I was coming out of one of the Cisco buildings in RTP and saw Dave waiting to return car keys to somebody in the building. I was in a bit of a hurry so I couldn't chat long but I asked for a card. The next day I hopped online and did what you're probably doing... research. I was surprised that I couldn't find any reviews since he has a comment section on his website and a majority are from tech people. Since I was already on Yelp I called around some of the local brake and auto shops to get an idea of what this was going to cost. I knew I needed new brakes and some rotor work because of the pulsing when braking. I then filled out the quote request form on Dave's site and was contacted later that night. His price was very competitive and considering the convenience factor I decided to give it a shot. Dave showed up around noon on the day we had agreed on and I met him in the parking lot to give him my key fob. I won't lie, it was a little unnerving giving a stranger my key but that's part of the deal. Fast forward a few hours and Dave called me to let me know that my car was done and to come down to get my key. I was expecting the price to be a little higher than what he quoted since that seems to be standard practice in this industry but it wasn't! After paying, I headed to my car and the first thing I noticed was that he put my "heat shield" window visor back up after doing my brakes. I know this has nothing to do with a brake job but it does say something about the man doing the job. I waited a week before writing this review to make sure everything was still functioning properly and I still have no complaints. Details: 2008 Infiniti G37 coupe | new brakes and turned the rotors. I went to his shop to pick up my truck and supposedly he fixed it, but when I started to drive back the truck stopped out of nowhere! It almost got me killed. When I went to check on my truck to see what happened, nothing got done! There was no spar-plug or oil change, the fuses never were replaced and an addition to that my truck almost got on fire. He was paid over $700 for his services plus I had to pay $400 to tow it back to my house. He also makes YouTube videos (that don't help at all) for publicity to make money off of the less fortunate.
