Grown up grilled cheese & tomato basil soup (SO GOOD)
    Tiffanie S.

Absolutely adorable, unique restaurant. You are greeted by a welcoming staff (and an impressive dessert case) into a beautiful dining room with a very cute patio for outdoor dining. The food is awesome. The tomato basil soup is a must, paired with the grown up grilled cheese (I was apprehensive about the fig jam but it worked out perfectly with the cheese!). I tried my aunts shrimp tacos, also excellent. I would love to come back here if I'm in the area again.

A lovely restaurant. Excellent service and fresh, delicious food. Indoor or outdoor patio seating, with nice views of a stream. Umbrellas at each table. A very comfortable, relaxing Mother's Day lunch.

Charming Brunch Spot with Delicious Food! Robin's Nest is such a great little brunch gem! The food is sooo yummy and the service is just as good--friendly and attentive without being too much. I'm already planning my next visit because I need to try some of their desserts! The ambiance is lovely--very old-timey and antique, with cozy touches that make it feel like a step back in time. Plus, it's in walking distance of a few cute mini shops, which makes for a perfect little weekend outing. Highly recommend if you're in the mood for a charming, delicious brunch spot!

Robin's Nest was a warm and charming restaurant! The decor was cozy and thoughtfully designed. Our waitress was wonderful, and the food was delicious. The chocolate torte was absolutely HEAVENLY! I highly recommend if you are a chocolate lover!

July 30, 2024 - 3 for lunch. I have been here a few times in the 10 YEARS! since I posted my first review for the Robin's Nest. Sadly my Sister in Law who loved this place and lived a few miles away, passed away almost exactly 1 year ago. We came here to celebrate the one year anniversary of here passing from cancer with her now alone daughter. we all got a few varied items and it was a splendid lunch, with AWESOME service and food that was fresh, well prepared and from a varied menu fit for most all diets and lifestyle. My niece is now staying here locally so I am sure if we visit her in the future this is where we will go.

First time visitors ... this restaurant is a lovely, inviting establishment! We decided to eat in the dining room and it was perfect! Bustling but not overcrowded.. I enjoyed a lovely quiche with house salad that was so good I devoured the whole piece.

5 stars for Sunday brunch! Met my friend here as it is a midway point for us. So glad that Yelp pointed us here! $4 mimosas and the seasonal martinis are on point. We both had the turkey sausage hash. A medley of sweet and savory! This is the first of many visits. Cozy, charming, and cute. There are a few different dining areas, each with its own little personality. Server was so nice - we asked her to take a pic of us because we accidentally wore matching outfits and she was patient and found the perfect spot!

    Brisket that's gluten free.

My husband and I randomly ended up in Mount Holly and searched for a place that accommodates gluten free individuals. Very cute and homey inside. There were very few gluten free items and we settled for the brisket and clam chowder(not GF). The brisket was flavorful and soft. The clam chowder was plentiful and decadent. We were also seated across from the cakes and sweets showcase: due to absolutely no self discipline, we ordered the Chocolate Mousse and chocolate cake to go. Both were very delicious. Service was quick and good. Would definitely recommend if in the area.

This is a cute restaurant in the center of town. They prefer reservations. There is indoor and outdoor seating. One day for dinner I had the cranberry chicken which was tasty and filling. Another day I tried the turkey reuben which again was good and filling. The rueben was served with a delicious pasta salad. For an appetizer each time I got the truffle fries which are perfection. If you are looking for a date spot, this would be a great place to go.

I agree with everyone regarding the decor that it's inviting and gives the feel of a sophisticated home of years long ago. Although I like the ambience, it is heavy, dark and dated. There are areas that appear similar to a reading nook or a smoke room table, a reading lamp overhead or near the table may be helpful to keep it from looking so dank. My cousin suggested this restaurant as she lived in Mt Holly over 15 years ago. She mentioned the decor as comfortable like 'grandmoms' house and the food being really good. Well the old memories of the decor was spot on but the food so-so. She ordered spilt pea soup with ham, no bits of ham or the taste of according to her. The French Onion soup did not have a broth flavor I'm familiar with it was sweet and unpleasant. I did not like it at all. See my other reviews I order French Onion soup A LOT! My burger was a nice size and just a burger nothing special. I don't care for 'seasoned' or 'textured' fries, regular shoestring or steak fries will do but I understand that a personal preference. The service was good and prompt, the food average, cocktails are worth the price as it relates to flavor and strength. prices fair but the take home desserts were stale. Baked goods that are old I find a major turnoff. Would I return? No. Should others give it a chance? If you're nearby but not if a drive is greater that 15-20 minutes as you will pass other excellent experiences along the way.

Yassss and yassss!!! I came to visit my niece and she brought me here...knowing my hunger level was high!!! I enjoyed everything about this place. The location is on a cute lil street with a coffee house and other local establishments. Its a vey causal friendly atmosphere. The wait staff was very good and quick which was appreciated. I got the tot bowl which was bacon, sausage, two scrambled eggs with cheese over a bed of tater tots.....phatgirl heaven!!!! Carbs+Meat+Cheese = Wanted Calories!! Let me say in all honesty that tot bowl was everything I needed!! But it is hearty so make sure you are good and hungry like I was. The bottomless was just that I had a belly full of champagne and OJ!!! Overall this place was great for breakfast/brunch, that I really want to try it for dinner. I will be back

We entered through the wall of the restaurant and walked right into the cute bar area of the lounge (3 bar seats). The energy was buzzing and there were others laughing and talking so we slipped right into a table and go comfy. Kayla greeted us minutes after we settled in and brought over menus and water. She let us take our time deciding on cocktails and we were glad she did because the menu is extensive. 2 pages of specialty cocktails and countless pages of over 200 different whiskeys! I decided on a gin based cocktail called a BIJOU and the man decided on an Old Fashioned. Kayla wanted to ensure we thoroughly enjoyed our drinks so she shared that we were able to change the type of whiskey and gin if we wanted. Both cocktails were DELICIOUS and absolutely "spirited"! Kayla is such an amazing mixologist and she was also the only employee in the lounge so she was mixing drinks, seating people, answering questions and doing so seamlessly and with a smile. We will definitely be back and will be sure to bring friends anytime they're in town because this place is such a gem.

Owen, our host, was very considerate and offered to sit us up front near the window, or out back where it was very quiet, or up on the bar. We chose the bar where Chris was mixing drinks with his long mixer. The beer selection is top notch - all local brews, many highly rated, a wide selection. The food was spectacular - fresh and tasty. All made from scratch by chef David from local ingredients. This place really is "The Local" with it's selection of locally sourced food and drinks. The caesar salad is always a point of comparison for a good restaurant. Ours rated very highly - fresh, crisp, well made and zesty. The fish tacos were excellent, some of the best I've ever had - loaded, spicy, fresh, with lots of well balanced flavors. Turns out there is another room behind the wall - a Speakeasy. We were very tempted but unfortunately had to miss it so that we could get up early and resume our road trip. But it too was very much "The Local" - a curated list of 300 American Whiskeys, including the local distilleries.

There's parking in front but also a very large lot behind the restaurant). We were immediately seated and given menus to browse while we waited for our server. The menu, while smaller, still has many fun and interesting options so we had no problem deciding on our meals (& drinks). The Blackberry Smash and the Autumn Cow-Man were the cocktails we ordered and the Thai Chili Brussels, Cheesesteak Eggrolls were the apps and the Buffalo Wings and Grilled Chicken Sandwich were the entrees. ALL THE FOOD (& drinks) were AMAZING!!!! Flavors were popping! Portions were generous! The food truly lived up to all the hype! The only reason the review isn't 5 stars is because our server was seriously on delay ... it had nothing to do with being busy because we had clear sight of him the entire time ... he was just on "island time" in NJ lol! We didn't make a big deal out of it because we were in no rush and were really enjoying ourselves but if he would've been on his Ps and Qs this would've been a 5 star review. The good news is we will be back so, there's another chance (or chances) to make it 5 stars!

I was nervous at first seeing the thick bread but it all came together. It wasn't greasy at all. The corned beef was crispy which made it easier to bite. Who hates trying to bite through tough corned beef???? The amount of sauerkraut was perfect. One half of my sandwich had the perfect amount of dressing. The other half was dry. The portion sizes were generous; both my burger and the Cheesesteak Deluxe were large enough that we brought leftovers home from both entrées. Cons: Unfortunately, the drinks were not good. I ordered a Downeast Cider on tap and it tasted like the line may not have been cleaned recently. My companion ordered a cosmopolitan that was essentially undrinkable--extremely strong and not well balanced. We later learned the bartender is new, so hopefully that improves with experience. The wings were also served cold, and the Jammin' burger came out without the bacon jam that's supposed to be a key part of the dish. The restaurant itself is also very tight quarters. If you prefer more personal space or feel more comfortable in places where it's easy to move around or exit quickly, this may not be the best spot for you. However, given the number of issues during one visit, I'm not sure we'd return.
