When I asked if animals were allowed, I was told they were not, but that this dog was a service animal. I understand and respect the need for legitimate service animals; however, this particular situation made me uncomfortable, as the dog was sitting in a stroller and did not appear to be actively assisting anyone. What really bothered me was the inconsistency. The two customers seated next to us (who happened to be white) complained about something and the manager personally came over to apologize. We complained and got nothing -- no apology, no acknowledgment, nothing. It was hard not to notice the difference in how we were treated. Won't be coming back, and I'd encourage anyone reading this to think twice before going.
