packed well. Another good, nearby option for coffee in Zion.

Also, while it looks like a lot of sauce on top, I thought it could've used more, as there isn't much beyond that top layer of the ribs. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The service speed is decent. There is a lively atmosphere thanks to the popularity of the restaurant. Overall, I think there is good reason for Oscar's Cafe to be as popular as it is, especially given the limited options near Zion, so as long as the wait isn't too long, it is worth stopping by.

For example, if you want to find a pack of hotdog for $3.xx ($5.xx+ in other store) or Arizona Ice Tea for $0.99 ($1.xx+ in other store), this is the store. Plus they have other items you didn't know you might need- extendable smore/hotdot rack for $5.xx! Or you might need more charcol or firewood, they got it all at very reasonable price! Sure, the cashiers we interacted with hated to be there (or at least their attitude said so) but hey, you are not going to married them right! So just grab, pay and go on with your adventure!
