I came in, saw the sign that said to seat yourself, so I picked one of the tables that did not have plates or remnants of trash on it and sat down. I was able to check some reviews, look at pictures and I was starting to get angry that no one had appeared. I loved this place years ago. Can you tell me how a Rambo roll from rouses or public's is 2 times the sized and half the price? On top of that we Uber Eats the food and my Sushi is HOT when I get it. Raw fish 80 degrees. The consistency of peach cobbler. I don't know how owns this place now but they need to either go back to the way it was or close the doors. I really had the intention on getting some sushi. After all Rock N Roll Sushi is a sushi restaurant. To be completely transparent I don't eat raw sushi. My sushi tastes are very elementary and cooked. I believe the first time I came here I had the spicy crawfish roll. My initial thought was to order the spicy crawfish roll and the egg rolls. Then the eel roll caught my attention. At some some point I thought for sure I was going with the shrimp tempura roll. Then I wandered off the classic menu and went to the starter menu. I was really digging the headbangers shrimp until a few seconds later. I decided to make a gut call for the stage divers. I wasn't exactly sure why because earlier in day I decided I had enough chicken for the day. I did keep my earlier egg roll inclination as well. As usual I ordered online. The wait time was about 20 minutes. I arrived to pick up my food. The restaurant wasn't packed but had a nice amount of patrons dining in. Since I made it to restaurant before approximate wait time I had couple of minutes before my pickup was ready. I was out of there in no time. When I returned home I was starving. I opened the plates and my food looked amazing. I tried the egg rolls first and they tasted like some of the best prepared egg rolls I had ever had. They were fried to perfection. They came with a chili sauce that was so good. The stage divers were next. I was absolutely blown away with the flavor of these chicken bites. They were so tender and seasoned well. The stage divers came with the same chili sauce that was paired with the egg rolls. A ginger flavored sauce also accompanied it. As stated before I loved the chili sauce. I didn't love it but it wasn't awful. I really loved the meal as a whole. If you're not totally into the sushi scene this place has some enjoyable options to choose from. Went to have lunch here with some friends and the sushi was ok. It was like grocery store sushi at best but the part I really disliked was the gnats that were flying around us the entire time we ate. When this place was open to the public before Covid 19, it was very good. We went there this evening for takeout at 8:30 to pick it up after ordering it at 7:30 and were told 45 min to an hour for Hibachi. $54.00 later after arriving home expecting what we were used to, NOPE SORRY. The rice was under cooked, the steak was rubber, one piece of broccoli. Filet Mignon more like a flip flop dipped in soy sauce. Totally unacceptable. If I could give this place a half star I would. The girl at the register was on her phone while we waited to pick up and pay for at least ten minutes talking to a friend not an order. read more

Tillman's Corner Rangeline location has terrible customer service and servers. The two servers last night on 12/2 were not very attentive to their customers and blamed everything on the kitchen staff. The kitchen staff was sending out great food. The food gets 5 stars but the service gets 1 star. Looked like grumpy mom and daughter server team. Not sure if the young server was even old or enough to drink much less make drinks behind the bar. We will not visit this location anymore as this was the second issue as far as customer service. read more

Recently went to this location as I had previously with hopes that the sushi improved this time. Unfortunately the portion sizes appeared to be getting smaller while the price of what you get increases. They also force you to tip on to go orders because staff must be underpaid if they have to force gratuity on customers now. I'm not saying that I would not have tipped but the fact that you are not given the option does not sit right with me. I will definitely not be returning to this location. Happy Sushi may cost more but the food taste way better than here and the portion sizes are fitting for what is charged. read more

Sweet Home Alabama Rolls was small asf and it didn't look fried at all the hibachi wasn't fried at all and the chicken tasted weird asf. How can you serve boiled rice and claim that it's fried sorry to say but black people know the difference between fried rice and boiled rice and what I just had was boiled rice with vegetables. The salad had chia seeds in it and I don't even know the reason for the damn shit but it threw it completely off and the salad dressing was also weird tasting. I usually don't leave negative reviews but this is a trend that I can not remain silent about anymore. My wife and I ordered take out from this location as we have done many times and when my total was given to me I thought to myself that it seemed high. I studied the bill while waiting the 9 minutes past the given time that my food was supposed to be ready and realized that not only was I charged 11% gratuity on my takeout order but I was also charged an additional 4.4% for using my card or for a "non-cash transaction." This might not matter to some people but it will keep me from returning. I was charged an additional 15.4% for mediocre sushi and subpar service. I won't be back and I really hope this trend in the "service industry" doesn't last long. read more
