Not a safe place I would feel comfortable to walk into alone. It doesn't scream clean and friendly either.

I had the grilled chicken sandwich and house salad with vinaigrette house dressing. She had the French dip and same salad. Chicken sandwich was charbroiled to perfection and topped with the perfect bacon and garnishes. I enjoyed every bite. Her French dip looked to be the perfect medium rare and came on a fresh French bread. My buddy and his wife both ordered the pork chops. 2 chops smothered in peppers, onions and the most rich gravy that could be a meal in itself. I had the bread pudding for dessert which was amazing....i can't believe I ate the whole thing!! Greta place, great service!!

Hmm, I found it interesting. it reminded me of air popped spinach that was very light and crunchy without a lot of taste. I believe I burned calories of the spinach just by chewing it! I encourage people to try it, just because it is so different. It makes a beautiful presentation. The steak was pretty good and the vegetable medley was delicious along with the salad. The next time I go, I will order the vegetables and the salad and try the toasted raviolis as an appetizer. The drive to Hawthorne Inn is beautiful from Eureka. Drive slowly and enjoy the serenity of the farms and beautiful homes along the way.

She did a good job though. Came here for our anniversary, and when making the reservation they ask if it's a special occasion, so we told. They never said anything or did anything special, no big deal but why ask. The first course was delicious bread and butter. And something else I'm forgetting. The one slice of bread they give should have been a warning sign. Between the two of us we ordered everything on the menu. Minus the wine/cockrails, we don't drink. I order a phenomenal lemonade though. I said "holy shit" when I took my first sip. The food was very good but the portions were so small I didn't feel like I could really establish if I liked something or not. It was unique food which is fun but i couldn't tell you if i found something new because there wasn't enough to appreciate it. It was beautifully presented and much of it was really delicious. The desserts especially. By the end of the meal we were both still hungry. It's kind of a rule for me if you're going to go out to a fancy place and spend the money you Really should not leave hungry. I would give this place 1 star for that alone but it's in a small town and I just can't. The peanut butter cookies they talk up at the end honestly felt like kind of a joke they were so small. It was literally someone's thumbprint size. You get one. We both looked at each other and laughed. We had fun but be prepared to go home and make a second dinner. Or there's always Taco Bell.

All of the dishes were interesting, imaginative and well-executed. The ambiance is that of an elite restaurant in a country setting, serving local game as part of its dinners. It's hands down our favorite location! The wood-fired pizza is always delicious, and the beer selection is fantastic. My go-to is the Hazy 636, while my husband never passes up a Helias. We love bringing our boys (they love the mocktails), grabbing a pizza and a couple of beers, playing cards, and just slowing down together. The atmosphere is what keeps us coming back. There's a beautiful indoor space with garage doors that open up when the weather is nice, plus plenty of outdoor seating surrounded by the scenic beauty of Defiance. We've visited the St. Charles and Wildwood locations too, and they're both great, but there's just something special about the views and peaceful setting at the Defiance location that makes it our favorite. The service at all the locations have been top notch Whether you're stopping after a ride on the Katy Trail, planning a casual date, or spending time with family, this place never disappoints.

The setup is casual--you order food and drinks at the register and then receive a text when your food is ready for pickup. When we went to grab our order, part of it was missing because someone else had accidentally taken it. The staff handled it well and quickly remade the missing items, which we appreciated. We ordered pizza, chicken wings, and a pretzel with cheese. Everything was pretty good and hit the spot after being out in the cold. The patio also had a live band playing, which created a really fun atmosphere. Overall it was a lively place with good food and a great vibe, especially on a busy event day.

The menu is massive, and they have a ton of margaritas and other cocktails (sadly I couldn't enjoy this time - had to drive). I tried the Camarones à la diabla and the enchiladas verde. Both were very good. The enchilada verde sauce was really tasty complimented the meat and cheese well. The camarones à la diabla was also delicious, and not overwhelmingly spicy. The portions are pretty generous, and our waiter was very friendly - the prices are also super reasonable. If you're in Eureka and want a good sit down Mexican restaurant, check them out.

She was attentive. I decided on a lunch taco salad. Reasonable price but it definitely fell short. This was the smallest shell I've ever seen and the ingredients were lackluster. I'm not sure how you are a Mexican bar but do not serve flights. I settled on a frozen strawberry banana margarita. It was just ok. Consistency was more liquid than frozen thick. . Overall visit was just ok.
