My experience was more than disapointing. I will try to make this short, but thre was so much…read more First I was tild by my Option who refeffed me that it was free as my Health ins would cover Caterac surg, Which was partially true. It did not cover tge "special drops for eyes" about $100.00. Also didn't cover surgery center-$300 I went at my eye drs recommenadation. At my 3 or 4th visit Surgeon said because my astigmatism in both eyes a reg surg would not give me the result (no glasses) but for $1300 per lense I could get a toric lense (not covered by ins) implanted which corrects that. All had to be paid up front. I am retired on ssi and not a lot of extra money----but I said since I am only going to do this ONE time ok.After about a month both eyes were done With multiple eye dr appts copay is for specialist for eye drs. Anyway I did all this because I figured if no longer need flasses.... Long story short I went fo glasses my opt gave a script for driving glasses and needed reading glasses. This was not what I signed up for. I tried it-as I had no choice, but went back and told him-I could not my computer with either. Finally I went back to my optom and told I was NOT HAPPY & had to go back to Bifocals. He had a hard time fitting me and even worse his office didn't order them right for 3 trys. When I told him how unhappy I was his snwer was "Well, it; was surgery. You can't gaurantee results! i was ANGRY. I went then went to a new Opt who explained That I could see near and far but not mid range and because they put he toric lens in that will never change. He was able to fit me with bi-focals.I see ok with them. But now I had to pay exam AGAIN since my insur allowance was used. I HAD TO PAY FOR ANOTHER PAIR OF GLASSES! i KNOW THIS WILL NOT BE EVERYONES RESULT, but ask questions so hopefully you knw what you wil be getting into. I would not have gotten the"Premiuum" lenses had I known. Good luck

Great professional service. I've been going to Visionworks…read morefor almost 20 years. They have great service and competitive prices but most importantly, very professional, knowledgeable and helpful staff. They also have a great selection of frames and options for lenses. What's also very important to me is that they stand by their products and services and if there is ever an issue, they're there to help.

I set up a nine AM appointment to get my eyes examined and measured for contacts. When making the…read moreappointment, I made it very clear that I was looking to start contacts for the first time and needed to be fitted and everything. After my initial exam, I was informed that they didn't have anyone on staff to do the fitting and tutorial on putting in and removing the contacts, so they would have to schedule me for a different day. They then insisted that I had to pay $80 in advance for this new appointment. I don't understand why they scheduled the initial appointment for an hour and a half before anyone would be there to carry it out, wasting over and hour and a half of my time when factoring in the drive, and I certainly don't appreciate being charged in advance for the new appointment that had to be made as a result of the first mistake. I will be keeping the appointment I've paid out of pocket for so that I don't have to fight for a refund and start all over somewhere else but that will be the last time I use the services at Visionworks.

This is a love letter to Warby Parker…read more Dearest Warby, I have been receiving your emails for quite some time. I always open them. Never--not once--have I sent one straight to the trash without at least a glance. And if I'm being honest, it's rarely just a glance. I've lingered. I've admired. I've added frames to my cart only to abandon them at the last minute. I suppose I have commitment issues. Then one day, while on vacation in Orlando, Florida, I saw you. Really you. A physical location. A storefront. A tangible, brick-and-mortar dream. I could hardly believe my eyes (which, in fairness, were working with subpar equipment at the time). I even picked out a pair of frames while I was there, but something told me... not yet. Our story needed more tension. To be honest, much like that prince who keeps emailing me from Africa, I wasn't entirely sure you existed outside the interwebs. But I walked through your glass doors, met the loveliest associate, and discovered there was a location near my hometown. I gasped. Audibly. When I returned home, I looked you up and found you in Victor, NY. I made a date. You accepted. I picked out an outfit. (Emotionally, if not physically.) And oh... what a date. You were punctual. Attentive. And the way you looked into my eyes and saw me--I mean you really saw me. (Swoon.) My eye exam was smooth, professional, and dare I say... enjoyable? I didn't know that was an option. Now let's talk about Riley. Riley handled my pre-testing, guided me through the process, and managed the absolute chaos of a packed store with grace. Apparently, it was unusually busy that day--but you would never have known it by how smoothly everything ran. She made sure I didn't have to wait long after my exam, got all my measurements taken, and helped me finalize my order like the calm in the storm. Since I had already chosen my frames in Orlando (because of course I had--we love a slow-burn romance), this visit was all about making it official. Riley made that part effortless. And then... the gifts arrived. A box. For me. From you. Inside? Not flowers--no, no. Not the tired, predictable bouquet that wilts in three days. No. You sent glasses. Beautiful, perfect glasses. And sunglasses, too. Functional. Flattering. Long-lasting. Honestly, the kind of gift that says, "I see a future here." They are perfect. Truly. I may need a small adjustment, so I will be seeing you again soon (how fortunate for us both). I also have a friend who is quite eager to meet you, so next time I'll be bringing a plus-one. Try not to be too charming. Looking forward to our next encounter, Jen

We were beyond thrilled when Warby Parker opened a brick and mortar at Eastview mall. Previously,…read morewe would travel to Pittsburgh or Toronto to visit their shop. Great selection of modern frames always adding new styles. Tons of folks on hand to help. you can have an eye exam done there, but be sure to check if your insurance is accepted. After reading another review, we didn't check with the store but called our insurance company only to be told they were considered an out of area provider. You can always stop in to have your glasses tightened or cleaned while shopping at the mall. No pressure sales. Feel free to try on as many frames as you want - you can even select sunglass frames to have clear lenses put in.
