I really enjoyed my food! I got the scallops entrée. The scallops come small i didn't like that but they tasted good! Would get that again! With rice. My husband got the fish entrée he did not like his noodles but I did so I switched my rice with him. And my friend got the steak and chicken entrée with rice she loved it! I also got the Taro bubble tea with the Boba in it. 10/10 so good! Service good! Ambiance great. Slow for a Thursday lunch. Highly recommend would definitely come back here! But much like that cray cray ex girlfriend, you ignore the obvious red flags and decide "I can fix her "? - Friends, you can't fix this place. The food was subpar at best. I'm still trying to figure out why I tipped 30%... When my food came, I was told I couldn't eat there. It's still 40 minutes from closing... The 12 year-old working behind the counter said she already cleaned all the tables. I'm like, I sure hope so!! restaurants should be clean!? Never again! I have went to this restaurant 4 or 5 times and the quality of the food was horrible each time- today was and will be my last visit! After picking up $57 dollars worth of food today, I went home and opened up dried out steak, over cooked shrimp and the only vegetables in 4 full size plates was onions and broccoli! *I paid for extra vegetables (carrots, broccoli, mushrooms, zucchini and onions). Some nursing school buddies and I came by for lunch before getting back to studying, and we all had our food in 10 minutes or less. Hibachi platters, side orders of noodles, egg rolls, wontons-- the works! I ordered the full order of hibachi shrimp and added a side of noodles and a drink, and my total was $12 and some change. Going to a hibachi restaurant for this meal and seeing the same old show would've cost me about $22-$25 easily. Drive thru always moves fast. Employees are friendly. Orders are always out incredibly fast and very rarely is something ever wrong. Today was no different. The Surf and Turf Hibachi plate is what I ordered. The steak was juicy and the shrimp was delicious. Their Yum Yum sauce is the cherry on top of a great meal, and there was an abundance of veggies. My boyfriend and I were passing through Alabama and came across this place! We're from California and aren't used to all of the southern comfort food and fast food restaurants down here and really wanted to try something different. This place definitely hit the spot. We shared the steak hibachi plate. The veggies in the dish were actually the best part and the rest of the plate wasn't terrible for Japanese fast food. We weren't a fan of their yum yum sauce or their egg roll but the steak was flavorful (maybe a little on the dry side). The plate with the eggroll and drink combo was more than enough for the two of us and we shared a miso soup since it was raining. If I was ever in the area again, I would order the steak plate again. I had been eating lunch here for some time now. And, the food is really good. About two weeks ago, they made an error, it happens, and they gave me the wrong order. By the time that I drove to work, it was no longer worth going back. I called the restaurant and asked if I could come back that night and get the right order. The lady that answered the phone said, "sure, no problem. Just show the receipt when you drive up to the drive-through window. So, I did just that. But, what happened next is enough to SHUT THE PLACE DOWN. The teenager at the window said that she was not aware that I had called and was the afternoon manager. She snatched my receipt from my hand and said, "Hold on, let me get to the owner. Ten minutes later as they line at the drive-through has circled the building, she comes back and says that no one recalls me calling and that they can't help me. So, basically, they called the long-standing customer a liar. I WILL NEVER GO BACK and I was spending $400- or more a month there.....I did notice a short little asian man who peeped around the corner as I drove off....What a cheapskate and liar. read more

This location just recently opened in Saraland. It shares a building with Cold Stone Creamery and Great American Cookie Company. The staff is very friendly and welcomes you when you walk in the door. The chalkboard menu behind the counter can be difficult to read at times, but there are printed menus available by the cash register. Everything looked very clean and well kept which was nice. The bathrooms were still in good shape. On to the food! My wife ordered the chicken hibachi with rice, and I ordered the steak and chicken hibachi with noodles. We also shared an order of the dumplings. Her meal had more flavor than mine did. My order did not taste bad by any means; it just wasn't anything special. This is a "fast-food" style hibachi with a relatively inexpensive menu, so I'm not going to knock them too much on that. The dumplings were very good, but their dipping sauce could use some work. All-in-all, I enjoyed my experience and will return to get my hibachi fix when I don't feel like driving in to Mobile. I'll update the review once they get some more time under their belt. read more

So I sat in the drive thru until I was refunded (- .50 cents) for the sauce.. the hair (which I left in my food) looked just like the ladies hair who was arguing with me(her hair was down and not braided back). The food is good. I've heard many people complaining about how long it takes to get your order. My argument to that is I wouldn't expect hibachi food to be ready as quickly as McDonalds food. They cook everything there as it's ordered. However, I will say good luck trying to read the menu. It looks like they gave a five year old a piece of chalk and told him to have fun. The clerks seemed clueless when I had questions about the menu. I mean basic questions. Like: "does the hibachi chicken come with a side?"(because it doesn't say on the menu).
