Re-Kindle Your Childhood! Great prices. Great service. Great location. Family owned. Big store…read moreretail space. Big mail order business. Lionel, MTH Mike's Train House, and K-Line are on the retail floor. Grzyboski's ALSO surprisingly carries Roger Farkash's custom Lionel train tables akaTW Trainworx. If that's sounding familiar it should, Roger has the kind and distinct honor of creating Bershire Hathaway train layout. They also make the custom billboard cows for Chik-Fil-A. The prices here are terrifically FAIR. The selection is GREAT. And it's a well appointed store. Bless them with your business in person or on-line. So glad we stopped in from Vermont on our way to Texas. Yee-Haw! GPS Coordinates: Latitude N 41 Degrees 20 Min. 53.29 seconds. I unfortunately had a negative experience after pulling into this store's parking lot due to…read moreunexpected car trouble. My check engine light came on while driving, so I safely pulled into this mostly empty lot to assess the situation. I contacted AAA for guidance, and while waiting for instructions, I began checking my tire pressure as advised. Shortly after, I was approached by a man I believe to be the owner. I explained that I was dealing with a possible vehicle issue and was currently on the phone with AAA to determine whether it was safe to continue driving. Despite this, I was told--firmly and without concern for the situation--that I needed to move my vehicle immediately. I tried to explain that I was actively trying to assess whether the car was safe to drive, but I was still pressed to leave. The interaction escalated, and I was told I was "entitled" and taking up space during their "busy season," even though I was the only car in a group of ten spots and a largely empty parking lot. At one point, I was told to either hand over my keys or pay $20, which was very surprising in the context of the situation. Once AAA confirmed it was safe to move the vehicle, I left the lot and went to a nearby public area to wait for further assistance. I understand that private parking lots are intended for customers, and I respect that policy. However, I was disappointed by the lack of understanding given the circumstances and the tone of the interaction during what was a stressful and uncertain situation.

Stopped in as part of a rowdy bachelor party weekend. We had made a reservation a couple weeks…read moreearlier. It was really necessary as it was pretty slow. The place is a stand alone building with a lot of space for any game you'd want to play. We stuck to the LAN cluster and Unreal Tournament for 3 hours. The selection of games was pretty meager, but that is a little our fault as we didn't tell before showing up what we'd like to play. They would have installed them. The rely on players to bring their games in to add to their repertoire. I'd definitely stop in again if I was in the area.

Adventure Games in Dickson City, PA is NOT a safe place to go to if you have mental health issues…read moreor support people who have them. This is a 1st hand account, and I am posting this to protect our community of gamers. Incident occurred December 2022 I belong to a Messenger group used by a person hosting a game there, but the group was not organized or associated with Adventure Games. On the orders of Heather, a manager of Adventure Games, a member was ordered to post about mental health issues of a person who frequents the store. They did not have the permission of the group founder or the person with the issues. When confronted about how inappropriate their claim "we don't have the full story and have had problems with the person in the past". It was pointed out that they were not providing the full story but only what was needed to post the worst picture. They stand by their decision. We do not know how many other people Adventure Games may have spread word to, but that is exactly why I encourage anyone who cares about others struggling mental illness to avoid this place and spend your money elsewhere. Any place of business who talks about a person's mental health without the person's knowledge or permission is a clear danger to the community.

So…read moreafter all the clamps and restraints were painfully put in place, I decided to Give Up, grab a cart, and give this store a look see. And what do you know, Yup, it's a craft store alright, juust like I thought it would be. And juust like it says on the 40 foot sign on the front of the building.    Aaaand let's see what's down Every isle why don't we. sure, great. How many glue guns does one person need? "what? nothing, nevermind" wow alot of fake flowers up in here too. And what is this thing for? "Put it in the cart already!" of course. "This place is Freakin HUGE, are you sure we can't just skip a few isles?" "NO!" [of course not I said while testing my restraints]    And then it happened. I got it, "it's all clearly right in front of me like a thousand inspirational signs which were obviously made just for yours truly. This store is actually speaking to me through it's merchandise.  W O A H ! !"   Ok, you win. You broke me. I Like This Store Now. Okay, there I said it. Can we go now? Come And Get Your Shopping On!! The negative: Every manager and/or assistant manager we have encountered here for over many years has been rude in their interactions with us. Answers to our queries are short and without a smile or pleasant comments. They've also not acknowledged us as customers if the associate has a question regarding our items at checkout. Very surprising that a Christian company would consistently employ miserable people in the managerial position. What kind of an example are they to the public of a joyful follower of Christ? And if they aren't a Christian, perhaps Hobby Lobby should be reconsidering who they hire to represent their company.
