They are pretty efficient at advertising, making it look all good and sorted out, and taking your money on the front end. Then, the moment you try to contact them (God forbid get any en-route updates), they don't answer the phone whatsoever, and in the off chance you get to chat with someone or talk on the phone (next to impossible), they don't know, have no way of contacting, super vague, and pretty frightening lack of professional responsibility. My fault for using them based on a search engine. Never again, and you'd be wise to avoid this place at all costs. read more

This company is extremely unprofessional. They will call and bug you 2-5 times a day. I was called names because I couldn't hear whomever called me so like any normal person that's BUSY AT WORK, I hung up. Next thing I know, I get emails calling me rude etc. This company will quote you one price to pull you in then raise the price afterwards. Honestly wish I could give 0/5 stars. read more

RoadRunner was great! My driver was wonderful he transferred my car from Florida to New Hampshire. He was right on time both ways and kept me in the loop. My car was picked up on a Tuesday evening and arrived Sunday evening. Driver was very polite and answered any questions I asked. He thoroughly examined my car before and after pick up and dropping off even in the dark and did a great job loading and unloading. He picked right up at my location and dropped right off at my house. I got my car back just the way I left it (besides a little dirty). I would recommend RoadRunner to anyone looking to get a car transported. Thank you so much for the wonderful service. read more

So, shame on me for not finding the Yelp reviews on this company before proceeding. Their "quote" was too good to be true. I received a "confirmed booking" for about $1200. The day after my car was supposed to be picked up (today), they called to say that the carrier increased the rate to $1500. They also said that the "confirmed booking" was only a quote and that that was spelled out in the contract. I reviewed the contract and saw nothing in it regarding "quotes." The staff was very short with me and hung up twice. And, the carrier they booked with was a one star carrier with a very sketchy history as well, Xpress Transport HPM Inc. I called to cancel the contract today so we shall see if that actually goes through without penalty. I have now signed up with Montway for pick up this week for $150 less with a trusted transporter. Good luck with your move; do your research; and avoid Road Runner. Cheers. read more

******** DO NOT USE THESE CLOWNS. Jack couldn't send a letter, how dare you have him ship a valuable car..... total loser all they want is to uncharge a outrageous fee!!!!! I've reported to ADOT and other local government state officials. Next is on to Attorney General so someone doesn't get ripped off. I cancelled last minute and called my bank to reverse any charges as fraud. read more

I was cheated by subcontractors (Sample Trucking company) - they asked to pay in cash and I used to trust people (my mistake). After that, I was charged by card and subcontractors just deny the fact I gave them cash. I thought such an experience is in the past. But no. It is here. Probably because Roadrunner doesn't have any filters for subcontractors. The company tried to give a call to them and that's it. They are taking 1/3 of the price just to connect subcontractors and a client. No warranty or client protection. I would recommend you to go with a little bit more expensive buy reliable company. Subcontractors quality was really-really bad - worst experience ever. They just drove away. (not even close to door-to-door experience) read more

Great service, timely pick up and delivery and they took very good care of my classic car.

I want to rate ZERO STARS for this company if able. I don't usually write bad reviews for goods and services, but this is definitely one of the worst kinds of service I have ever had throughout my entire life!!! Due to the Covid-19 crisis, the company placed the quote for me to ship my car from San Diego to New York City for roughly $1600 at the beginning. I do understand that the price is over average market price, but I tried to believe that RoadRunner would provide me an excellent shipping experience. However, little did I know, incidences occurring in the near future ruined my expectations of the company of all sorts. First, the company delivered my vehicle 4 days later than the latest delivery date estimated, making me wait for the car to arrive at my place for 2 entire weeks. I did reach customer support employees easily, but they kept making empty promises repetitively to me about bringing my car to my place within the expected delivery date. When the vehicle transportation time took longer than expected, those employees began saying that the company cannot guarantee my car to be delivered on time. Such an inconsistency from the customer support only shows that RoadRunner not only does not show any respect to their customers but also avoids the legal responsibilities of their provided services. Second, despite myself paying extra money for below-average service qualities, one of the drivers also stole my used Dior Sauvage perfume worth $90, knowing that RoadRunners charged me an extra $130 during the middle of the shipping process. Having a hectic shipping experience is already frustrating and disappointing at the same time, and getting my personal belongings at a fair price stolen only makes it even worse. I do understand that the company has difficulties keeping up their normal standards of service qualities due to the pandemic, and my shipping experience clearly does not represent the experiences for all customers in the future or of the past. Nonetheless, if the company still keeps treating customers like the way they did to me, I am worried to perceive an expandable path of them. read more

I would not use this company. My car was scheduled for pick up on 1/3/24 which did no happen. After 1 hour on hold to speak to a service representative I was told they had no carrier available and the date for pickup was not guaranteed , not that I was told that when originally booking, The person I spoke with on the 3rd was rude and she made me feel that I was the one who was in the wrong. After being told today 1/5/24 that they wouldn't know until Wednesday if they got a carrier I went ahead and booked with another carrier. I left a voicemail message that I want to cancel, then not 5 minutes after leaving that message I received a text that they now have a carrier, well too late. Their cancellation policy is $135 fee if canceled within a 24 to 48 hour period. I will definitely fight that charge since I was told they had no carrier. If there was a zero rating it would be a definite 0 read more

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. All these horror stories are true- I know that because I had the same experience. No communication, no accountability. My car was delayed being picked up (no call) and it was almost a full week late getting to its destination. No calls, no accountability. I would never use this company again. NEVER. I actually can't believe they are still in business. read more

No call, no show! Company will not answer phone! Had to scramble to find another car company! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!

I rarely post reviews -- but this is one experience that I could not let go. I arranged to have my car picked up in NY for transport to Denver. The pickup date was 6/25/20 at the latest, since I was leaving a couple of days later to travel by air. The sales rep was very responsive and supportive, never did I have any indication that there would be a delay or problem with the scheduled service. As the date drew closer, I started calling for an update on my scheduled car pick-up and was told only that the transport was not yet arranged. I made arrangements with a neighbor to hand off the car with Roadrunner after I left - but still no word from Roadrunner. NO CALLS, NO FOLLOW UP, NO SERVICE!! Finally, after several weeks of waiting in Denver I cancelled the service. Now I have a car sitting in my driveway in NY as I shop for short term leases in Denver. Do NOT use this company!! read more

The worst company I have ever had to deal with. Absolutely no communication, awful customer support, and awful drivers who won't contact you or answer their phone. If at any time you need to make an adjustment or change parameters THIS IS NOT THE COMPANY FOR YOU. They assigned a carrier that had 48 out of 50 1 star reviews. It was impossible to speak with an actual person. The online correspondence was cookie cutter and was clearly not an actual person. I received a notification Of a new carrier 5 days after my scheduled pick up date. I tried to call the number to cancel and no one answered. Someone finally called. When I tried to state my concerns the person on the phone cut me off and asked If the car still needs to be picked up. When I said no. He said ok I'll cancel the reservation and hung up on me! Don't trust this company with your car! read more

STAY AWAY! What started to be a good experience (reading their website and seeing reviews) turned into a NIGHTMARE. Booking was done on July 26th for August 14th pick-up. On the 14th when we emailed, we got no response. We called and got put on hold, then disconnected. This went on for 4 days. And still no email returns. There is no customer service. There is no person to talk to. When you get on chat, they keep moving you from one agent to another and never give you a straight answer. Glad my husbands credit card was lost and he had to cancel it before they took all our money! TERRIBLE company. Stay VERY FAR AWAY! read more

Absolutely horrible customer service. Can't talk to a live agent. They lied about the pickup date, won't refund my deposit so I can cancel. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!! read more

Never do business with this company. These people are disgusting. They do not come in time or keep their commitment. No sense of urgency. Lackluster in their attitude. It'll drain your energy and resources. read more

Absolutely abysmal company. I spoke to many transport services. Chose one cheaper than Roadrunner originally. They played bait and switch on pricing as I read was common. I went back to Matthew B at Roadrunner who assured me "the difference between us and others is we give you a guaranteed price, period". So I chose them and filled out the paperwork. Issue 1) we waited nearly 2 weeks for a pickup (but it's a Covid world, so that's fair) Issue 2) They finally confirmed pickup, etc. However the price had increased another $600. They broke their promise, and told me in essence "this is the best deal you're going to get, we don't guarantee, take it or leave it". I said I wanted to my original price. They hung up on me. My rep who was so pleasant during the courting process never called me back. If I could give them 0 stars..... read more

Do not use this company! They are inconvenient and not helpful. They want you to work around them and they are bad about picking up their phones. They are rude and not sympathetic. I really hope this company gets shut down so that no one else has to deal with the head ache and inconvenience that happens when you try to work with these sad excuses of people. Also, what they post on their website about ratings is deceiving. On the better business bureau website they have a 1.92/D+ rating. Even if people have booked in advance they still face the same problems listed above. read more

I WOULD NOT recommend Road Runner Auto Transport. I believe they use deceptive business practices. When I went online to book my vehicle to be transported, I was given a quote of $695.00 I called to confirm and I was told by Anthony H that the price is actually $869.00 and I finally accepted. Anthony stated I would be contacted by the carrier one week prior to schedule date of pick up. This was done over one month prior to scheduled pick up. Six days before scheduled pick up I still had not heard from carrier and none was scheduled. I called and had to be on hold for approximately 30 minutes before someone came online. The person informed me if I did not hear from someone within the next three days to call back. I called again and had to wait another 30 minutes before someone came online. Liz now stated NO CARRIER is scheduled until 48-24 hours prior to pick up. This was on the Friday prior to schedule pick up of Monday. Sunday the business is closed so I called again the next day. Again another 30 minutes later, I spoke to Liz and she stated still no carrier assigned and I would now have to wait now until Monday, the day I was scheduled to have my vehicle picked up and she would call me. On Monday I received a text a carrier was assigned and to call dispatch to confirm. I called and I was informed the price is now $995.00 and IF I DID NOT AGREE THE CARRIER WOULD NOT PICK UP the vehicle on Tuesday the day after I was originally scheduled. BE WARE. read more

I did not have a good experience with Roadrunner. I was Quoted a high price to start and told that price was guaranteed. When I called back one day later to schedule the transport the price was almost $300 more. After I reluctantly accepted that price I received another call saying that carrier canceled and I was now told the cost would be over $2,700! I canceled at that point and found a legit honest company to transport my vehicle. These companies are ALL brokers so you have to be very careful. read more

This company is a complete joke! First they gave me a quote for one price then called and mentioned it was going to be $300 extra. I caved and went for it and once I paid they went MIA, I had a due date for the car to be picked up and they assured me it would happen, the day of I was assured over and over that someone would come and get the car and no one ever did, nor did I receive a call. I do not recommend this company at all, they are very nice until the payment processes and then you just become a hostage. read more

I shipped my car from Atlanta to Kansas. Here are the list of things that went wrong - Firstly, the car was expected on Saturday - I got a call from RoadRunner on Friday and they informed car is on track for delivery on Saturday. Saturday at evening 6:00, I gave a call to check the status of delivery. RoadRunner call service is not available at that time and I have no clue about the status. Sunday also no service from them. "Bad Customer Service". Secondly, I gave call to RoadRunner on Monday (ideally, they need to call me) but ok - after my call to them, they somehow got me connected to the transport guy and he said the car is expected in between 7:00PM and 9:00PM and I said ok. He gave call 9:30, 10:00, 10:30 and updated car is 10 minutes away and finally at 11:00 - as it is getting late, we will deliver tomorrow morning. "False promises" Finally, the best of all - the car arrived on Tuesday Morning. The payment for the transport was completely deducted from Credit Card but I think the driver was updated that I will pay with cash on delivery. I updated about the deduction, he was disappointed and started calling his boss and had fight with his boss for 2 hours - keeping me on the road and by holding the car keys with him.The only decent part from driver was- sorry sir, please wait - please wait.. I think, I justified my 1 star. Never again with RoadRunner Auto Transport. read more

This has been a nightmare of an experience. Road Runner's sales staff sold me on the service, promising my truck would be picked up in two days and delivered by the following Mon or Tues at the latest. It was a fiasco from the beginning. The shipment was assigned to a carrier, the carrier kept delaying pickup. 6 days of delays and excuses. In the meantime, you can't get a person to help you at Road Runner. They will put you on hold indefinitely and ignore your calls. "Management" will say they will call back and then do nothing. I've literally been waiting four days for a call back from one message. Ridiculous. In the meantime, I've paid Road Runner for a service and they haven't delivered. My truck hasn't been picked up. No one at Road Runner will speak to me. I've now been forced to issue a dispute with my card company since Road Runner has charged me for a service they have not performed. read more

Stay away from this company! They are absolutely awful. I booked my car to be transported from NY to Nevada a month in advance. They were supposed to pick it up on the 23rd but showed up on the 26th. They state that pick ups and drop offs are estimated times. Can't get anyone on the phone. You are put on hold and and they tell you to go to their website with questions, then they disconnect the call. The agents just use a script to pacify the customer. The day after they picked up my car the billing department called to tell me my card did not go through. Really? A couple of weeks after receiving my car I received a follow up call to ask about my experience with Roadrunner. Well the agent didn't like what I was telling her and hung up on me. I repeat....Stay away from this company. read more

This company is horrible... I was told the driver will call me a few hours before they pick up my car and that has not happened... Their office closes at 4:00 today ( Saturday) but their answering machine gives you their website to view your shipment or to have a "Live Chat" However, there is NO LIVE CHAT , I could only leave a message and wait for a response... as of now I still haven't received a response from anyone... I'm very concerned because my bank sent me an email for a FRAUD ALERT concerning their debit of $1,20.00 !!!! And now I don't know if they pulled out my money and my car will never get picked up... This is so stressful... I could cry.. I would seriously recommend nobody ever use this company!!!!!! read more

They suck. Scheduled 11/20/23 for a pick-up on 12/10. Did not meet that simple expectation, but they sold me that they could do that date for sure. 9:17pm on 12/11/23 the driver arrives. Doesn't speak any english, because he just arrived a month ago from Russia. Likeable guy doing his best. He however is pissed at his "lazy ass dispatcher from Cincinnati". This all through a translation app. So we're passing the phone back-n-forth, while standing 2 feet from each other. He said he was going to Savannah to try and drop off a Jeep for the 2nd time. Apparently, the dispatcher did not notify the owner and the driver called several times to reach the owner himself. (I sense horseshit). Yet the driver said he doesn't like giving times for delivery, but it would arrive on 12/12/23. Well, it didn't arrive. Nor did he communicate this to me. I had to contact him at 7:20pm on 12/12/23. The inconsiderate thing is that I have scheduled people to put the final touches on this car. Road Runner just plays music on the customer service end of things. I've waited over 10 minutes on each call (4). Meanwhile the driver responded to my text in Russian. He was sorry, but his piece of shit dispatcher wanted to know if he could pick-up another car. However, the other car was not there to pick-up. So, the whole day from what I interpreted was spent in Savannah, GA. I said the vehicle better be delivered to Knoxville 12/13/23. He responded "Soon to Knoxville". That gave me the warm and fuzzy confidence. I email this "Ivonne Sosa". No response. If you look up V2 Logistics in NY. They have not contact number posted. Wonder why? Again, I hear music on the RR customer service number. On 12/13/23 shortly after 9am. I call again....music. Who runs this crappy company? Now I know they're all POS's. Avoid the misery. Money wasn't an issue. Oh and when RR / V2 is paying membership to the BBB. RR is paying them to say they have no complaints. And for John S, their customer service horseshit slinger. Don't even respond with you weak apology as I've seen towards other disgruntled customers. read more

This was the worst auto transport car company ever and the most anxiety driven experience!!! I hired row runner auto transport company to pick up my car from Florida to New York City they told me everything would be fine and that UKR elite transport would be picking up my vehicle when my vehicle was picked up it was given to a third-party company Luman's company which had name on the truck or anything When my car finally arrived very late at night in New York City a few days later. The driver was very scary He wouldn't give me my car unless I paid him $750 cash because I already had the money order made out to UKR elite the company Road Runner told me would be picking up my car. I was in a panic when he was driving away with my car. I called 911 and the police came when I Called Rd., Runner auto transport they had no idea who had my car. The police finally got him to release my car down off the ramp when I agreed to pay him through PayPal. What a frightening and horrific experience to know your CAR IS being driven off by someone whom you don't even know HIS NAME. he wouldn't give me his name or the name of his company until the police came. A police report was filed He damaged my car was damage done to the emergency break I brought it the next day to the order repair shop he filled the whole front seats and floor with all these grocery bags send's just stuffed everything in and on top of the brake Excelerator It was horrible. DO NOT USE ROAD RUNNER AUTO TRANSPORT. They were great, until they take your deposit (rest is paid to driver). Once they have your deposit, they are happy to ignore you or give you canned responses that mean nothing. Their online tracker does not work at all. Their customer service goes by that info. Interesting since they told me my vehicle was in transit but I knew it was still in the original location because I had called them right before calling Road Runner. They indicated there is no promise of an actual pick up date or delivery date. There is not an estimated window either. You may get picked up when you ask or days later (maybe more). They have no control over it supposedly. I guess they will not stop using unreliable carriers in order to provide better customer service. They are not open on Sundays. Apparently all staff members are senior supervisors because everyone I asked said they were and would not pass me to someone that may attempt to fix the issue. I called and cancelled the contract after they could not get hold of the driver (I waited 24 hours and they said they could not reach him) and he was already a week late picking up my vehicle (which was arranged one week prior to that). Order canceled as they are unreliable and have no concern about customer satisfaction. They said they would pass along my information to their cancelation department and I would get a call from them when they were able to respond (no ETA or concern). How interesting that I got a call from a potential driver after I put in a cancel order with Laura at Road Runner. Based on the lackadaisical attitude Road Runner displayed thus far, I am sure I will be arguing with them about a refund as they they hope I give up and let them keep it all. A week after I canceled and their "cancelation department" still has yet to contact me about a refund. I am getting hold of my bank to discuss fraud (failure to provide services that were paid for) on Road Runner's part. Again, DO NOT USE ROAD RUNNER AUTO TRANSPORT. read more

And then when we drove our car to where the traile/truck was parked it was obvious that our car was not going to fit. But he still insisted that he could fit it in and after 30 mins of trying, he said he couldn't. He just left us stranded. We were unable to reach anybody from Roadrunner for hours and finally when we did, they were clueless.
