Having a car transported cross-country is an oddly stressful thing to research and plan. Information online is odd, disjointed and opaque. Many reviews consist of people's horror stories. And the companies themselves largely don't provide a lot of info to distinguish themselves before you choose them. RNT123 really saved the day for us and took away the stress I was feeling trying to get my truck shipped from the west coast to the east coast. We had originally gone through a broker service that completely left me hanging without any scheduled pick-up...they missed the pickup window they promised weeks in advance. My broker explained how the system works and was honest about how best to seek out qualified carriers as I was shopping companies for comparisons. That honesty brought me back to RNT123. I explained the car was ready to go the same day. he said there was a possibility it could be picked up that same night -- and I didn't have to be there. I agreed to their terms and pricing. There was a down payment that I secured to my credit card with the balance to be paid to the driver in cash or cashier's check upon delivery or at pickup. I paid on delivery. We were told it would arrive within 7-10 days to the Bronx NY area from Southern California. It arrived In 7-8- days. Don't trust these crooks to transport your vehicle. I trusted these guys to transport my LC500 I purchased from Brooklyn NY and have it transported to Garden Grove CA. They dropped it off with font bumper damage and interior damage. I had paid over 80k on the car so i wad pissed! They also dropped off my car with way more mileage than when it left the dealership! So these crooks had to take it for a joy ride. These people don't care about your car. They only care about your money. I tried to put a claim with their insurance but these Crook denied everything. These guys are not honest and very unprofessional. There are better transportation companies out there to move your vehicle don't go with these guys. You have been warned. read more

Short version: Don't bother. Disorganized and terrible communication, start to finish. I booked through a broker, which was my first mistake. You never know who they'll hook you up with. I was moving my car from Brooklyn to Los Angeles. They gave me a pickup time and told me they it was a pain to get to my location, so I obliged driving to Queens to drop off the car. I tried to pay in advance so my father in law, who was receiving the car, wouldn't have to deal it. The pickup guy didn't know how to receive digital payment. I reached out to dispatch to figure out how to pay, and he gave me James' number. I texted to ask how to pay in advance. No response for a day. I texted again. No response. At midnight eastern time James texts me to let me know he's dropping the car off in the morning, a full two days before my drop-off window. I have to reach out to my father in law who now has to leave work to receive it. The next morning I again ask how to pay and get no response except a warning three hours later that if he doesn't hear from us in an hour, he's putting the car in storage. What? I call and he picks up and sort it out, but it looks like the car is going to be delivered late. It's fine, as long as it gets there. I get a message from dispatch that these clowns delivered my car to the wrong place. I try to text and call James, but he doesn't respond. My father in law has to leave because of work so now my mother in law has to receive the car. They finally sort it out and deliver the car. I'm not sure where they stored it, but a family of rats made a home inside the engine, did damage, and died. This is expensive. I reach out to my insurance, who tell me to get James' certificate of insurance and the bill of lading. I texted and called both dispatch and James multiple times over the course of two weeks to get these so I can sort it out, and they will not respond. I reached out to the broker, who requested these things, and they won't even respond to them! Do your research, folks. Don't get a broker and don't hire these jokers. read more

My car a 1998 Toyota Camry XLE original owner's had 44625 miles at pickup from Yonkers NY to Manhattan Beach Ca. on Jan. 7th 2023. Albert the broker & owner Five Point Auto Transport picked the transport company RNT123 transportation company which he claims was reputable, has an insurance policy for any vehicle losses & was used by him in the past. My complaints are the following; 1. My car's exhaust system was damaged in route & it appeared my exhaust was dragged by RNT123 transportation company on street payment and damaged causing car at delivery to sound like a motor boat see attached damaged exhaust stainless steel flex pipe. At delivery RNT123 driver Albert refused to give me my keys in order for me to check my vehicle prior to signing the bill of lading. Once I signed the bill of lading delivery driver quickly drove away. When I refused to sign the bill of lading unless I received my keys to check my vehicle the driver threatened to take my vehicle back to the shipping yard and I would be responsible for $100 per day holding costs. I reported my complaints to Albert broker the following day & broker Albert gave me RNT123 insurance company MDX - National transportation insurance company RRG, LLC (NTIC) . After 2 months of getting the run around by Albert broker & insurance company the insurance company refused to pay my $560 claim due to the fact that per insurance company RNT123 driver was not on RNT123 insurance policy. I asked Broker to get involved and make things right for the last two months and Broker was not responsive nor would return my calls or texts! 2. My car arrived with 28 additional miles 44653 than was at pickup 44625 as noted by delivery driver on bill of lading! 3. My vehicle was delivered in 11 days from pickup being towed behind a 1 vehicle flatbed truck which had another vehicle on it. Contract states vehicle to be transported & delivered on a flatbed truck! I am now forced to take legal action, report to the BBB & DOT! read more
