The very bottom of a very small barrel. Despite their adverting spiel that they are "the top-rated employment agency . . ." there is a significant difference between what is advertisement and what is fact. I set-up an appointment to meet with a rep from Robert Half's downtown San Diego office. However, when I arrived for the appointment the rep mysteriously "was not in the office that day" despite having deliberately set-up an appointment for same. I subsequently met with "Jason" and proceeded to have a typical meet/greet interview. He received my CV and related materials and suggested that I also reach out to another of RH's branches as an introduction, which I did. A full week later I finally received the online application process which Jason had advised would be coming "shortly" after our meeting. I then learned that part of this application process involved providing full SSN info over the Internet to be stored by a 3rd party. I contacted the office's receptionist, Anita R., and advised her that I was uncomfortable (i) providing such info over the Internet and (ii) having it stored by a party other than Robert Half. After some hemming and hawing, Anita advised that she would get back to me to see if there were other options. She never responded. Some days later, I once again contacted their office and this time spoke with another of the RH reps who, like the receptionist, advised that she would reach out to find out if there was any alternative method of completing the app/providing the info. Once again, neither the rep nor any other of RH's staff responded to me. Does this sound like the sort of organization a competent candidate would want to have representing them to a potential employer, much less have handling their confidential information? I don't think so. Zero stars. read more

My experience with the Downtown Office Team branch could not have been better. The staff, from the receptionist to the account managers, were supportive and professional from the start. Upon interviewing I felt they understood and took into consideration both my administrative and accounting experience. Within less than two weeks they had found me a placement that was a perfect match. Throughout my time with Office Team I received timely feedback to all my questions, concerns, and special requests. They also took the initiative to periodically check in with me to make sure I was truly satisfied with my placement. Even though the initial pay was less my recent payment history, I was willing to work hard, put in the time and energy, and prove my value to the company I was placed with. I was soon rewarded with a permanent position. I could not have found my current job without the resources provided by Office Team. Whether you are new to San Diego or transitioning jobs/career, I strongly recommend using Office Team - Downtown branch for your employment assistance needs. read more

I would like to express my gratitude to Robert Half/Accountemps, Juan Saldana and Beth Wakefield. They are dedicated professional who went above and beyond when finding me a new career. I contacted Juan after finishing school about joining there temp database. He immediately responded with a call back and was genuinely excited about finding me a job. After some initial correspondence and test taking, I was asked to come to the office to meet and see what MY expectations were. We talked for awhile and then I was introduced to Beth. They both assured me that jumping back into the workforce would not be a problem and that there were ample opportunities out there for me despite being fresh out of school and going back to full time work. Sure enough one interview later and I have a job. I tried other staffing agencies (at least 3), Indeed & craigslist to no avail. KUDOS to Beth & Juan you are the best. Never once did I feel like a number in a bowl. Please look up these two wonderful people if you are in search of results. read more

After being laid off from a tenured position due to a law firm merger, I contacted Robert Half Legal. In the months that followed, Katie, Victoria and Laura placed me in several temporary transactional positions that added much value to my experience, and to this day, I still carry them on my resume. In 2013, Katie placed me in a temp to hire position, and I was hired. I was laid off again a year and a half later, and once again, RHL gave it their best shot. The market was finally improving, and I landed a great job almost a year ago. I still receive emails from RHL employees, and spoke with Nayeli this week to tell her where I am now. She loved that I'm now employed and happy, and I let her know that RHL was part of the reason I did not fall apart during those turbulent years. I felt supported and encouraged by them. They always worked hard for me, and I can't thank them enough for buoying me during those hard times! read more

The OfficeTeam staff met my employment needs on two Temp to Hire positions. Sadly the first did not workout after 9 months of employment. After some time in Brazil to reset and recharge, Victoria G. brought me into her new office, listened to my concerns, shared in my successes, challenged me to consider different fields and opportunities, genuinely cared about my next placement and ultimately put me in a position which met my job requirements Easy to contact for office conversations as well as via email correspondence. The team, I feel, is genuinely concerned in smart placements, not just getting a body in a desk, but actually taking the time to look at the full picture: who am I as a person, what can I offer an employer, what are my needs more than just a paycheck, who is the company, and what can they offer me as an employee. I strongly recommend Victoria G. and her dedicated staff. read more

I got laid off from a full-time job a little over 2 years ago and decided to stop by the OfficeTeam downtown office for some temp work. They were very friendly and professional from the start, and soon after the interview I got my first assignment. Over the past two years the downtown branch has regularly sent me on interesting and varied assignments. Although there are several branches in the city, I have had enough assignments from the downtown office alone to keep me busy. I have established a good working relationship with the staff who are warm, caring, thoughtful, and most importantly, exceptional at finding me quality work. I enjoy the diversity of assignments and plan on continuing to work for OfficeTeam for a long time to come. It has been a rewarding experience. read more

I had the pleasure of working with both Victoria Firestone and Victoria Guzek at OfficeTeam powered by Robert Half. I felt comfortable being in their hands and confident knowing that they were supporting me in finding great career opportunities and assignments. I highly recommend that you connect with OfficeTeam to help you navigate when searching for a career. In my experience, I was asked to paint the perfect picture of what I would want my next ideal opportunity to be - They listened to me, did their research, and presented options that aligned with my vision. They didn't just throw options at me "just because." They wanted to ensure that we were all on the same page. Thank you for all your support Victoria F, Victoria G, and OfficeTeam community! read more

I was looking to move to San Diego and was seeking a position with a Company that I would be an asset to. I sought out Accountemps, as I have had great success with the Company in the past. It was only 2 weeks after I re-located to San Diego that I was places with a firm just a few miles from my home, that is a perfect fit. The staff at Accountemps go above and beyond to find you the right fit and are always there for me should I have any questions, or need assistance. The recruiters truly give it their all for their candidates. Juan Saldana and Beth Wakefield made me feel like part of the family and went the extra mile for me. After moving downtown from North County, I decided to check out Office Team. My husband had worked with Robert Half's tech branch before and had a really great experience with them. I started working with Juan and Jason in April, and so far they have not disappointed. I recently left a temp to hire position because it just didn't seem like the right fit for me. Juan was immediately available for me to talk to. He and Jason were able to find a replacement for the assignment within a week. They seem to really care about both their clients AND their candidates, just be willing to work hard and communicate. I am now on my third assignment with them, and am very happy. read more

Critical: Professionalism I'd love to give Robert Half Accountemps 5 stars. I've worked with good recruiters at Accountemps in the past. However, Hollis Wilson, is so unprofessional. She gave me wrong address on the first day of work. She also never gave the job description after I requested it from her. She told me that if I gave her good evaluation, she would give me another temp job. I was tricked to give her excellent evaluation and even excellent review on Yelp. So she was able to get promoted. But she never gave me another temp job. Fortunately, I found a permanent job myself. read more

Juan and Beth at Office Team Downtown, helped me to get my resume out there and I got a good job interview. I just finished working as a Head Line Manager at Comic Con Convention 2014. It was a position with managing responsiblity that met my professional qualifications. We had a lot of fun at the Comic Con and our whole team worked really great together. I also made contacts for future job leads in my career field. Juan and Beth were attentive to my needs thru the whole process, Thank you office Team. Looking forward to my next assignment. I had my information sent from Executive Square Office Team to Juan in the DT Office Team/Robert Half back in June 2014, After the Executive Square Office Team realized I live closer to the DT office. I have sent an email once a week to let Juan know I was available to work and even several phone messages to him, as of yet I haven't heard a word (no response to any of my emails or even call back...). Had high hopes for Office Team. read more

Domino Events located in Sacramento recently requested four temps for a short term assignment in San Diego. We were ecstatic when Sabrina Deeb was able to fill our request within 24 hours for a start date that was to start four days later. The hired temps were a delight to work with. The electronic time cards was an added plus. We will definitely contact Office Team in the future. read more
