I set up a nine AM appointment to get my eyes examined and measured for contacts. After my initial exam, I was informed that they didn't have anyone on staff to do the fitting and tutorial on putting in and removing the contacts, so they would have to schedule me for a different day. They then insisted that I had to pay $80 in advance for this new appointment. I don't understand why they scheduled the initial appointment for an hour and a half before anyone would be there to carry it out, wasting over and hour and a half of my time when factoring in the drive, and I certainly don't appreciate being charged in advance for the new appointment that had to be made as a result of the first mistake. I will be keeping the appointment I've paid out of pocket for so that I don't have to fight for a refund and start all over somewhere else but that will be the last time I use the services at Visionworks.

They weren't sized properly and hurt my head around the ears. I spoke to someone and they said that the best they can do is adjust them . They were very expensive. For the amount they charged you would think that they would have been fitted properly. Next time I will go to another place.

They scheduled me very quickly to get an eye exam, when I got there they were very attentive and made me feel comfortable during the whole process answering any questions I had and giving me information I didn't even think about asking for. It was excellent service from walking in, through the exam and when they helped me pick out glasses in my price range and gave honest opinions on how it looked. I couldn't have asked for a better first time experience! Can't wait to get those glasses and see again!!

This was a wonderful experience. The office is clean, well appointed and professionally staffed with friendly associate and opticians that made the process quick and painless. I will try to make this short, but thre was so much…read more First I was tild by my Option who refeffed me that it was free as my Health ins would cover Caterac surg, Which was partially true. It did not cover tge "special drops for eyes" about $100.00. Also didn't cover surgery center-$300 I went at my eye drs recommenadation. At my 3 or 4th visit Surgeon said because my astigmatism in both eyes a reg surg would not give me the result (no glasses) but for $1300 per lense I could get a toric lense (not covered by ins) implanted which corrects that.All had to be paid up front. I am retired on ssi and not a lot of extra money----but I said since I am only going to do this ONE time ok.After about a month both eyes were done With multiple eye dr appts copay is for specialist for eye drs. Anyway I did all this because I figured if no longer need flasses.... Long story short I went fo glasses my opt gave a script for driving glasses and needed reading glasses. This was not what I signed up for. I tried it-as I had no choice, but went back and told him-I could not my computer with either. Finally I went back to my optom and told I was NOT HAPPY & had to go back to Bifocals. He had a hard time fitting me and even worse his office didn't order them right for 3 trys. When I told him how unhappy I was his snwer was "Well, it; was surgery. You can't gaurantee results! i was ANGRY. I went then went to a new Opt who explained That I could see near and far but not mid range and because they put he toric lens in that will never change. He was able to fit me with bi-focals.I see ok with them. But now I had to pay exam AGAIN since my insur allowance was used. I HAD TO PAY FOR ANOTHER PAIR OF GLASSES! i KNOW THIS WILL NOT BE EVERYONES RESULT, but ask questions so hopefully you knw what you wil be getting into. I would not have gotten the"Premiuum" lenses had I known. Good luck

It is so very relaxed (her "office" is artistic, stylistic, comfortable living room feel) going through the process with Tamra. She works with the customer - does not dictate TO the customer - what works well (shape, color, frame material etc.). I love the frames we selected - they are incredibly unique, come from a small business in Italy, and are beautifully crafted - it really is a piece of art. People comment all the time on my new glasses - which I love to wear instead of having to rely on contacts every day. The service and commitment to the customer is what I would wish for everything I give my hard-earned money too. They are pricier than those typical mass-produced, boring standard glasses you get at optical stores, but it is so worth it for something that you will use forever - great value.

I did pay extra for pictures of my eyes, instead of going for dilation. The price difference was around 40 dollars but worth it in my opinion. They took me to the exam room where the doctor saw me. Quick exam and the doctor was very helpful. She explained the difference in my prescription since my last visit in a way I could easily understand. Did not get my glasses here this year, as I did last year and it was way over budget.

My husband, daughter and I are all patients of Dr. Guy and all agree that he's one of the best. At my most recent appointment, Dr. I, an optometry resident, treated my five-year-old and was fabulous! He was kind and funny and treated my daughter SO well - even in the midst of her eye drop-related meltdown. The office itself is in an unsuspecting Henrietta Plaza, but the waiting room is modern and bright. Can't recommend Family Vision Center more highly.

The office is practicing COVID safety measures and only allowing people with appointments in. They even keep the gate down. There is sanitizer everywhere and all staff wears masks. My exam was very thorough and I was out within 30-40 minutes including having to wait for my eyes to dilate. Every single person there is professional but friendly.
