I'm delighted to report the Lodi Robinson's has completely redeemed themselves in my book. Last time I went in and the wonderful, tall, graying lady was behind the counter, warm and welcoming as always. Today I went in for two things, and the more petite, auburn haired, middle aged women was, as always, very helpful, as was the tall graying gentleman who gave me some great advice on questions I had about agility equipment. Even the young person behind the counter was polite. It was "business as usual" with exceptional customer service and I, for one, appreciate it. I grew up on a farm out in the country and I've LOVED this store from the moment I set foot in it (it reminds me of the feed store we used when I grew up), so I was really surprised / disappointed when my customer experience was negative during *several* back-to-back visits! I'll do everything I possibly can to support a LOCAL business whenever possible, even if it means driving a little further or paying a little more. My last two transactions with Lodi Robinson's completely redeems them, and, if it stays the same, I look forward to many years of continued excellent customer service from them. read more

Staff did not greet. Very rude and the lady and gentlemen behind the counter did not ask if we needed help or said hi.... Nothing except a blank mean stare the entire time. watched the entire time as if we were trying to steal. If they had been friendly and not so stuck up and uninviting I probably would've spent some money but ended up leaving. Needless to say I didn't spend any of my money there. They have a decent selection of items. Value is okay compared to other feed stores. read more

Robinsons Feed has a great selection, and I already plan to come back for some of the sale items. Unfortunately, my visit felt uncomfortable because I was followed closely while shopping. I respect store security, but it's hard to enjoy browsing when you feel watched the entire time. I'd love to see a more welcoming, relaxed environment. read more

I went into Robinson's this morning with a couple minutes to spare looking for a rodeo shirt for my daughter. I was met at the door by an older lady with short gray hair. She seemed very friendly at first and willing to help, but I was moving a little quickly because I was short on time and she must have been offended by it because she called me a B$!tch. I have lived in Lodi, my entire life and was very surprised . I would never treat my customers this way let alone call them a name under their breath. I've used them once for hay and it was bad quality compared to others I've received. Their customer service is better than other supply stores in the area though. For now it's middle of the road. I'll give them another shot next year. read more

By far the best customer service, and surprisingly the best prices as well. We just got a new Doby and were treated amazing getting all his kenn and supplies, knowledgeable staff the whole way, and helped load the truck. Shopping local definitely pays off. read more

The older lady follows you around like your going to steal, made my wife and I feel real uncomfortable. My wife goes in all the time and comes home upset and I had to go in with her to see what she was talking about. I would rather pay more somewhere else than have her look at us like we are going to rob the place. read more

I was in the store today to get a couple of gifts for animal lovers for Christmas, love the store, but only 2 out of the 5 people working there had masks on. Three people did not have any masks, and the other two wore them under their nose.. I will not go back. I wear my mask everywhere because I care about the people around me. If I have COVID and don't know it, I do not want to give it to anyone and cause them health issues... from the stores I shop in, I expect the same. It is about mutual respect and responsibility. It is December 10th and the pandemic is worse than it has ever been, it is not a time to forget to care about the people around you. read more

First time going into the store service was great and very friendly. The store was stalked with all kinds of different brands of , , and all other animal items. Prices were very reasonable. They didn't have what I was looking for but I was able to get other things there. I wish I lived closer it would be my favorite store to get things for my furry kids. read more

Friendly staff, clean shop and they have EVO Ferret food (not that we would ever have one of those illegal ferrets in California.) They almost always have cats for adoption. We get ferret food and bird seed there. If western wear is your thing they got it and will get you hooked up. read more

I've been shopping at Robinsons Feed & Country for well over 20 years- they carry top quality food for my dogs & cats. This isn't just a feed store, they carry a huge selection of just about everything. The only problem is they carry great boots- and sticking to my shopping list can sometimes be challenging. I love the fact I can pick up honey from a local source along with pet treats. Living in the country we are blessed with an abundance of flies- they carry an easy to use spray that is applied to a paper plate & put up & forget it. Suddenly you realize you have no flies in your home, or garage or whatever space you placed it. The staff are all very knowledgeable & friendly. They will patiently answer any question asked & will offer options or substitutions if they are aware of a better product. There is never a hard sell, and they remember you when you go in. This place is the best! I love coming here because they are such sweet people. They really care about their customers and are always available to help you out. The other thing that kept me coming back was that they actually keep everything in stock. I used to go to pet discount long before I knew about Robinsons and they were horrible and never kept anything in stock. Today I went in there I was looking for a chew bone for my little pup and the sweetest guy at the register threw in a couple different extra pepperoni style sticks for my pup to try since he was a super picky eater. Hit or miss. I went there last week and received great service for my lambs. I went back this week after calling to see if they had emu food (and I was informed that they did). I purchased it only to find it was actually llama food. When I called it to their attention I was informed it was the same thing. What?!!!! An emu is a large flightless bird and a llama is a hairy mammal. I'm pretty sure they have nutritional differences. Laziness. read more

I really enjoy this place! On the left hand side of the huge warehouse-type store, Robinson's has a large variety of animal feed and care products-- dogs, cats, horses, fish and farm animals included. The store carries everything from tack, to beds, to vet products. If there's anything they don't have, I'm sure the friendly staff will be more than likely to help you order it! Also available at Robinson's-- live baby chickens, turkeys and ducks! They even have a cat adoption corner, which I have to avoid like the plague because I always want to take one home, but an deathly allergic. I know more about what's on the righthand side of the door, though! When you walk into the store, on the right you will see jewelry cases filled with Western costume jewelry, belt buckles and Montana Silversmith swag. Check out this stuff! It's great, reasonably priced, and Robinson's is really on of the only places IN Lodi that you will be able to find it. Behind the cases is where their Western store starts. Men, women and children's products are organized neatly in this space. Shirts, jeans, hats belts and shoes are all available. Brands include Wrangler, Justin, Roper, Ariat, Petrol, Cowgirl Tough, and so many more. The selection is great and ranges from stylish, trendy stuff to classic, utilitarian stuff. The only bad thing about this side of the store-- and the whole store in general-- is one woman sales associate. She's an older woman, short, short hair and heavy set. Any time I walk into the store, she immediately crowds me! She's very rude, pushy and abrupt! Listen, lady, my family has had an account here for years-- I know all about the brands you carry and how they run! Let me shop in peace, please! She drives me nuts! I want to complain to the manager about her. Maybe I'll do that next time I go in. Otherwise, Robinson's is wonderful! Called to see if they sold crickets, took maybe 10 rings for them to answer. When I asked if they sold crickets, the lady said okay! And hung up on me. I called back and a different lady answered and was INCREDIBLY rude. If I get this type of service over the phone, I will never go into your stores again. Raised in Lockeford. read more

Always was a customer at robinsons until my recent disappointment. I decided to purchase twelve chickens to start a small egg business. I was told that they were sexed and that 1 out of 10 could be a rooster. At about two months old I suddenly lost a hen. I sent her off to UC Davis to preform an autopsy. Turns out my hen died from Marek's disease. The vet asked if I purchased these chicks from a feed store and I responded yes. He said all feed stores are RESPONSIBLE for vaccinating against Marek's disease since it's highly contagious and this hen probably missed getting vaccinated. Ok...no problem it's just one chicken. Two weeks later I lost an other hen to Marek's. I called Robinson's and explained the whole situation. Turns out THEY DO NOT VACCINATE for Marek's because people don't want to pay the extra .30-.50 cents per chick. Great! I purchased 12 and once they get it there is nothing you can do and the hens end up suffering from tumors and paralysis. Remember how the hens were sexed... yeah well out of 12 "hens" three were rooster so now I'm down to 7 hens for the original 12 I purchased. At about five months I had a hen walking egg bound and extremely thin even though she wasn't mature enough to lay eggs yet. I found an Avian specialist in Sacramento. She said given my chickens history this hen was suffering from Marek's disease as well thats why her walking was wobbly and dropping her wings from paralysis and there isn't much I can do the hen will eventually die. Two weeks later I had an other hen who can hardly walk do to Marek's and paralysis in one of her legs. When I called Robinson's to explain my frustration that I purchased 12 hens and so far only 5 are able to lay the gentlemen told me basically it wasn't his problem and they could have contracted Marek's anywhere... HELLO!!! YOU DID NOT INFORM ME WHEN I PURCHASED THESE CHICKENS THEY WERE NOT VACCINATED. He also explained to me I am the first person to call an complain about my hens dying... that's because I'm PROBABLY THE FIRST PERSON TO HAVE AN AUTOPSY PREFORMED ON A CHICKEN. Moral of my story is if you are going to purchase chickens make sure you have them special order VACCINATED CHICKENS!!!! read more

Very disappointed in their customer service inconsistency. I called looking for a goat dewormer. I initially spoke to a very knowledgeable person who knew exactly what I was looking for and was very helpful. Because I needed this product forthwith, I called around some more and not finding it elsewhere, called back to ask them to order it. I then spoke with someone who didn't have much knowledge at all, but was trying to find the product. He then indicated they really didn't have it at all (even though the first guy did). I didn't mind that he didn't know, but when I suggested that we get the initial guy he became very short with me, insisting he knew exactly what I was looking for and they just didn't carry it. Ummm, yeah. Ok. Considering it took him nearly 2-3 minutes to repeat back, wherein the first guy immediately gave me the active ingredient in what I was looking for within 2 seconds, I am going with the first guy's knowledge. Too bad, there aren't more like the first guy! I went elsewhere. read more
