Based on that information, I made the appointment, waited nearly three weeks, took time off work, and drove 25 miles one way, only to be informed upon arrival that I first needed an eye exam and that they would then decide whether to schedule a visual field test approximately three weeks later. This important detail was never communicated to me when I called and clearly explained what I needed. I am extremely disappointed with this lack of communication and the inconvenience it caused.

Surprisingly, they had a couple of openings that evening and told us to come right in. They only work with older children at this location ​but were quick to give us their recommendation​ for someone nearby that also takes our insurance and is great with younger kids, and then fit my husband and me in right away. The Optometrist here is probably the nicest Optometrist I've visited​, and in 30 years of wearing glasses and/or contacts, that is saying a lot. Eye exams are pretty routine and a lot of Doctors breeze on through but he was very thorough and kind. The optician asked me what styles I like and made recommendations based on what I asked him and stuck within what my insurance covered when I wanted to ​stay under that limit (I primarily wear contacts, so these glasses are replacing a much older pair with an outdated script that I only wear at home in the evenings) and did not try to upsell me. I managed to find a pair of glasses that were similar to my old pair but that I like better. Finally the woman at the front desk was amazing, not only was she super friendly and kind, but she was kind to my kids and made us feel right at home while waiting. We have definitely found our new Vision Care "home".

Then the manager walked up while I was checking in for a tele-eye exam with her and confirmed if I was there for such an exam and in an accusatory tone said "not with [health incurrence provider] you're not" as if I was trying to pull a fast one or something. 1. How do they know I'm not planning to pay out of pocket. It's not like it's expensive to get an eye exam, not to mention my insurgence covered the same exam last time I was there. 2. The website doesn't make you confirm your carrier when making the appointment mentioned so how would anyone know that before arriving? Then when I asked to schedule an in person appointment both the front end and manager acted annoyed and confused with the front end manager only informing me that the doctor was only in on Thursday in what had at this point been their all too familiar annoyed tone and staring blankly at me rather than trying to move forward to make an appointment. I started to try to figure out how to get them to help me before stopping myself and excusing myself to just leave the establishment, not wanting that treatment nor low quality of service any longer. Low end feel all around. I won't be back to this location and will be looking into other companies for eye care.

I feel like I'm right at home here. They do accomidate you, and your needs in a friendly manner. If you want a place to get an eye exam where you don't feel pressured, or breathed on by an employee-this is the perfect place. I rate them 5 stars for their hospitality, and the efficiency of their services. Shame on the 1-2 stars. I have been going here for a long while-take it from me!!!

I rebooked the appointment and she kept telling me my daughter's appointment was Tuesday not Saturday. When I was finally able to tell her I had just booked that appointment a few minutes ago because the one I was told was booked never got booked then she listened to after my blood pressure went sky high. Need to get my contact and move on. Will not go back sad because I actually liked the optometrist.

I looked around Yelp in the internet and this place was recommended as a best place in town to fix glasses. I popped in and it turns out one of the owners is the greeter. This is fantastic as for many small businesses the owners are nowhere to be seen. Right out of the gate he was friendly, happy, and wearing a really sharp pair of glasses (for him). I mentioned that I found them on Yelp and showed him my glasses. He was pretty sure it was an easy fix and would be done in a couple days for 10 or 15 bucks. To my enjoyment he called the very next day to say they were done. Got here a few minutes before my appointment and the place was packed. Not to mention that while I was sitting here to walk ins' came in just to check out the place. If you want a unique design and/or a unique design with color this is your place. Normally when I'm browsing around my opticians office, it's dozens of boring glasses that all look exactly the same.... gray, black, brown, charcoal gray, silver gray.... It is so very relaxed (her "office" is artistic, stylistic, comfortable living room feel) going through the process with Tamra. She works with the customer - does not dictate TO the customer - what works well (shape, color, frame material etc.). I love the frames we selected - they are incredibly unique, come from a small business in Italy, and are beautifully crafted - it really is a piece of art. People comment all the time on my new glasses - which I love to wear instead of having to rely on contacts every day. The service and commitment to the customer is what I would wish for everything I give my hard-earned money too. They are pricier than those typical mass-produced, boring standard glasses you get at optical stores, but it is so worth it for something that you will use forever - great value.
