I love this place. They have a wonderful selection of plants. The staff couldn't be nicer or more helpful! It's far more than just trees so go check them out. read more

I've bought trees from Delta Tree Farms Inc before, and I just came back to purchase two more because they're genuinely one of the best nurseries around. Their selection is HUGE. Fruit trees, ornamentals, evergreens, shade trees... You name it, they probably have it. Everything is healthy, well-labeled, and easy to walk through. I love that you can actually take your time, compare sizes, and see mature examples. The staff is always kind and patient, and you never feel rushed or pressured. They know their plants and are happy to answer questions. The prices are really fair for the quality, and my last tree (red maple) from them continues to grow beautifully, which is why I trusted them again. If you're looking for trees or landscaping plants, this is definitely the place to go. Highly recommend! read more

They have an excellent selection of plants and trees that all seemed very healthy and well watered. Also a shaded area were you could sit and relax. Also very knowledgeable and friendly sales people. Good prices and many sale items. read more

My friend insists I post this and they are right. Is this place racist or classist? In this day and age, some of y'all will rejoice. I had to think this over for a long time. If you see my previous post I kept it cute. The way he treated me was bizarre. I had just left my garden in overalls and a bandana on my head ready to purchase some roses. Did he think I was poor plebe (Lodi can be snobby)? Or hates Black people? My friend (white) who watched from a distance was furious and called him out. I'll spend my money where I can just be myself and shop with folks who are down to earth because they in the earth. read more

Knowledgeable staff and decent variety. Prices are in the high end compared to big box retailers, but the service is excellent.

Great service from the staff. Called ahead to verify a peach tree in stock and they picked out a real nice one and tagged it for my pickup. Helpful assistance in loading and planting guidance. read more

I really love this nursery. I had a great visit last time and got some really beautiful violas in autumn shades and some lime green coleus for my shady garden. Also a great selection of ground cover and succulents. The lady that works there is really nice and friendly. 10/10 would recommend read more

Everything in our backyard is from Delta Tree - the Salvia below the Rose Tree and the Rose Tree / Crepe Myrtles and flowering bushes around them / Butterfly Bushes / and the Tiger Eye bush outside our back patio door that started as 1 gallon - blooms all year. Everything is quality and prices are below other retail nurseries (go to Elk Grove and have a look around). Fruit trees...pathway bushes - bamboo bushes and rose bushes all thriving. They have a huge selection - large trees of all varieties and sizes. Need a golf cart to see it all. read more

Great selections and varieties. Also had friendly and knowledgeable help. Answered all my questions.

My husband and I had the delightful honor of being helped by Sandy at Delta Tree Farms. We were looking for a type of tree that would soften the back wall of our back yard. She swooped us up into a golf cart and off we went to the outermost parts of their property to find the perfect specimen. We appreciated her knowledge and time spent on us. Thank you Sandy! read more

We drove 26 miles mid day Friday to purchase a camellia. We were confronted by a closed sign on the fence, a parking lot full of cars and an open gate. Before driving home empty handed, we asked an approaching blond lady who replied, "what could we have added to the closed sign to make it any clearer and perhaps we should print and hang a large banner." I was insulted so: excuse me for assuming you would be open during your advertised business hours and for thinking you valued your customers. read more

One of the best selections that is open to the public. The customer service is hit and miss depending on staffing and how busy they are. Today the owner added me to the delivery list and had my plants at the house in 20 min (about a mile away). They are kind of pricy but the quality and selection makes it worth it. About the same pricing as Lowe's but better quality since there is so much to chose from. I would recommend to those who live in Lodi or Stockton. read more

I used to always think this place was only for trees or landscapers since I always saw landscaping trucks there. It is for the home gardener too!! It has a wonderful selection of plants. Great place!!!! read more

I can't speak highly enough about Delta Tree Farms, their quality of service and plants. Mario Gonzalez, of sales and purchasing, helped me with a phone order that I made because I live out of town and wished to do business with a lodi company for a delivery of trees to a friend's home in Linden for a wedding gift. Mr. Gonzalez was exceptionally helpful and gracious. He hand picked two beautiful and healthy fruit trees; the types I had chosen. Delivery went perfectly and Mr. Gonzalez made sure I was kept up to date all the way to delivery. My friends love their gift. Thank you, Delta Tree Farms. And Thank You, Mario! read more

You get what you pay for. Succulents were on the pricier side but they are so healthy! I potted my succulents onto my lawn and they grew big, leaves were thick, and some bloomed long stalks of flowers. Only happy succulents bloom flowers. Definitely beats buying plants from the grocery store and Lowe's. read more

Great selection and great employees to help. The fruit trees are a little above the cost of other places I've been, but the trade off is that they'll accept returns within 1 year with receipt. Big plus for unforeseen issues read more

I love this place!!! Everything outdoor that you'd be looking for ! They have the best selection of plant food , pesticides and pots anywhere in Stockton ! There's plenty of parking and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly! It's my Happy Place read more

My first time gardening & I wanted to get help but a woman name Sandy seems really annoyed when I asked a question. Her personality should not be working there. Therefore, I ended up spending a lot of money elsewhere. Overall, this place does have a variety of beautiful flowers, trees, etc for landscaping. read more

I went and during the 3 minutes of shopping, I was told "were closed". I just went somewhere else and they were happy to take my money and assist me with my purchase. You suck salty lemons. read more

Not to helpful seemed annoyed we had questions . But this nursery has some of the best selection of plants I've ever seen

We purchased an apple tree, avocado tree, several rose bushes and herbs. I can't tell you how awesome these are doing! They are thriving in my Lodi front yard. Very healthy and excellent quality plants. The staff was super knowledgeable on helping me know how to plant them correctly. read more

Friendly and helpful, a great variety, a little pricey. I'll post pictures when trees are established.

Helpful staff. Nice variety. Found what I was looking for. Got some good tips. Ive been a couple times since my initial visit last year. Will go back again. read more

What a terrific nursery. Plants are healthy and well maintained. We are lucky to have this independent nursery in our area, as they are fast disappearing. This is the go to place for specimen trees. As my husband said "gotta love any place that has Boronias with a veterans discount." read more

This is an amazing nursery. They have a huge selection of plants and trees. I loved the high quality of the plants and they have a very diverse selection. I ended up buying two trees and two bushes and they are great additions to our garden. The only downside is that I had to contract with someone else to put them in for me. The nursery used to be to be open only to professional contractors but is now open to the public. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. read more

Wonderful, well kept secret in Lodi! They have an extensive collection of trees, shrubs, annuals, and grasses, as well as friendly and knowledgeable staff. Prices are reasonable and competitive. We bought fruiting vines, native grasses, and a drought tolerant perennial flowering shrub. read more

Got my lemon tree , everybody was very nice and knowledgeable, prices almost the same as Home Depot or anywhere else, but better quality. This place is highly recommended and credit cards accepted. read more

Received a phone call from this nursery that they found a tree that they didn't know they still had and knew I needed. The tree look sick with sap running down the trunk. Now I shouldn't had bought the tree but they should not have sold it. I should had back away right there then when the owner was starring at this near dead tree. Took the tree home and planted it but within one week it was a rust colored and brittle. I returned twice and was told all it needed was a vitamin B solution. Upon planting the tree it was given a started solution. The only thing I'll say is I will never buy another thing there. read more

Great resource for excellent quality and variety! Very helpful staff and COVID conscious!

Great selection of plants and trees. If you want plants that are different from what the big box stores provide, this is the place. Great selection of water-wise plants and best place to get native plants near Stockton/Lodi. I hope their native plants selection gets bigger in time. Customer service is really good too; knowledgeable folks. All the plants I've bought from this nursery have grown well in my yard. Can't say the same for the plants I get from Home Depot or Lowes. read more

So, what was once ugly turned wonderful. Saw two 5gl shrubs my neighbor needed, asked how much $$ was quoted 47 each. Great. Went to check out, was told that was last years price new price 68. Ouch....really 21. $$ more. Hey I thought I was at a wholesale grower?? Guess not. Owner Don was in the cashiers booth, explained the quoted price vs the new price and he just stands there looking like an idiot. Now the best .....told the local nursery in Manteca that I saw these shrubs in 5 gl and he was able to order and his price is 45$. What??? Come on, your making Delta Tree Farm look really bad. Lesson here....don't believe wholesale to public. Shop around, give your local nursery a chance. read more

Great experience here - so much selection and Linda explained everything and took me on a golf cart to show me all of my options for their extensive inventory. She convinced me that a tree would fit into my Jeep (it did) and was happy to get it home and planted. It is well worth the hike. Friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful customer service all around. read more

One of the only local growers that carry California natives. Staff is knowledgable and helpful!

Delta tree farms is my favorite nursery where you can find abundance of plants that are beyond the usual Home Depot type. The selection of trees are outstanding, and my feeling is they take good care of you, and what you can't find anywhere else, rest assured you will find it at Delta Tree Farms. If you like unusual landscapes this is the place. read more

This place came highly recommended so I came here in search of a tree to replace our tree we had removed in our front yard. It had to be a specific tree per homeowner requirements. They did not have the tree in stock so the lady that worked there said if I couldn't find it anywhere else, to call them and they may be able to order it. After checking 6 other nurseries and still couldn't find the tree, I called and asked if I could order it. An older gentleman said he'd check and call me back. He called the next day and said he was going to try to find the tree and would call me back. After days, possibly the next week, he didn't call so I called him back. A younger guy answered the phone and said he'd give the other guy the message because the other guy was w a customer. Well, after no phone call after days, I gave up. They seemed helpful at first but never followed up. Not very reliable customer service. Guess they didn't need the business read more

I have had great experiences here. They have a wide selection, quality specimens, and reasonable prices. When they don't have a particular variety of plant or tree I am looking for, they always find out if they can order it and call me back promptly. When I've special-ordered, the orders have come in quickly and I've been notified as soon as it arrives. read more

We live near by and have gone here several times to spruce up our yard. They have a ton of variety compared to big box stores. The plants are much healthier too. The staff is very knowledgeable - if you tell them what you are looking for and the exposure for your yard - they will help you decide what to plant. Prices are comparable to home improvement stores too but plants are larger and better watered. read more
