LITERALLY THE BLIND LEADING THE BLIND - and this is a place where you go to get your eyes checked. The current manager and mouth to the doctor is conniving & manipulative. Everytime I come in there, she blocks my way to get contacts or speak to the doctor. Today, she refused to give me a pair of contacts to hold me over until I could order some this week - she then told me the cost was $20 - NEVER have I had to pay for any current prescription pair to hold me over in all the years as a client at this place. In addition, it's clear she is making up rules as she see's fit and based upon whether or not she likes you. When I confronted her with this and she again refused, I asked when could I speak to the doctor. She then took down my name and date of birth and went in the office with the door shut and took it upon herself to speak to the doctor and give him the narrative she choose to give him instead of allowing me to speak directly to the doctor by a phone call. After waiting and waiting, this woman came out to tell me that the doctor stated I had to pay for "trial" lenses. What a joke this place is. Furthermore, the last time I came in there to order contact lenses, she wrote down the prescription wrong - when I got them I had to go in the store and she had to reorder them. At that time, she decided to give me a pair of what she is now calling "trail lenses" to hold me over. But this story gets better - she had denied those same lenses that day I came into order my contacts stating she was out of that prescription - are you following me - THIS WOMAN IS A LIAR. I guess I was getting in the way of her commission as she was working with a customer trying to sell the overpriced eyeglasses in their establishment. I had a problem years ago with their other staff stealing money from me when I went to purchase glasses - its why I don't buy glasses from them because that commission has them salivating so hard they have to steal. Let's be clear, this woman who is lucky to be employed, has decided she doesn't like me and her ignorance shines through. It's okay, she's made me dislike her as well - all by her nasty self. I'm a true believer in karma and while this review may not stop all of you from coming here, it will cause you to think twice when encountering this woman who is inept & clearly just holding onto her job by giving her narrative to the doctor. And BTW, the doctor is an idiot to only hear one side of the story - that right there should tell you all you need to know about this place. Your eye health is important, so find a doctor who is objective with clients and staff. read more

Best eye doctor I've ever been to. I've had bad experiences in the past with other doctors whose answer to everything was always just prescribe "reading glasses" although I have 20/20 vision. I suffered from lots of painful eye straining even when not at a computer, dryness and irritation in my eyes that wouldn't go away with eye drops, headaches and constant motion sickness. After going to a primary healthcare doctor and walking away with nothing I decided to get my eyes checked. My husband started coming here for his contact lenses and he liked them so I decided to come too. I was told that the "reading glasses" I was given in the past were a wrong prescription, which I believed because they did NOTHING for me. Then, Dr.Nguyen told me about this new exam called Neurolens, at first I was skeptical, I wondered if they were just trying to sell me something because my insurance didn't cover it. But after reading the pamphlets, watching some videos on this new technology, and discussing with my husband I decided to try it. It was quite expensive but let me tell you, Dr. Nguyen was right. My results were that i had misaligned vision which was why my eyes strained so much even though I have 20/20 vision! He explained to me that it would take some time to adjust. The first week I hated wearing the glasses because everything looked distorted! I felt like I was going to fall and I'm a busy mom , I was a bit worried. After complaining to my husband about having to wear glasses when I have perfect vision, at around 2 weeks I stopped complaining. These glasses were the solution. I don't know how, I don't know why, but whenever I wear them I do not strain my eyes at ALL. I don't feel motion sickness, my eyes have not been dry at all. It's just unbelievable how well they worked. They're not like any other lens, but it definitely helped my misalignment and its now been a few months and I have seen a HUGE difference. So all this to say, trust Dr. Nguyen, he is an honest man. Thank you for helping me, I wear my glasses daily! read more

Worst eye doctor ever. I was young, buying glasses for the first time, they were overly helpful. Trying to get me to buy things I didn't need, taking advantage of me. My bill came out to 400 with insurance. They tried to sell me sunglasses without a prescription, when all I wanted was transitioning glasses. When I realized it wasn't right, the staff was completely rude. The one guy wouldn't even talk to me, my dad had to talk to them over the phone so they would take some things off my bill. Zero stars isn't an option or that's what I would give them. My 89 year old grandmother went here to get new glasses. When she got new glasses she couldn't see out of them so she went back. They did another exam and admitted they made a mistake with her prescription and gave her another pair of glasses. She still could not see out of them. This went back and forth for months. The lenses were so thin that every time she wiped them the lens would literally fall out. After months of trying to ask what she could do to make it better, she just asked for her money back. It stated on the receipt and in the office they did a money back guarantee for one year. They flat out refused. She called insurance and they are helping her pay for another eye appointment somewhere else. But seriously who takes advantage of an 89 year old woman?!?! I had the worst experience ever with this vision company!!! The Groupon is pointless!! How do you advertise a free exam and then $200 credit for lenses and frames and the total still comes up to over $400 after the $200 credit!!! The staff is rude and unprofessional to say the least!! Then they redeemed the Groupon and told us we owe money because I was not going to fall for the price they were going us!! I have never paid over $600 dollars for glasses for my son and his vision has not changed in last than 6months where it will require me to pay that amount of money for glasses!!! read more

If I could give them 0 stars I would but that is not an option. I had been going here for years with my kids and justified the insane prices by hoping I was getting better quality. Well I am not!!! I bought 3 pairs of glasses for my kids at a whopping almost $700 out of pocket over the price my insurance paid. Well 2 out of 3 were broken in a little over 2 months. They will fix one and not the other but offered to sell me another pair. I went to another optometrist to look at glasses and was shocked to see the same glasses kleinwood vision sells for some at half the cost. Not to mention kleinwood charges $80 for transition alone to be added in their already insane prices and other places you can get the entire lens with the polycarbonate upgrade and transition lens for $78. What a total rip off!!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!! read more

The initial visit and eye exam was fine. The Optometrist examination was good and my new bifocal prescription was placed. I sat down with a tech and picked out frames. The tech measured me for the bifocal lenses. I returned weeks later to pick up my completed eye glasses. I met some lady that told me she was the "Optician Manager". She gave me my new glasses that much to my dismay were single vision lenses. I told her that my prescription lenses were supposed to be bifocals. Instead of being understanding and courteous, she was patronizing and made it sound like I was mistaken on my order. After much debate, I soon became irritated and informed her that I know what type of glasses I wore. She then proceeded to tell me I needed to show her respect when I spoke to her. I asked to speak to the Optometrist but she once again informed me she was the Optician Manager and refused to get the Optometrist. She then told me for $250.00 the glasses could be upgraded to bifocals. I was so angry that I didn't think to show her the original prescription in my pocket that said Bifocals on it ! Having previously paid in advance for the glasses, I just took them and left. Such unprofessional customer courtesy and the incompetence exhibited on getting my glasses made wrong, left me with no desire to ever use this place again. That's probably what I get for using their discount that they had posted on Amazon. read more

What a disappointment ! OK exam and ordered glasses. Waited three weeks and called to check. Was told by the staff they had called the lab and the glasses were in AR coating and would be in the store on Monday. Received no notice they were in and called the following Thursday. They were receiving a new shipment and I would get a call when they were finished checking in the glasses. Again no call. When I did get the automated voice message four days later that my glasses were in I went and tried them on. I was so glad I had not written the check for the balance. When I put them on the prescription was nowhere close to correct. I asked to talk to the doctor since the staff was so rude. He wasn't available so I asked for a call from him. I am still waiting on that call. I have used my annual insurance benefit, missed 4 hours of work including drive time and don't have a pair of glasses or an explanation as to what happened. read more

I walked in randomly after driving by bc I spontaneously wanted to get my eyes checked as it had been too long since I had an exam. Dr. Nguyen and his staff (Stephanie + Isaac assisted me throughout the beginning to end) are so friendly and helpful being able to answer all my questions. I ended up needing new contacts and glasses bc my RX had drastically changed, but everyone made it super easy!
