Huge disappointment today at lunchtime. I ordered a $13.00 grill cheese sandwich and it was not edible. How can you screw up a grilled cheese!!!! They basically ran 2 pieces of bread thru the toaster, slapped 2 pieces of cheese, let it sit for 10 minutes then served it cold. But, the fries where really good. Then my brother ordered a potato knish, it looked really good on the plate, but the inside was still frozen. R&T has hit rock bottom, if this continues ,the doors will be closed by the end of the year. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm done with R&T. Was craving a nova lox bagel. Came by here. It's not my first time coming to a roaster n' toasters but it was my first time coming to this one. $15 dollars just to get two small slices of nova... a bit ridiculous and a burnt bagel. Ideal for breakfast or lunch, this restaurant opens early and closes early. Hours are 6 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Food is consistently very good. We have been here many times over the years, always for breakfast, and always at their original location which is in Pinecrest. They have opened 3 additional locations: Aventura, Miami Beach, and US1 just north of The Falls. I had the Eggs Benedict with a side of sliced tomatoes and my boyfriend had scrambled eggs w/ diced ham & onions, a side of home fries and a cinnamon raisin bagel ... Pricey breakfast! ... $43 total ... ($36 + tip) for 2 breakfasts & 2 coffees. The prices are NOT Kosher! ... haha! ... but the food is. If the prices were lower, then this place could be 4 stars. Breakdown of ratings: FAKE NEWS - 1 FOOD - 4 SERVICE - 3.5 PRICES - 2 PARKING - 2 ... Certainly not Roasters-n-Toasters fault, but the parking is horrendous. This is one of my favorite go to breakfast spots. This is my first time going to this newer location. And now I prefer this one it is a lot calmer and has the exact same quality as the other one. There is a lot of shops in this shopping center so I often forget what is in it. The place is very casual with a deli like feel to it. You can go to the counter and order items to go if you're in a hurry and just need a few things or you can sit down and be served by the friendly staff. If you come here for breakfast I highly recommend that you get an omelette they are huge and delicious. They are generous with the mix-ins so you can tell what is in them. This time I was able to convince someone to split one with me so I was able to get some French toast as well which was also great. I decided to add some Nutella to it to make it more amazing. I am very happy I came to this location and will continue to come here to enjoy an amazing breakfast. read more

I can't stress enough what a pleasant experience it always is to eat here at Roasters N Toasters. The service is always upbeat and polite and very splendid. We are always greeted with a smile and get helped immediately. We have yet to try a dish that isn't absolutely delicious, but I must say my favorite plate is the Reuben Combo. I absolutely recommend it! It's good enough to share with someone because it has so much meat! Their menu is a bit extensive and it can be hard to choose what to eat, but you cannot go wrong with the combo Reuben if you're a fan of pastrami and corned beef. I like to accompany that with a glass of cold coke and its perfection. I also loveeeee the complementary coleslaw that they bring you when you sit down. It is hands down the BEST cole slaw I have ever had. And for those of you pickle fans (not me) they also bring you complementary pickles with your cole slaw if you want them. Definitely give roasters n toasters a shot and you will not be sorry. So far I have been to their pinecrest location, their location just off of US1 and Kendall drive, and their Miami Beach location. Location opens at 7am, arrived at 7:02.... sat there for twenty minutes and no one took our order. There were absolutely no other people waiting, and there were about five employees there. This used to be my favorite breakfast spot, but it is going downhill and fast. I love that they now have an Early Bird special for breakfast, but 8 out of 10 times the home fries are inedible. They're either sour, rock hard, dry, freezer burnt, or completely flavorless. They can't seem to get over medium eggs right either. It's just not worth the money (and they are definitely on the expensive side) for inedible food. Oh, and now that they have Kids Deli preparing in the back of the dining room, the atmosphere is less than pleasant. It sucked And the male server was the worst server I have ever experienced! Food was cold, we received the bagels after we finished our meal! He never brought out coffee. We asked for eggs and onions ( no nova as shown on the menu) onions were raw and tossed into the omelette. Served without potatoes because we asked for a knish. He came back and said they were out of knishes. We asked why we didn't get the potatoes on the plate with the omelette and he said,"I didn't think you wanted two kinds of potatoes." So I have been able to try their restaurant and there takeout because my job ordered catering from them. Their catering is AMAZING! We always get chicken and waffles and holy cow it is so delicious! Fluffy waffles and well seasoned and crispy chicken! I tried catering before going to their restaurant so I was really hoping to try brunch at their restaurant. They get busy really quick, ended up waiting for like 20/30 minutes. The place was really big inside. My breakfast was so good and so worth trying! I was a little nervous about it but it was recommended by our server and i'm glad I took his advice! I got a cafe con leche french toast. All I can say is WOW! Coffee infused french toast, cream cheese topping also infused with coffee, syrup that had coffee, AND walnuts that were soaked in coffee. Terrible customer service and accountability. I ordered this morning on Mother's Day and it is over 2 hours later and I haven't received my food. I have called over and over and they will not answer their phone. I got minimal "help" from messaging their Instagram but their response is that they were not ready for the amount of orders today and that was it. I understand that it is Mother's Day and we are all suffering from COVID-19, but this is unacceptable. This location is pretty bad. They throw your order together without even truly checking never double checking anything in the bag. They use stale bread often and can't assemble basic things such as sandwich. Today 11/3/2020 all I ordered was a "B3" which is just bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. I ordered a whole wheat bagel as the bread. When I got my sandwich the bread was rock hard. This was clearly an old bagel that softened up when toasted but got dry hard once the old bagel cooled off. I order here regularly but will be going to Muffin Tin(it's in the same shopping center) for the foreseeable future. I hope roasters and toasters can get back to its old ways. read more

I came to visit because this place gets a lot of buzz as the bagel place to go to in the neighborhood. Big disappointment. On the bagel front, they only have three cream cheese types - how is that possible in the world of bagels?! The service was very poor (girl at the counter didn't have one desire to be there). And while the restaurant was only 30% full, I ordered two bagels to go and am 14 minutes into the wait with no bagels in sight. UPDATE: Took 19 minutes to get the bagels. This location just opened. It used to be Mitch's Bagels. The other Pinecrest location is always packed. This one is quieter. I guess because no one knows about it yet. Breakfast is huge!! I ordered an omelette which comes with home fries, grits or oatmeal and toast or a bagel. Took half of it home. Definitely big enough to share. It's also a deli so you can order deli meats, cheese, sandwiches, cake or pastries at the counter. They also have egg, tuna, chicken, cole slaw, etc. by the pound! This location of Roasters n' Toasters has never been great. After Mitch and his surly attitude departed, it became better under the tutelage of Danny and Pedro. Unfortunately, as with the other location of RnT (which I've been going to since their days in Sunniland) the food has gone downhill with smaller portions and reduced quality. My friends brisket sandwich was not close to the quantity that the pictures show, and the quality was not nearly as it had been in the past. My tuna wrap was delicious, the same as usual, but did not come with the balsamic dressing as it normally does so it was a bit dry. I ordered it as a spinach wrap, but there was no spinach wrap available so I settle for the regular rap, which was fine. I realize it was just a lunch and it wasn't the end of the world but I can't help but notice how the quality has dropped. French fries were ordered well-done and we're perfect. The one saving virtue was our very pleasant server, Carolina. I worked my way through college in the service industry and could not handle it today, with nasty, abusive customers, I would likely last 10 minutes. Very much very value and appreciate servers who are often overworked and underappreciated. That is why Carolina, the one bright spot of lunch today stands out! read more

For the first time in my life I was asked to leave a restaurant and all because we were taking to long at our table. Our brunch was lovely and the waitress was nice. We were having great conversation with a friend and we were approached by an employee who asked us to leave as they had a lot of people waiting to be seated. What a nightmare it was to place an order ahead for Father's Day. I had spoken to the manager and everything went great- until I tried to pick it up. I went to get my order and they had no such order for me- not to mention, you can't speak with a live person because their phone lines were cut off. We tried to call for a takeout order to help facilitate our order as we were on a time crunch. As we attempted to order we were placed on hold and eventually had to rush in to order in person. After new management that reduced the portions and raised the prices all who visit are tourist. I recently attempted a try, for the what once was, The best Cobb salad in town. The pastrami bacon is replaced with average bacon. The turkey which once was about a pound to my eyes is now a sprinkle. Avocados were not available. Even the salad dressing has been changed to one so artificial it ruined the salad. Well with all the competition surrounding this US1 location the regulars are going elsewhere.
