I love this place. The self-wash is a lifesaver -- I bring my dog here between grooming sessions, especially if she gets dirty after playtime. It is so easy, clean, and convenient. I also have four parakeets who go crazy for the treats, toys, and food from this store. The selection is great and always stocked. We have even bought some beautiful fish from this store. Came here to try the self-service dog wash. Really convenient, especially if you have larger dogs like I do. I wish I could've brought all my dogs at once and just let my others hangout while they take turns getting a bath. I'll have to go back. There are two stand up tubs and one low tub. The lower tub is nice in that your dog can jump right in, but you might get more wet using this one. It doesn't have the bath wall to shield you from your dog splashing water or the water from splashing you, so bathe with caution (lol). They provide various soaps, deodorizing sprays, and towels. You can also feel free to use your own shampoo. It's a great time to brush your dog if they have a lot of third hairs. One wash is $14 or you can get 5 washes for $50. read more

I came to pet supplies so i can wash my dog because he has anxiety. I got a toy from there that actually lasts. I got the toy about 2 months ago. They must of rearrange things so I asked for help. The coworker named Danny did not offer any type of help on looking for this toy. Made excuses about we dont sell that type here. Straight laziness. I finally found it. It was behind other toys. We have always been greeted pleasantly upon entering the store. On our recent visit we were immediately led to the row where head cones for dogs were. Then the staff explained the pro and cons of the different choices and we selected the one we thought was best for our dog. Everyone is so kind and helpful. I was in search of a self doggy wash - I'm passing through town & doggy was a bit stinky. Since I'm not from around here and most all groomers need vaccination record (note to self). My doggy is fully vaccinated just couldn't prove it so I couldn't take my dog to any of the local groomers after 2 failed visit to one location . Anyhow leaving this particular location after having made appt. & Informed them I was from out of town the previous day when I made appt in person made I saw a banner advertising their groomer and vet services- I made a u turn and was on my way. I was immediately greeted & I asked for self doggy wash She pointed me in the right direction & doggy was bathed - they had all I needed different shampoo for all doggie needs. I used the oatmeal and deodorizer- my dog was smelling so good. He also felt good after his bath. A gentleman Eve came to check on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Dried up my doggie and finished up spraying him with a lavender Spray - 2 days later he is still smelling good. My pet is very picky and when I bought some pellets for him he refused to eat them. The store let me return the food and find another food that he would eat. I use the self dog wash station here and it's amazing! I bought the package of 5 washes for $40 so it averages about $8 a wash! Totally worth it. There are two different sized bins for washing if you have small or large dogs. They provide regular shampoo, deodorizing shampoo, oatmeal shampoo, conditioner, towels, waterproof aprons and one grooming blow dryer for each bin. Every time we go we are welcomed and told to use a bin right away. Great service and very cheap compared to professional grooming if you're in a pinch. read more

Excellent Customer Service! This was my first time in this store. I was there with my puppy for the VIP vaccination clinic located within their store. First of all, Pet Supplies Plus is huge with plenty of polite, helpful employees on hand to help you find anything you might need. That's not to say they were standing around - anything but! They were all VERY busy putting out merchandise and such - but each one would greet me and ask if they could help in anyway. I decided to ask about a toy for which I'd previously searched several large national chain stores in Lodi, Elk Grove and at least two up in Sacramento. I asked one of their friendly employees if they might have an Extra Small Kong in pink for my tiny Yorkie girl. "Yes, we've got one of those." I'd heard that before - inevitably it would turn out to be a regular size "small." But, lo and behold they actually had, in stock, that holiest (at least to me) of all kongs - the seemingly mythical XS PINK KONG!! So if you haven't checked them out yet - please do. Their shelves are all neat and fronted, the store is immaculate and their employees are miracle workers. read more

On September 30,2022 at 2:33 pm my daughter and I walked in to pets supplies plus Lodi to use the u bath dog station. Both were in use so the associate Jordon gave us the clipboard to sign in and advised us that as soon as on became available we would be called. We went outside to wait and at 3:10 we walked up to the store to see how much more of a wait we would have. The station was being used by a Caucasian woman. (We are Hispanic) we received no call and when we asked for a refund they said we were not signed in but we were my daughter and I pointed out the name. I have never felt so disrespected. Why have a list and assure customers they will be called once it's there turn. When clearly it's based on race. We waited over 30 minutes just to be bumped out place based on ethnicity. Never again will I send a dollar in this store again if this is their practices. read more
