Once again, Roca Lock and Key came thru, when everyone else told me they either can't, or won't. I had a small lockout job I needed done, but on a 25year old barrel type key lock. Carlos, The head-technician told me the lock could not be picked, and offered to cut it off for a very responsible price, when absolutely No One else would even do it when I requested it. Thanks again for your help Carlos! read more

Super nice people. Very honest. We had some special old keys they were able to rekey. Beautiful setting. No one would have known it was a key shop. Prices were definitely better than those auto stand alone kiosk at the market. Again super nice people. Total 5 stars! read more

I had some pretty immediate needs and then an angel named Mayra landed to help. Her customer service was top notch. Her response time was amazing. Her dedication to solving my "under the door" problem was super impressive. Rica has more than fair pricing and I do believe I have found my new locksmith vendor who was also able to recommend a few good area places to eat. Thanks for everything. Pro Tip: My map application landed me in the back alley. Just drive around to the front if this happens to you. read more

Overall very kind and good people the building was a little hard to find but that's because it's brand new and they're still finishing up some stuff I was supposed to go back to get my keyfob fixed but I haven't done that yet but I know that whenever I need keys or have any lock issues I'm coming here read more

Roca Lock & Key - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me - Los Angeles, California

I lost all of my keys when I was putting on snow chains somewhere in the so-cal mountains and needed a new transponder key made for a Honda. This is a shop some dealerships bring their cars to and they charge half the price and do a damn good job. It's a family owned place and they rarely take any days off. It's in a pretty small shop on the corner of Whittier Blvd and Gerhart ave and if you need a transponder key made and don't want to pay a ridiculous amount, stop by and... They are the best! We have been making all of our keys here. The staff there are definitely friendly and sweet. My keys were made very fast. Not to mention the cool gun looking key I just purchased! If you are looking for a quick, and honest place to make your keys, this is the place! read more

So glad to have cool locksmith in neighborhood. They had quick great service and really helpful with questions.

Came on time and was fast and efficient and unlocking my car. Prices are fair when compared to others

Roca Lock & Key provided exceptional service when I called for a repair at my home. Myrna handled the call with much professionalism and Eric came out and made the repair all in the same day for a fair price. Other places I called charge a fee to come out in addition to the work needed which can be a bit pricey. Overall, great experience!! I'm very impressed by Eric and the professional manner in which he represented himself and the Co. I've used Roca's services 3 times, and have been completely satisfied each time. I highly recommend if ever in need of a locksmith. read more

Great timing and straight to the point. I requested a motorcycle key service because I had lost my only key. A Latino gentleman, one of their best I should say, came and got to work as quickly as possible. It was hot outside, but he got it done in less than 30 minutes. I should also add that the dispatcher that kept me informed about the timing, and price was very straight forward and reliable. read more

Very friendly customer service that didnt beat around the bush and took care of my needs within an hour and no appointment. This is a family run business and for a keyfob programming, the best price I found within 20 miles. Just go here. read more

Boyfriend urgently needed a duplicate transponder key for his Toyota Camry 2007, which is scheduled for transport to another state in two days. We stumbled upon this gem on Yelp! and, convinced by the reviews, decided to give Roca a call. We were greeted by Carlos, who not only accommodated our urgency by opening his shop to us on Sunday, a regularly closed business day, but also by giving us the lowest quote (up to 40% lower) compared to the 4-5 other shops we contacted. When we arrived, we were invited into the shop and seated in well-lit, air-conditioned room with the staff while Carlos did his magic. We had the dupe within 15 minutes. I cannot recommend Roca enough. Carlos and his staff were so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful and made the entire process a breeze. Will be back soon to duplicate my own smart key! Thanks, Carlos and team. You guys saved the day! read more

I called in on a Sunday, unaware that they're closed, and the guy who happened to be there doing inventory picked up and said he'd be able to help me even though they're closed. He was extremely nice and helpful and had my keys copied very fast. The keys work great unlike many bad key experiences I've had at Home Depot. If anyone is looking for a quick, honest and helpful place to copy your keys, this is the place! read more

Great honest work and professionalism. Had an issue with my door lock on my car. Roca not only unjammed my car door but took the time and explained to me what steps they took and some options on fixing and repair. All the positive reviews are no joke and if i have any problems or issues they'll definitely explain it and provide you with affordable options. If i have any lock problems in the future ill definitely know who to consult and work with in the future. read more

I went to get a double sided key copied and I was quoted $2.75+tax ( I sent a text picture message of my key) and when I got to the store they wanted to charge me $4.50+tax. There seems to be miscommunication amongst the workers. read more

I have to agree with Kevin P. in regards to the transponder key. I lost my car key at school once and I didn't have a spare. I was initially nervous about the price tag because newer car keys aren't as easy to duplicate as older keys due to newer technology. Who came to the rescue? Roca Lock & Key. They were able to help me out and the price tag wasn't as steep as other places. In addition, my old workplace needed new locks and keys for doors and Roca came through yet again. I would definitely recommend them. read more

So this is my first review on Yelp and man is it well deserved!!!! so i have an S-type jag & i lost my only key, the car was at my house but after a week i gave up looking . Called Jaguar dealer & they wanted 550$ TO MAKE ME ONE KEY :o i then precede to call 4 other locksmith & all said they couldn't do it? jags i guess are like a mythical rubix cube to them? wtf~ Then i went to Roca & Merna, i hope that's how she spells her name(very pretty too) said sure they could probably do it & the technician would call me back by the end of the day. I had pre ordered two keys from eBay and gave them to them & the next day my keys were done , programmed & cut by Carlos(technician) BAM just like that i had two keys for 225$ MAN I CANT THANK THESE PEOPLE ENOUGH, gonna get every key i need made from now on done here !!!!! :) read more

Awful service..I needed the battery to b changed on my car key..I left it to them for over a week..it is unbelievable that when I went at the end of the week for my key..the battery had not been changed..seriously..I asked for my money back and I am truly disgusted with the service of this place..plus the staff was incompetent beyond belief... read more

The lady who answered the phone was courteous and helpful. $40 to program a car remote was reasonable.

I've used Roca for over 10 years now both for my home and business. I highly recommend them. They are very courteous and do their best to work around your schedule. They also have a 24 hour service so that helps. I recently had an issue at my place of business that needed to be corrected immediately. I called Roca, gave them my budget and they customized a solution to fit my needs. For this (and many other experiences) I highly recommend them! read more

This is by far the best experience I've had with getting a spare key. Usually, the dealer will charge a ridiculous amount to get a spare. I have a 2012 Honda Fit which has a generally more expensive transponder key. I was able to order a blank fob online and get it cut and programed here for $60. If I had added on the key fob, it would have been $120 for key, cut, and programing. They also offered keys without remote capabilities for $65. The cut and programing was so reasonable that I ended up getting another key for $25 which would only open the car door not turn it on. My problem was usually that I locked my keys in the car so this was perfect. Their customer service is also amazing. Merna was great over the phone and straightforward in giving me quotes. Plus, they're across from a strip mall with a Target and Kmart so waiting for my keys was painless. read more

Roca is a professional and honest company! My father used to go here when I was a child and I've kept the tradition going. I have used Roca for so many services from basic key making, locksmith services, car key duplicates, and even door installations. They are always fare and honest which is important to me as a consumer. They have been in the industry for decades which is a testament to their knowledge and professionalism. From the customer service in the office to the techs in the field they seem to take pride in perfecting their craft and have always been very open to feedback! I highly recommend Roca to anyone in need of locksmith and related services. read more

Well Let Me Start Off By Saying How Amazed I Am At Myrna's Customer Service. She's The One That Assisted Me When I Placed The Call At Roca's. I Called In Because I Broke My Car Key, Lost The Sensor In The Key, And Wasn't Able To Turn On My Vehicle. I Knew The Place Was Legit Right Off The Bat When They Asked Me To E-Mail Them My Registration And DL Just To Make Sure I Was The Owner. So She Guided Me Step By Step And Made Sure That I Was Informed About The Deals, Price Range, Days It Would Take To Get It Done. I Got An Affordable Key Two Days Later And I Couldn't Be Happier I Honestly Do Recommend Coming In If You're Ever In Need Of A Key Job. And Thank You Myrna For All Your Help We Need More Workers Like You! read more

Highly recommend getting help from these guys. I went to Montebello mall and locked my keys in my car. I called Roca locksmith. They didn't beat around the bush like all the rest of the tow trucking companies I called. I told them I had a VW Passat and they gave me a flat rate that was 50% cheaper. Christian came out to help me in about an hour. It was Friday and around traffic time so I totally understood and was okay with the wait time. Super happy with them! read more

I do apartment maintenance for a 94 unit all senior's facility, and I have been getting our lock and key services with this great team for about four years now, and I have never been, so blown away on how amazing their customer service is.
