I love Gribaudo Farms, I found them last year and it quickly became my go to. They have such a wide variety of vegetables and plants to choose from that I didn't even know many existed. The prices definitely beat big box stores and the plants don't die when transplanted so thats a win for me. This year I bought my Cherry Tomato plants and slicing tomato plants here. I drip watered daily and fertilized once a week at the start (diluted Miracle Grow). Owing nothing more to me, the plants I bought were spectacular - the best ever. Our 6th year here in Lodi. And we've had a bunch of heat this summer - the plants are so bushy they shade themselves and the root balls. Pretty sure we have picked 500 Cherry Tomatoes from each plant that started in a 4" container. These tomatoes grew up and into our pear tree. I had only heard stories of this - now I've seen it. The slicing tomatoes are still being picked - like for 3 months now. Guessing 100 tomatoes per plant. Super production. I will always buy my plants here from Jay. read more

I am a regular shopper at Gribaudo's, but after my experience today, I will not return! While standing in line, the lady in front of me was complimenting their flowers. She said she especially liked the "black" flowers. The man behind the counter laughed and said that so many Black people were moving to Lodi, he had to buy them! The woman laughed and replied "They're moving to Galt too!" THIS IS RACISM! They both laughed! I did interject that I work and am friends with many Black people and they are wonderful people! The woman grabbed her items and left! The worker had no response! HATE IS NOT ACCEPTABLE! read more

The owners of this nursery are very helpful and the plants are all healthy and reasonably priced. I loved browsing at all the plants and bought everything I needed. They had the Meyer tree that I wanted and I ended up buying all my vegetable plants for my garden and they are all wonderfully healthy. The owners couldn't have been nicer. Our experience was awful. The owner was extremely rude, he said "Get the F--k out of my store". that is not the way to talk to a customer. We had bought 4 plants two days prior. 2 of these were dying and we had watered them the day before. According to him we didn't know what we were doing and told us we were lying. All we wanted to have us explained why these 2 plants were dying. He started making comments about us to other customers (Probably thinking that we can not understand english) . No warranty on the product he sells. We were not even asking a refund. He tossed the plants across the room on the floor. We absolutely do not recommend this place. Was it because we are not of his same race?. It left us wonder. read more

For Mother's Day we decided to plant impatiens in the shaded area of my mother's garden. We did a google search and found this 5 star rated family run business. We love supporting businesses like that. We had been to Lowe's and target the day before and found nothing of this quality or the personal service. The owner who checked us out was very friendly, the nursery with its rustic charm is somewhere we would have liked to have spent more time. From now on, every time we return to visit the parents we're going. For the short time we were there we could tell the staff was friendly and extremely helpful. I want to go back to get advice for a window box I have in downtown Sanfrancisco at my business in the heart of Union Square. I know they could help me. For those of you who love Instagram, get that shot inside. It's very instagram-able, a gem of Lodi's disappearing farmland. If you're in the area wine tasting, take a break and bring something back to the City. We will always do our best to ensure businesses like this survive. read more
