Robowok Mini Bowls near USC is a popular, affordable Chinese restaurant known for its robot cooked, customizable bowls, offering a variety of stir-fries, noodles, and other dishes at budget-friendly prices for students. This is an eco friendly, and serves lunch and dinner with options like chow mein, orange chicken, and various proteins and vegetables, all cooked by automated woks for consistent flavor.

Such a cool spot! The robot chef actually cooks your food right in front of you -- super fun to watch and surprisingly fast. Everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. I got the chow mein, green beans with pork, and kung pao chicken -- all so good! The place is super clean and modern, with a chill vibe. Perfect for a quick lunch that still feels special. Definitely coming back -- love the mix of tech and tasty food!

First time at Robowok! Food was amazing and good for the price! No line so service was quick and there are plenty of seats to sit down at tables with friends. Workers were very friendly and the place is well lit.

I got rice and two sides and it was $12 total. The orange peel chicken and eggplant + green bean stir fry hit harder than other chinese spots in the area around USC. The robot put its foot in this food! LMAO

Food is good but I wish the food was actually hot and what I mean by that is that it's warm almost cold Btw boba is not from here

I had a great experience at this RoboWok restaurant near USC. The robot cooking process is fun to watch and surprisingly efficient, and the food comes out hot, fresh, and well-seasoned every time. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable for the area, and service is fast--perfect for students. It's a unique mix of technology and comfort food that I'd definitely come back for.

Really good food that outcompetes many other options inside USC campus (basically my new canteen now). Staff are really friendly and helpful with guidance in ordering. The whole restaurants is well maintained, love the lights!

I'm genuinely disappointed to write this review because I was really excited for Robowok to open, I'm in the area often and loved their food during the grand opening. The flavors were great, and it quickly became a spot I wanted to keep supporting. Unfortunately, during my most recent visit, I found a wing bolt/screw in my food. Thankfully it was large enough for me to see before taking a bite, but it left me deeply concerned about how it ended up on my plate in the first place and how the staff didn't notice. When I asked for a manager, the staff seemed unsure of who that was or what steps to take next. They eventually apologized and offered me three free side dishes, which I appreciated, but honestly, I can't bring myself to return. It's hard to trust the kitchen after something like that. I really hope management takes this seriously, because this place has potential, but food safety and communication need major improvement. Guess they really are living up to their name... Robo-wok.

We had two orders of slippery shrimp, kung pao chicken, eggplants with hot and spicy garlic sauce, juicy steamed dumplings, and pork fried rice. Overall, both restaurants in Chinatown and Pasadena provide great food quality. The ambience was cozy with dim lighting. Our round table had a wooden rotating tray. They have pictures of celebrities and politicians who've visited their restaurant. Service was relatively quick, but there was a 20-minute wait for the dumplings. Valet parking can get difficult when the lot gets full. A few cars entering the narrow driveway had to reverse out of the way to let others leave. The kung pao chicken was very tasty with a good amount of spice. I noticed that the slippery shrimp didn't taste as spicy as the portion from Pasadena. Reviews say that the spice is adjustable. Regardless. it tasted great as it came right off the pan. The pork fried rice was delicious with a savory flavor that didn't seem overpowering. I thought the juicy steamed dumplings were the weakest dish out of our whole order. There wasn't enough flavor and heat from the broth. I didn't try much of the eggplants, but they tasted adequate for me.

Their pork shumai was delicious, xiao long bao's soup dumplings were flavorful. Delicious. I definitely need a second trip here to try their soups and more of their variety of dumplings.

The restaurant workers looked more organized vs this location that has more of a traditional Chinese vibe, slightly tired building, not particularly clean, service feels a bit rushed and sloppy.
