High quality Delta Bluegrass is top notch and freshly cut. Easy to work with and excellent 2 x 5 pieces for easy calculations on square feet. Also, they have rocks easily loaded into your truck. The forklift guys are great! They dumped half a yard of rock into my Tacoma and didn't even drop a rock. Also, when I had the sod loaded in the bed the guy laid down the palate with a surgeon-like precision. Also, the staff (only one lady that I saw) was very knowledgeable and friendly. The quality of plants for indoor and outdoor is very good but I didn't have time to think about that since I was busy laying down sod to perfection. 290 square feet and no remnants and it looks marvelous! read more

As well as she provided me with great planting pots that her shipment normally comes in, for free so that I could expand my herb garden. I did purchase some herbs from here as well. I was looking for several full sun butterfly loving plants and I definitely found some here! They have a nice variety of plants/trees and their staff is very knowledgeable and even gave a few helpful tips. I'm not sure why they have a $$$ as pertaining to their prices, because I found them very reasonable, so don't let that scare you away. I will be coming back and probably soon lol! read more

EXCELLENT customer service! Excellent work! We have a sloped backyard. We were quoted way over priced work from people trying to take advantage of us. Came here and was quoted a reasonable price, the guys were experienced, left my yard clean. We added boulders across our backyard. Waiting for it to warm up a bit and will have them also install our plants and shrubs!! I was stunned after spending close to $1000.00 was told I can not return 1 of the items the following day. That I would only be able to get retail credit. I know its not State law to post policy on returns / exchanges if the business offers refunds or store credit but in this case that law was abused. I will contact my local government to lobby for change in California. Absolutely horrible customer experience. The employee who delivered my tree and other various items stated he would be able to bring anything over and show me and my family what will look good and we can send the rest back. Well he never said if I leave it here you can not get your money back. Even the following day!!! Really!!! that's just bad business practice and so this is the direct result of that action. will never return to this establishment read more

I usually talk to Art and the customer service is THE BEST IT GETS!!! I was looking for a Meyer lemon tree and nobody had one and then an orange (a certain one) again nobody had one. Thought this lady was good at what she did was a caring person I always went there for everything flowers pants dirt rocks whatever. Then I took my two bonsai's to see if she could help me see what was going on with them, One I thought was pretty much gone, the other one was Stillgreen and from what I thought just need to be repotted and needed a little love from somebody that knew more than I did about bonsai's, well I got the dead one back in the same planter dish that I took it over nothing had been done to it and the green one was gone nowhere to be found shouldn't give it back to me so I gave me another one trying to tell me that was it, would never recommend this place for business again! I purchased my black beauty eggplants 6 pack and Yolo Wonder bell peppers 4-6 packs from Hollandutch Nursery this spring. Planted 3 to a 15 gallon pot. Also got a 6 pack of crook neck squash. Everyone of the plants are doing GREAT. I so far have gotten over 40 eggplants and they are still going strong. I have so many bell peppers that I am now freezing some for winter soups, stews and pasta sauces. The crook neck squash just keeps going and going. There plants can not be beat by no means. This is a very great place for your plant buying needs. The floor is nicely layed out, very organized, and cute. They have a HUGE selection of fruit trees, roses, etc during bare-root season. Also great friendly service. The only reason I took off one star is because the prices are a bit much if you wanted to buy a lot of items. For those willing to pay a little more though, there's no doubt you will be rewarded with higher quality healthy plants with a greater selection for those who are extra particular about things. read more

in the past i haved loved going to holland dutch. having said that i will never ever go back to them because they sold me a dwarf flowering plum tree that wasn't a dwarf!!! :( :( i wanted a dwarf in honor of a very dear friend who passed away! when i bought it i purposely asked if indeed it was a dwarf. they assured me it was because it was written on the 15 gallon container. i questioned them because there wasn't a tag from the nursery supplier. now i have a regular flowering plum which is too large for my yard:( the other issue was i purchased a beautiful windmill which upon delivery was broken. the tree was delivered at the same time and the man didn't bring the necessary tools to plant it. so i was forced to use some of my supplies:( when i confronted both the owner and the delivery guy they gave lame excuses and wouldn't do anything to rectify my issues. i will never return!!! :( :( read more
