Hi, I picked up my six-year-old Shih Tzu today from Sherries after she was done grooming him, and she did a phenomenal job. She's been doing dog grooming for over 30 years, and because of her experience I am very comfortable bringing my kid there. I didn't have to question what was going on in the back, and I didn't have any negative energy, dropping them off and picking them up. *** update- I have completely stopped taking my pet here. I was really disappointed in the last few times I took my dog here as the place was clearly overbooked. On one occasion I brought my dog in and Newark's 4 hours later I called to check on status as was told my dog had been washed and wasn't even cut yet, I was asked to pick him up and bring him back. When I got there my dog had been sitting washed and was just sitting there wet and air drying. On the last occasion I took my dog there he is is normally very excited to go but when I picked him up he was very jumpy and scared. The day I picked him up he peed in the house which he has never done before. After that he has continued to have accidents and behavior that he never exhibited before. This made me feel very uncomfortable and I have not taken my dog back since. It's very unfortunate as I did enjoy this place but the customer service and care of pets has declined. Cute little spot hidden away. Gerry is absolutely amazing! She is the only one whose been able to successfully handle my feisty pup. After taking him to multiple groomers and ending up with half haircuts I almost gave up on being able to have him groomed until coming here. They're clean, friendly and flexible with making last minute appointments. read more

We missed our groomers appointment for Keoki before we left Vegas. Found Spa 4 Paws on Yelp while roadtrippin to Stockton and found these amazing kindhearted team. Took us last minute and didnt once complain or get turned off when I warned them that our furbaby has anxiety and gets a little nippy. Some lady answered & refused to give her name HOWEVER I offered mine up by saying .."Hi! my name is ..." she needed to pass me to a groomer when I asked the price of grooming. Gerri does such a great job. I have three Shih tzus and one Maltese. Gerri takes her time and is always willing to assist and suggest the best grooming care for my babies. i've came to spa 4 paws a couple of times before and i always leave happy! i adopted my dog back in march 2019 and i didn't know where to go get a haircut for her but then i found spa 4 paws. it's a little far from my house but it's worth the drive! all the employees are very friendly and they give the most perfect haircut to my dog. i believe kathy is the one who always takes care of my dog so i recommend her. my dog's haircut costed $40 just to give a reference. one tip that i have is to have cash since they only take cash. read more

Love this place for my dog! He is 5 years old and they do such a great job on cutting his hair ,, and taking care of him, I would say that their systems of organization needs to be updated,, they still use flash card and pencils. And I will also say they need to brush teeth! I would like to have a one stop shop.. get my dogs teeth brush.. anal glands expressed.. flee dip and groomed .. ! They don't brush teeth and they have an outdated system for checking in your dog .,, I still drop My dog off here because the price is very reasonable ! If I can find a one stop shop with similar pricing I would go that route read more

It sucks that I have to write this but I can't bring my dog here anymore. I know my dog is hard to groom. He wiggles a lot but after taking him the emergency vet from picking him up from here (and $140 later) I have to find another groomer. My dogs eyes got very infected from the clippers they used. I'm not sure if the groomer snipped his eye lid or what but he was so swollen. I had to give my dog eye drops every day for seven days and he is wearing a cone. His paw was cut and infected as well. He's also been scouting his butt because his anal glands weren't treated properly. I'm not sure if the groomers have the patience's for my dog so I'll have to find another place. These ladies that run the business along with the groomers are older women. If you guys know any other groomers in Stockton let me know. read more

I took my 3yr old teacup yorkie here for a summer cut and they did a great job. He has a neurological disorder that makes him run in circles which you can imagine will make grooming difficult, but they did great! They are more affordable then other groomers which is great. Only thing that prevents me from giving 5 stars is that they are cash or check only. I am a person who rarely carries cash so it's a but inconvenient to have to go get cash but their service and price is worth it. read more
