We almost broke our necks riding by the Rock Stop in Orderville to catch a glimpse of the building. It looks like a big pile of mud. INCREDIBLE! So we pulled a U-turn to come back & check it out. I'm so glad we did. What a gem! Pun intended! This cute lil store has everything - crystals, earrings, bracelets, rings, figurines, sculptures, glassware, trinkets, donuts, fun-flavored lattes, goats, a resident kitty named Callie who will make you fall in love with her... The women running the shop were so kind. They fueled us up with coffee (delicious iced lattes - who knew?!) & answered all of our questions about gems, jewelry, ring sizes, Callie the cat, etc. & were so gracious. The prices were so reasonable, too. I purchased two gorgeous sterling silver rings with malachite stones in them for a whopping total of $50. My only regret is not having enough space to buy more trinkets. We were on motorcycles with very limited bag space. Would I come back? ABSOLUTELY. I'd build a road trip around visiting the Rock Stop again. What a fun place. I wish them the best of luck & prosperity! read more

Stopped by on a road trip to Zion picked up some coffees, breakfast sandwich and some gemstones! Cute little spot reasonably priced. A lot of beautiful gems to look at friendly staff. Quick service and clean bathroom. I had a cha latte. It was delicious. My daughter got an iced coffee. She loved it. We had a breakfast sandwich, bacon and cheese. It was very good. read more

This is definitely a contender for the coolest coffee shop ever. Inside/outside there are lots of rocks and shiny things for sale. They also carry coffee and fresh made mini donuts. I had an iced chai and mini donuts with lemon/coconut on them and my husband had an iced latte with maple donuts. I don't know that I can add much more than what others have said but I must say that there are just good, high-quality people working here. Extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Very nice lady working there who showed me a photo album of the previous iteration of the park, now a fun roadside stop. I highly suggest the Oreo milkshake. Delicious and nutritious. If just by driving past it alone doesn't get to you stop, at least do so for the milkshake! read more

Cute little shop we stopped at going to Zion. They sell rocks but they also sell coffee, donuts, milk shakes, drinks, ice cream and other snacks. They also have outdoor seating which was nice to sit and admire the beautiful views. We had an Oreo milk shake and it was so good! Definitely recommend They also have these mini donuts that at first I was like ehh but my sister in law bought some and they ended up tasting amazing! Stop here for a small break and some rocks. Stopped by for a delicious affogato and chocolate/vanilla swirl. Even on a 100 degree day, the ice cream is durably frozen so you have time to lap it up before it melts all over you. Their espresso machines are restaurant grade - a delightful surprise for an outfit in the middle of nowhere (Orderville, to be exact). Ladies behind the counter are very friendly and patient - you can get your ice cream and still shop the store before having to pay. Rock Stop doubles as a novelty and gem store with a lot of unique and interesting items I imagine would be heaven for a geology geek. Some trinkets are cheaper souvenirs while they have really nice and pricier rocks as well. If your traveling on 89 towards Bryce Canyon just be on the lookout for a structure that resembles a pinkish cream puff and take a little time to visit! read more

Our group came here to look at some rocks as souvenirs. I just thought this was a tourist trap with their rock shaped building. But I'm glad I was proven wrong. I walked in with defiance thinking "I'm not going to buy from a tourist trap" but I walked out a smiling customer and I can now safely say I'm an uncertified geologist. Don was extremely friendly and there was no sales pressure. He was happy to just chat with you...about everything and we loved that. He even offered us some ice cream with our purchase and we gladly accepted and you know what? It's some of the better soft serve ice cream I've ever had. This place is so perfect. Set in front of the Grand Staircase rocky background, the Rock Stop building in the shape of a pink rock and is decorated inside and out with dinosaur sculptures and pictures. It has the most wonderful collection of rocks, rocky collectibles, pretty stones, stickers, tshirts, jewelry, and more. And the best part? The COFFEE. They serve espresso through authentic Italian machines, delicious specialty drinks, and milkshakes (my family of 5 tried a variety, so we can attest to all of this). Okay, but the ACTUAL best part is the staff are such wonderful people to talk to, the kind of people who make friends with everyone. They also pointed us to a local breakfast place when we found out they only served a few donuts for food. This is such a cute and charming place, you must stop here! read more

The owner was so sweet - we showed up with a need for espresso about 30 minutes before he closed and he welcomed us in no problem! We stopped here on the drive up to Bryce Canyon National Park and was pleasantly surprised. I was immediately drawn to the mini donuts. A dozen for $5 and several flavors to choose from. I decided on the half chocolate-half vanilla iced ones. We also got some hot cocoa, a pumpkin spice latte and some rocks. For a little shop in the middle of no where, they have 6 different kinds of milks to choose from for the drinks! The workers are also SUPER friendly! read more

AWESOME EXPERIENCE!!! Very cute shop tucked away on Hwy 89 east of Zion National Park, on the way to Bryce Canyon. We stumbled upon this nugget while driving, noticing mountains of rare gems stacked in wheelbarrows along the side of the road along this coffee shop shaped like a huge Boulder. Upon entering, we were kindly greeted by the owner Don and his wife offering to have us try several of their coffees. First off, their coffee was delicious! No sugar was needed and a diverse array of soy and almond milk options were available in their fridge. Along the wall, big maps were posted with pins placed by folks visiting from all across the world. It was impressive to see how many visitors they get from across the globe. This place is cute, homey, cozy and genuinely solid for serving coffee and making you truly feel "at home." Plus, Don is the coolest barista and really makes an effort to greet you upon entering. He is enthusiastic about his shop and for good reason - moved from Las Vegas to start up this shop and experience the natural beauty of the surrounding Utah countryside. read more

So glad we stopped here at this rock shaped building. There was a large variety of rocks inside and out to purchase. We read on yelp about the good expresso therefore that was the main reason for our visit on the way to Bryce Nat'l Park. The owner Don was welcoming, friendly and interesting. I browsed the shop and happily found 2 pairs of great real butterfly earrings ....... and they were marked down, see pic. I liked my coffee but disappointed no tasty pastry to accompany it.
