They have an excellent selection of frames. Do remember that if you don't see what you want on the walls, there is also a locked box of frames near the door. That is where I found the ones I wanted. Most glasses are ready very quickly, but sometimes they need to order the lenses and it takes a couple of days. If you need adjustments later they are happy to help. Glasses also come with a warranty, so if you scratch your lenses they will replace them for you at no extra charge. Everyone there is super friendly and helpful. read more

I went today for glasses and was waited on by Nina. She couldn't possibly have been any nicer, answered all my questions and I was out within 10 minutes or so. I went and ran some errands while my glasses were being made and 28 minutes later, I received a text that both pairs were done! Amazing!! I went back to pick them up, they made sure they fit properly and I was done.I literally spent less than 20 minutes total in the building! I know that this won't always be the case with everyone, but having gone on a weekday morning I am sure they were less busy than they would be at night or weekends. I was going to go for an exam but upon arrival, saw that the staff was still wearing the snot, spit, bacteria, and mold soaked masks. I do not want anyone wearing those disgusting, useless contaminated rags to touch me or my eyes and I question the intelligence of anyone that actually believes they provide any benefit. read more

The Eye Doctor here is very rude and disrespectful. He doesnt allow you a chance to speak or ask any questions really. He also is giving out just about expired trial contact lens and the others he are out of obviously under- stocked 2 of the 3 appts I had there werent appropriately confirmed once I arrived. And the second appt was made in office. The experience with the doctor was so bad that even as a first time customer I would probably NEVER go back to this establishment anymore any location. The doctor assumes that ALL his patients are the same and will mix lenses up so he makes you come back several times trying out trial lenses i one brand at a time instead of giving you several on a visit. read more

I am very disappointed with this eye shop. The scheduling for the eye doc side is scattered, the receptionist had been m.i.a. both times I came. I thought it was a fluke so I came for a second appt, and again I had to wait just for someone to show up to check me in! They're very nice people though. But at my second appointment also, the doctor didn't have my follow-up info that my specialist sent her, she didn't know what I was there for, and it left me feeling really unsure about the care I received! I went in to Eyemart about a half hour before they closed, right after my eye doctor appointment. I was impressed with their selection and their speed. I was able to get 2 pairs of "fancy" progressives for $200. Right down the street America's Best's quote was for 1 pair of basic plastic progressives for $200. I love the 24 hour turn around time and they DO adjust your glasses, despite what yelpers said. The woman who helped me let me look around for a few minutes and then came over to see if I needed help with anything. She was great and helped me pick something that worked for me and looked good too. Highly recommend getting your next pair from Eyemart. read more

Went in last night to get my son a pair of glasses. He is in a wheelchair and unable to help himself. Getting him out in public is a major amount of work! He needed glasses. The first person to even notice us was a man being trained who kept telling us he really didn't know much so we waited for his trainer to show up. It turns out that she was sitting in her car in the parking lot. We showed up at 5:30 to make sure there was more than an hour to make the glasses. After obviously killing a half hour with small talk and confusion on her part she announced. These will have to be made tomorrow because it's 6:00 now and we don't have an hour left ???? ARE YOU KKIDDING ME !!!!! I have NEVER had a worse customer service experience in my life. Was it because he is in a wheelchair or was she that incompetent? We'll never know because you couldn't drag me back into this store... read more

The special price they advertised is a small selection. BUT, I got two pair of progressive lenses with frames for $239!!! Unheard of! I even got same day service. The styles they have are nice and I'm very happy with what I selected. The folks working there were great too. I would without a doubt return for sunglasses or any other glasses. read more

Went here for the $29 deal for 2 pairs of glasses. I just needed something cheap to get by as my dog chewed up my good pair. As far as the glasses, everything was great. Walked in, picked out 2 frames (there was a very limited selection but I wasn't expecting much anyways), they charged me exactly $29 and in less than an hour I got a text that they were ready to pick up. I actually like the pairs I got as far as how they look. The reason for 3 stars is the service. The service was about 1 star. I walked in and 2 girls were sitting in chairs and didn't have much interest in getting up to help me. The worst was when I went back to pick up the glasses. I walked in and no one was anywhere to be found. I could hear people talking and laughing towards the back so after about 5 mins of standing at the front counter I walked in the back. All the employees were in a back room eating and standing around. They just stared at me and didn't say anything so I asked if someone could please get me my glasses. A girl followed me out front and got my 2 pairs. I let her know I was currently wearing contacts. She said "......okay?" so I asked if there was somewhere I could take them out so I could try on the glasses. She acted annoyed and took me around to the exam side of the building. She then said "there's the sink". I asked if she had a case I could put my contacts in once I took them out and she responded with "you mean you didn't bring any with you?" I said "uh no, I came straight here from work I don't carry that kind of stuff with me" so she searched around and found me some. They also don't offer to fit them or adjust them. They just pretty much say here ya go and send you on your way. So to sum it up if you need cheap glasses in a hurry and dont mind rude and lazy employees then this is the place for you. read more

Everything was great up to the point of picking out frames with the bigger woman at the Jefferson rd store. I felt rushed and she never mentioned insurance on the glasses which she added without my authorization. I work for customer service and in my business we have products that come with 1 yr free warranty for certain defects with the products and also insurance you pay for monthly or 1 time fee. The woman says to me that if I damage the glasses within a year I can bring them back and get them fixed but does not mention any price. I figure that it is a free yr warranty and when I get home I look at the receipt and see added charges for insurance, 2 of them, 1 for each glasses. Yes it's my fault for not looking at receipt and questioning it but it's her dishonesty for letting me leave the store with the assumption there was no charge for the warranty that made me choose to never recommend that place to anyone and that is first and last time i will do business there. She literally said what I wrote above and that was it. Also as I mentioned above she made me feel rushed when choosing glasses and basically lied to me about charges. Everyone else at that store was great! 1 person or interaction out of the many with 1 service can make or break a person's opinion and it def broke my trust in that company. This is a mixed review. First part: the doctor who gave the eye exam was great! I would return without hesitation for follow up exams. Second part: choosing a pair of glasses was a complete fail. After looking for quite a while the girl finally came over and said just pick out some pairs. No fitting of any sort was offered. No direction of where to look for eyeglasses for me was given. After about 50 minutes I had finally chosen a few pairs I thought would work for me. Again, no fitting was offered. I chose two progressive lenses one metal frame and one plastic frame and one single vision lens plastic frame for a total of three eyeglasses that I had picked out. I was told to come back in a couple hours. When I returned the glasses were ready. Both progressives were made way too high on the lens. I had to hold my chin against my chest and look up in order to see anything. Not good! I complained about it and was told they would redo one pair only to change to single vision or bifocals as they would not be able to adjust the height of the progressives any lower. I chose to have the plastic frames redone to bifocal. I came back the next day to pick up the bifocal. Sad to say the bifocals on each side were of different heights and one side crooked. Able to use but very uncomfortable on the eyes due to the straining to adjust to see through them. That was my one redo. Unhappy about them I was told that I just needed to adjust to them as they would not offer to fix them. Three months later the screws on the metal frames came out. They did replace the screws but a couple hours later they fell out again. After looking at it closer the screws they replaced were too small for the frame, and it seems the frame was stripped so the screws would not hold. I returned the next day and pointed that out. They replaced the frame. Also the old metal frame was turning green after only three months. Three months later the replaced metal frames started turning green so much that the skin around my nose and eyes were also turning green from the metal frames touching me there. I stopped in to point this out and was told by the same girl that "yeah, they're going to turn green. All metal frames will turn green." She showed no concern and told me there was nothing she could do for me. So I asked if she could help me pick out another plastic frame and if she could measure me for glasses so I can get an idea of which size to look for so I can get a proper fit. She laughed and said she can't do that because if she properly fitted me and I knew those measurements then nothing would stop me from buying glasses somewhere else. Guess what - that just convinced me to go somewhere else. If you choose to stop here I hope you have better luck than I did and I hope they treat you much better than how I was treated. read more

Eyemart on Jefferson Road in Henrietta NY not living up to what they advertise. I went in expecting glasses the same day. They advertise they take ALL major insurance. ...weellllll after i bought and paid for my glasses (almost 4x the 79 dollars they advertise at) now the glasses wont be in for another 17 days...... and they advertise they take All major insurance. ... they dont. The manager Ben was Awesome and professional. The two girls i delt with however were not they were actinng like children. So beware of bait and switch if i could get my money back i would and i would go elsewhere. read more

I went to Eye Express after Price comparing other similar businesses in the Rochester area and found their pricing , as advertised , to be better than the others . Unfortunately I found the people working there ( the one I went to on Jefferson Road ) to be either lacking in experience or just not interested in the customer . I also found the pricing , once my prescription was factored in , not to be that competitive . When I went back to pick up my prescription the young lady working the desk never tested my vision with the glasses on and never checked to see if the glasses fit properly . When I mentioned the glasses were very dirty and could she please clean them she informed me she had nothing to clean them with nor did any cleaning cloth come with them .
