The fish tacos were freshly fried and delicious they provided salsa bottles and I really enjoyed the green sauce. The rice was seasoned well and perfectly cooked. The beans however I didn't try since we saw a bug in it. We told our server about it but not sure if she understood us completely since there was a language barrier and we just wanted to inform her but she came back with a new side order of beans. The drinks did take a little while to come out, and one thing I noticed was since everyone was ordering food at different times, the food kind of came out little by little. We were there for about 2 hours just eating and drinking. Now the food... it was honestly SO good! I just wish the portions were a little bigger for how much everything costs. It has watermelon, hibiscus, basil, and citrus, and I really liked it. I also tried the Pool Boy, which has gin, watermelon liqueur, cucumber, basil, and citrus. That one was really good too! The restaurant itself is super cute inside! The only other thing I'd mention is that when we were leaving, there were a lot of people hanging around the bar, so it was a little hard to get to the bathrooms. Not a huge deal, just something I noticed. Also, if you're going with a bigger group, just know they automatically add 18% gratuity to every tab. I totally understand why they do it, but with the menu already being pretty expensive, it definitely makes your bill go up fast. Overall, I really did like Saizon! The food and drinks were delicious, and it's a really cute place. I think next time I'd go for a date night or with a smaller group instead of a big party. Just be prepared that it's a little pricey for the portion sizes, and if you're with a large group, don't forget about that automatic 18% gratuity.
