This is a great practice. Everyone is nice, the office is always clean. I'm always confident that they've given me an accurate prescription (mine changes every year). Other local eye doctors I've been to are not this attentive. I am giving 4 out of 5 only because they won't give you your pupillary distance measurement unless you purchase glasses from their optical shop. In order to buy glasses online, you need that measurement, so Robbins doesn't give you that measurement when they give you your glasses prescription. This prevents their patients from being able to buy glasses elsewhere. I know online glasses sales are cutting into the profits of private optical practices like this, but most of us can't afford the $$$ prices of glasses from an eye doctor which is why I always order mine online for about 1/5 the cost of getting them at an eye doctor. read more

Charge $100.00 for a missed appointment fee! I'm writing to share feedback regarding my recent experience. Previously, I had a very positive visit-l came in with a concern about my eyes and was seen quickly. The exam was thorough, and the staff made me feel at ease. Everyone was professional and friendly, which I truly appreciated. However, as of 4/18/26, I'd like to update my experience. I had scheduled an appointment about six months in advance, and unfortunately, I forgot to add it to my calendar and missed it. I take responsibility for that. That said, I did not receive any reminder-no phone call or text-which made it much easier for the appointment to slip through. I was then charged a $100 missed appointment fee. While I understand and respect the need for such policies, the amount feels excessive, especially without any prior reminder. I hope you'll consider the feedback and possibly review your reminder system and fee policy. read more

Very knowledgeable and helpful! My husband had LASIK with Dr. Robbins probably 20 years ago and he still has good eyesight at almost 70 years old. Before LASIK he wore coke bottle glasses. I am in the process of cataract surgery and they have been wonderful . read more

Had a wonderful first eye appointment at Robbins Eye! I was in and out in 40 minutes time, and that is WITH my filling out all the new patient paperwork. The staff here is excellent, doesn't waste time, and did whatever they needed to to ensure I left with everything I needed. They also got me in as a new patient within a week of my initial call. I was on a tight timeline to spend dollars in my FSA, and am so grateful to the team here for getting me in. I left with an updated contact and glasses prescription, and my yearly supply of contacts ordered. Having coming from Lenscrafters and dreading every single drawn out, confusing appointment, this was such a welcome treat. They have a nice selection of glasses in their lobby (I tend to order from Warby Parker for my glasses needs so I didn't partake) and a different staff member to help you out with those. They take VSP Vision and I am looking forward to continuing using Robbins for all my future vision needs. read more

After hearing from a handful of friends who had their LASIK done here and theirs was over 10 years. I decided to get it done here. The staff was greats and very informative. The prepping before and after took the procedure longer than the surgery itself which lasted 5 minutes. My surgery is about 4 years old now and my eye sight is better than 20/20 now. This was the best thing I ever did for myself, no more contacts or glasses. read more

If I could take back one decision I've made in my life, it would be the choice I made to have LASIK surgery performed by Dr. Robbins five years ago. Since then, I've been suffering from a number of debilitating side effects - double vision, painfully dry eyes, halos/starbursts around lights at night, and very poor low-light vision in general. The double vision's the worst part in terms of how I function day-to-day, but what gets me down the most is the fundamental change in the way I experience the world now. When I look up at a clear night sky, I see a bright white halo around the moon. So the moon pisses me off now. That sucks, I used to like the moon. Over the course of two years after my surgery, I was repeatedly assured by Dr. Robbins and his staff that these issues were only temporary. When I finally expressed my frustration with the continued vision problems, Dr. Robbins' staff immediately went into damage-control mode, and from that point on it became clear to me that they just wanted to get rid of me while minimizing the chances that I would sue. I was repeatedly reminded that I had signed a waiver even though I never once threatened to take legal action. Based on what other eye doctors I've been to see have told me since, the issues I'm experiencing are partially due to my larger-than-average pupils, which are a major risk factor when it comes to LASIK complications. I was never once informed by Dr. Robbins or his staff that I was at a higher risk of complications than anyone else. To top it all off, the vision in my left eye has been slowly deteriorating even in good light since the surgery, so I wear glasses full-time now. I can't wear contacts anymore because of the severe dry eye caused by the surgery. The glasses do nothing to help the LASIK side effects. Every time I went in for another follow-up appointment where I knew I was going to be told yet again that my wrecked vision was no big deal, I couldn't help but notice Dr. Robbins' Porsche SUV parked out front. Apparently you don't have to be a good surgeon to become a wealthy one. read more
