This is the place to go. I'd been researching a used car to buy for many months and had finally narrowed it down to the BMW 5 Series. This would be my first BMW purchase. I came across Roadsport when I was price shopping on a number of other websites (like eBay Motors) and was attracted to the quality, low-mileage, and price of the cars offered at Roadsport. The information I found online about Roadsport was great - a very good website and loads of reviews from other customers who have dealt with them. The best input is from folks who've bought from the dealer. So, I decided to check them out and made an appointment for a test drive on a very nice looking 2007 525i they had for sale. I was really impressed. The staff was low-key....very non-threatening and not your typical sales guys at dealerships. The owner of Roadsport took me out for a drive in the car I had my eye on....walked me through all of the nuances of a BMW. It was fantastic. The car was pristine. Indeed, they are very picky about the cars they sell. Needless to say, I was taken with the car - for price, quality and the low mileage. I was able to negotiate a little bit - but their pricing is pretty close to final - I knew what they offered was already below Kelley Blue Book and any other BMW dealer around. An incredible value. I signed the paperwork and walked out with the keys the same day. Very nice. Very professional. Definitely not your typical car dealer. I've had my car for almost a month - and have loved being in it every minute. Highly recommend Roadsport for your next atuo buy. My wife and I would like to post our comments as satisfied customers of Road Sport. We recently purchased a 2007 X3 BMW from Road Sport and we felt very confident that that we made the correct decision. After doing research, visiting various dealerships in the Bay Area, my wife's first impression was the cleanliness of Road Sport facility, the courtesy extended to us during the sales process, and the overall condition of the vehicle. Have to admit they made it easy to purchase from them. Frank, sales representative, introduced us to Clint the owner, and Anton their fiancé person. Everything seem to fall into place, we received upfront answers and really felt that there were no games being played. The biggest decision we faced was purchasing form Road Sport or another local dealership that had similar based X3's. After evaluating the facts we decided to purchase from Road Sport and I have to admit it wasn't' pricing, although they were very competitive. One of the key components was the added value that we would receive as customers of Road Sport during the length of time that we own the vehicle. Personally I have learned over the years that pricing is important, but it is not everything, and I do believe in service, and that is one of the value add features that Road Sport offers. They came through on everything that we asked them to do prior to taking possession of the vehicle. This review is long overdue, but my ongoing positive interactions with Roadsport over the past 2 years as finally motivated me to take the time and write a review for Roadsport! I bought a BMW 550i from Bernard back in January 2015 and had a phenomenal experience with him throughout that process. Roadsport has a broad range of primarily foreign sports cars that range from 20K - 100K+ and regardless of the age/price point, all of the vehicles are in great shape and are typically highly regarded models, years, trim levels and motors. You can tell that Roadsport is selective about what vehicles they add to the lot. Bernard is knowledgeable, transparent, approachable and not pushy in the least. He bought my car, sold me the new vehicle and regularly followed-up in the month afterwards to ensure I was enjoying the car and that everything was taken care of. Since I purchased the car I have brought it in 4+ times for various repairs and maintenance and Clint, Michele and the rest of the team couldn't have made my experience any better. They always operate with my best interests/wallet in mind and are very communicative with updates on the repair, costs for the required work and timelines for when I can pickup my car. (As an example, 2 weeks ago my car died on the way to a meeting in SF and called Michele from the side of 101. 45 minutes later and she had arranged a quick appointment with Stevens Creek BMW and a loaner car to boot!) I'm hoping to hold on to my 550i a bit longer, but when the time comes to get a new car - I will definitely be returning to Roadsport. It's been 4 months since we purchased our 2005 997 from RoadSport. This is a great place with a friendly relaxed atmosphere and no pressure. We went to RoadSport as part of our search to upgrade from our '84 911 Targa. We thought we'd move up to something a bit newer and a Cabriolet with Tiptronic. RoadSport didn't have what we were looking for but as we chatted, Clint offered to see if he could find one for us. He took notes on what we were looking: model, year range, color etc. He's very personable and a pleasure to deal with. After a couple of weeks, he gave us a call. It was exactly what we wanted, perfect exterior and top cover colors and we love the interior color. Very low mileage with perfect provenance - it feels new. We were shopping for a Carrera, Clint found us a Carrera S. He exceeded our expectations; we could not have done this well on our own. As an added bonus, RoadSport offered to sell our 1984 911 on consignment. It completely solved our dilemma of where to park 2 911s since we only had space for one in the garage. We also did not have to deal with the headache of selling it. We were pleased with the deal. He found a buyer from Germany and it is shipping out next week. How cool is that? It's going back to where it came from! The whole process was easy and pleasant. Their customer commitment also extends to any service later on. I spent several months on a west-region search for a BMW Z8. Roadsport had one of the finalists, with the others being in Socal, Oregon, and Colorado. I originally drove their car in early October and advised Bernard I'd be making some kind of purchase by month's end. There was never any pressure to buy...on the contrary, they respected my timeline and provided all information I needed. Ultimately, I decided to buy their car due to the condition, price, and their reputation. I held a few contingencies though. One was for a frame inspection at a local Z8 specialist. The others were to repair some nuisance issues with the CD changer being jammed and the radio working only intermittently. The last one was to have the paint buffed out due to some very light clear coat swirls. The frame inspection went well and the CD changer was also repaired. The radio is still an open issue but we're working to resolve it, hopefully within the next few weeks. For the paint buffing, Clint Sr. arranged for a buff and sealant process to be performed on the vehicle at no charge. For those not familiar, this is similar to the treatments a new car dealer will upsell you gladly for about $1000. Very cool. Throughout the sales and followup process, the team at Roadsport, Clint Sr., Clint Jr., Bernard, and Anton have all been great. Purchasing a near-new car via RoadSport was the best car-buying experience I've ever had. It is the prototype for a "white glove" experience, as Clint Ralls Sr. genuinely puts himself in your shoes in selecting, purchasing, detailing, and delivering the car to your exact specifications. The process started with a strong referral from a friend of mine and an indepth "interview" asking me specifically what I was looking for. In my case, I wanted a slightly used Audi A4 or S4 and Clint went through all the pros/cons of each model and trimline, providing both an education and some assurances he knows his vehicles inside and out. After about a week of looking, he advertised the car he found was a "10/10" because he would never "put his name on a car" that he didn't fully stand behind. The car he found for me was an "11/10" and the entire experience far exceeded expectations in terms of price, end product, and customer service. His colleague, Anton, who runs finance was an absolute pleasure to deal with and actually found the lowest possible financing for me, even though I had already done by homework and found 3 fairly low rates. Yesterday I took delivery on a car that is "used" in name only. It is spectacular. Clint Sr. took the time to find the right car for my needs and did everything possible to make it look, feel and smell like a brand new car right off the showroom floor. It is a 2010 VW Touareg with 13K miles on it. I cannot tell that it had ever been driven. Clint and Anton made the entire experience pleasant from the beginning. My previous experiences buying cars from dealers always left a negative vibe due to the games being played and the focus on their bottom line. I had been referred to Roadsport by a close friend who has bought three or four cars from Clint. It was immediately clear that these folks have a passion for cars and integrity in their operations. Not sure where these positive ratings come from. The ratings here were the reason I went there in the first place. My experience with this outfit has been exceptionally bad. Here are the facts: - Put my car up for sale under a consignment agreement with Roadsport 18 months ago. I thought the initial price was set too high, but "they know the market". Every other month I've asked them to drop the price and adjusted my agreed upon sale value to them so they could make enough margin. Always took multiple emails to make that happen. Result, the car hasn't sold after 1.5 years with them. In this period, the car has lost at least $5,000 in value. - I decided to pick it up because they are inept at selling. When I got the car back last week, it had done 4 test drives for 40 miles. The car was in perfect condition when I dropped it off. When I picked it up, I immediately noticed an issue. Took it to a mechanic and the clutch is destroyed. Not only are they not able to sell, they also don't take care of your property. The result is a $3,500 repair. Bottom line, if you want someone to sell a car for you or you want to make sure you get the car back that you left behind, don't go there. read more

I used to say that used European cars are a sucker's game. Sure, you get a car with beautiful interior, refined handling and distinguished looks at a substantial discount. But you always end up paying for it when the little things go wrong outside warranty. Most European service shops are part of a dealership and they want you to buy a new car. So I never walked away from a service appointment with less than $500 on my Volvo. So how is it that I ended up with a used BMW from Roadsport? To be honest, it was a gamble. I'd sworn off European cars after my Volvo, but the reviews here made me curious to check them out. Ten months later, I'd have to agree, the after sales service of Roadsport is like nothing I've seen before. For example, I just had a warning light come up, and mentally I prepared for a three digit bill. In my previous experience, that's the baseline for European shops to take a peek, let alone fixing anything. But Clint Jr. took the time to check everything over, fixed the broken taillight and charged the battery. Imagine my surprise when he told me to put away the checkbook! I bought my BMW from Roadsport last October. My experience was the best car buying experience hands down. Clint was honest, knowledgeable and courteous; great with the kids too. We looked at each other and exclaimed, "We've gotta check this out"! No one was around a first but Bernard caught up to us. Thought it was very important to write this quick update regarding a verbal promise that was made from Clint Ralls, owner of RoadSport, when we purchased our immaculate 2007 BMW X3, September of 2009. One aspect of the no pressure, no nonsense negotiation was to return the car to Roadsport prior to the vehicle going out of factory Warranty. According to Clint, he would personally deliver the vehicle to BMW, and have them thoroughly inspect it from bumper to bumper. Actually BWM fixed items that we had no idea needed replacement. Being my wife's vehicle she now feels secure that its running at peak performance, incidentally she loves the X3. Have to admit that Clint kept his word and the car was sent to the dealership and all repairs for handled. Nice to know that in today's volatile business world, that RoadSport has integrity, provides value, and will deliver on their word. Purchased my 540i from RoadSport just a few weeks ago. The entire process was smooth, negotiation was fair and comfortable, and the car is everything I had hoped for. After I purchased the car I noticed a couple of failed items that were not detected in the test drive. Once I brought these items to their attention the folks at Roadsport were eager to make the repairs with no cost and even offered me a vehicle to use while the repairs were being made. Once the car was back in their hands they realized the paint job on the hood was not to their caliber so they rented a car for me to use (I live 1-1/2 hours away) and finished the repairs and color sanded the hood. I had a great experience and I loved this place. I bought my first car (Z4 M) here in the USA from Roadsport and from what I can tell it has been a great experience. Clint (in charge of the place with his family) did everything to take the stress of buying a used car away. Each time I spoke with him, he was available, enthusiast and particularly capable of winning my thrust. And "thrust" is extremely important when you are about to spend several thousand of dollars in an used car. As for the car itself, Clint found me a perl that looks as new as an actual new car.
