My son searched for a train store while we were in the area and found this. This place was one of…read morethe most organized train shops I have seen. He bought a used Lionel transformer and an HO Doodlebug Trolley labeled as DNW (Does Not Work). As it turns out the gears had old grease on it that I was able to clean up. He now has a working transformer and trolley. All for $20 so a super great deal from a very friendly staff. Thank you for making a child continue to love trains.

I ordered an MTH Great Northern Stock Car SKU: 20-94520. The photo shows and orange and green…read morecolored car (See photo 1), a color combination my wife and I both liked. I received the car, but it was orange and black. The road number,55329, did not match the road number on the car from his web page, 55327. (See photo 2.) I asked for a recommended resolution and was told that the web page picture can be inaccurate because the "The color of this particular car is the only way MTH produced it. Unfortunately colors can change from original computer images used in the catalogs and manufacturer's websites." And "The number is not mentioned because we go by the Sku# when selling the car unless you specify a certain RD# you are after. " So, the bottom line is that it's MTH's fault for the wrong picture and it's my fault for not specifying the road number that is pictured on his web page. I followed up with an email asking for him to refund $59.90 to my credit card. After a couple emails I called Joe Grzyboski (I guess the owner?) at his suggestion. He repeated what he said in the emails but finally agreed to "put this behind" him and provide a refund. I requested a prepaid mailing label and he provided that. When I received the refund notice from PayPal, it was for $45, not $59.90. (Just today I emailed Mr. Grzyboski about why the amount was less than the $59.90. (It's even less that the web page price of $49.95.) I also notice that Mr. Grzyboski's web page has now been corrected to show the black and orange car (See photo 5.) At least I can feel good about others seeing what they will actually get. I understand that Mr. Grzyboski is in business to make money. You should understand that if you have a problem with an order from GrzyboskiTrains.com, that you may not get the resolution you believe you deserve.

Adventure Games in Dickson City, PA is NOT a safe place to go to if you have mental health issues…read moreor support people who have them. This is a 1st hand account, and I am posting this to protect our community of gamers. Incident occurred December 2022 I belong to a Messenger group used by a person hosting a game there, but the group was not organized or associated with Adventure Games. On the orders of Heather, a manager of Adventure Games, a member was ordered to post about mental health issues of a person who frequents the store. They did not have the permission of the group founder or the person with the issues. When confronted about how inappropriate their claim "we don't have the full story and have had problems with the person in the past". It was pointed out that they were not providing the full story but only what was needed to post the worst picture. They stand by their decision. We do not know how many other people Adventure Games may have spread word to, but that is exactly why I encourage anyone who cares about others struggling mental illness to avoid this place and spend your money elsewhere. Any place of business who talks about a person's mental health without the person's knowledge or permission is a clear danger to the community.

The bearded young man came up…read moreto me and said "excuse me Sir but you need to cover that up" pointing to my empy plastic gun holster on my belt. I asked an empty holster is an issue? He said it might "offend sensitive fellow customers" in the store. A store full of young men playing pretend war games like Warhammer offended by an actual "war" accessory sans weapon. The signs in Dickson city say we honor our veterans but may I say this service connected disabled veteran of Enduring Freedom and 14 years of service in the USAF and USAFR doesn't feel "honored" in Dickson City. On the contrary being corrected on how to appear in a store by someone 4 decades my junior might be construed to be the opposite of what the flags all over Dickson City and in front of your store claim. In gamer turns from one old nerd to another. EPIC FAIl!( Store rates zero stars for customer service about 4 stars for miniature selection)

The negative: Every manager and/or assistant manager we have encountered here for over many years has been rude in their interactions with us. Answers to our queries are short and without a smile or pleasant comments. They've also not acknowledged us as customers if the associate has a question regarding our items at checkout. Very surprising that a Christian company would consistently employ miserable people in the managerial position. What kind of an example are they to the public of a joyful follower of Christ? And if they aren't a Christian, perhaps Hobby Lobby should be reconsidering who they hire to represent their company.
