Urban Vistro is a chef-driven food truck from Vitor Abreu. He runs Vitor's Bistro in West Harrison,…read moreIndiana, and also this food truck that I stumbled upon one day. The menu for the day was large, especially for a food truck, and featured tacos, quesadillas, burgers, grilled cheese, and sandwiches. I had the chicken tacos which featured braised chicken, roasted corn and tomato pico, and lime sour cream (2 tacos for $9). The tortillas were filled with plenty of chicken and toppings and the taste was great. We went back for hush puppies later in the day, and my daughter still talks about how good those were. I wouldn't hesitate to hit up this food truck in the future and will have to remember Vitor's Bistro if I'm ever out in West Harrison.

Just from a glance at the menu I knew I wanted to come back and try something. I think Urban Vistro is a fairly new addition to the Cincinnati food truck scene and it's a great one. It was a tough night for them with so many drunk people and lots of orders stacked up so it did take a while for my food to come out but it was definitely worth the wait. I ordered the Unforgettable French Toast and the Cincinnati Pig Dog. Due to the long wait I also walked off with a quesadilla that was offered up by the truck's owner. Everything was delicious. I really hope to see this truck around town again!

So I decided to google best Birria Tacos or Quesabirria near…read moreme one because it's Cinco de Mayo but also because I've wanted to try this specific type of taco with the dipping soup consomé for quiet some time and to my surprise Google brought up this food truck so I figured why not it's not far out of my way on the way home it was raining out so that wasn't the greatest idea but luckily I could set close in my car while it was being made then drove home to eat it.the service was great very friendly all smiles employee even with it being a nasty day out even apologized for it taking so long which I really didn't mind since food is better most of the time when it's not rushed.ambiance not much to say it's a food truck in not the prettiest area but the truck it self was nicely decorated and a detailed menu.now to the food the meat on these tacos was so tender not any overwhelming flavors maybe could have used a little more chesse but the extra runny but super tasty queso made up for that and the consomé wasn't as strong as I thought it would be but it was a nice touch not as heavy on the stomach a nice tasty balance overall will definitely be going back to try some more I will say that meal was SUPER filling and better then most actual Mexican restaurants I have tried.

I ordered 3 tacos for $3 each (al pastor, adobo, and chorizo) and they came with onion and cilantro on top, and cucumbers, limes, and both salsa verde and roja on the side. I love that they were double tortillas. They came out super quick and fresh! We also tried their $5 churros, which were light and fluffy and came with a chocolate sauce. I'll definitely come again when in the area!

The hostess was wonderful and our waiter - whose name was either Jack or John; I just couldn't keep that straight - was perfect, answering questions, checking on us several times, engaging in just the right level of friendly conversation. We chose to sit on the bar side and I liked the atmosphere very much. The other side was pretty crowded when we arrived on a weekday around 1 PM. Food came quickly and was fresh and delicious. Soup of the day was a sausage chicken gumbo so I had to try a cup of that. Chunky, hearty and full of homemade flavor. My husband had the single grilled pork chop with vegetable of the day plus mashed potatoes. The chop was big and plenty satisfying. Potatoes were house-mashed, just lumpy enough with bits of red skin and an amazing gravy. He was very impressed that the veggies, including the carrots, were cooked so nice and tender. I had the Avocado Chicken Club which was perfection. I took the cilantro mayo on the side so I could apply it at leisure, and I also enjoyed dipping my parmesan fries in it. This was also an ultra-satisfying portion, in fact I decided to polish off the fries and took about half the sandwich home which was super delicious that evening. The roll was so soft and fresh - everything was super fresh. Although we were beyond full, the homemade dessert menu was impossible to resist so we took home a piece of bread pudding, which was, unsurprisingly, excellent. Convenient parking lot in the rear, just note there's no rear entrance so it is a bit of a stroll to get to the front door. BaCall's is quite a ways from my home, boo hoo, but we try to get out and about a lot so if I'm anywhere in the vicinity be sure I'll stop again. Winner!
