I had recently used ARAS transport to move my car from Irvine CA to Parsippany, NJ. It was a smooth transaction. Pick up I need the pick up of car on a certain date. Aras promised the pick up date and arrived on time. Most of other transports gave a window of dates, however Aras was ok to pick up the car on a certain date. The car was picked up on time. Drop off I was promised delivery within 2 to 3 weeks. Well the car came with in 7 business days. Exellent. I had coordinated the driver on the drop off point (As the car is transported in a big truck). The car was delivered in 2 min. Walking distance from my place and after office hours. Stuff in the car I had some stuff in the car mostly blankets and other are stuff. Everything came intact. Only one thing was asked to have visibility when placing stuff and it has to non breakable. Aras promtly responds. He is the main point of contact. The price is reasonable. The drop off driver did not ask for extra. As they brought my car safely and well before schedule I gave a tip. If you are planning to ship you car from Los Angeles or near by areas, to my experience ARAS is the best. The pricing is reasonable, takes responsibility, replies promtly. Aras was amazing. I called him at 8:00 am, and said I need to drop off a car for shipment to SF. He met me at a drop off site by 10:00 or so. He then told me he'd need some days to ship it as the weekend was close. He then called me Sunday to tell me it was shipping on Monday/Tuesday and I would have it by Wednesday. The car arrived on Wednesday. It was easy, cheap, and not stressful at all. Wonderful service. I'll definitely use him again. No run around. Great customer service. I have been talking with them for almost 6 months when I found out that we were needing to transport our cars... He ALWAYS promised $650 if it was off-season. Now that we were getting ready to ship both of our cars (in September-off season),he did the bait and switch tactic and now is trying to get $995... I cannot believe this! I heard about companies doing this out there... And if need be I can prove with all the texts that he sent my friend and messages on Yelp to my account! Why are there companies out there like this!? You cannot promise a price and then switch at the last moment! It was in WRITING on a text and message. That should be illegal! He said it wasn't under contract! That's the way he tried to get out of it! He also said he would contact Yelp and get the review taken down! What kind of fishy business is this? My dad and I are moving to Marina del Rey and I needed to get my dad's new 2016 Toyota Avalon from Palm Springs to Villa del Mar Marina where our boat is moored which is 144 miles away and a 3 to 5 hour drive depending on traffic. I didn't know what to do. We had to have his car out of here by Wednesday afternoon. It was short notice, one day, which had me freaking out. Plus my dad is really particular about his car so I had to make sure the carrier would take good care of my dad's car. I never have shipped a car before. I went online and found Uship. He called us several times keeping us posted on his arrival time. He was right on time. He throughly checked the car out, gave us the Bill of Lading and carefully loaded my dad's onto his car carrying trailer. Four hours later I got a text from Aras. My dad's car was in Marina del Rey. Aras sent us two pictures of my dad's car parked in the parking structure at the Marina. Aras left the keys with the Dock Master as I asked him to. I could not have asked for better service. I can't even summarize the excellent service arastransport provided for me. DEPENDABLE, AFFORDABLE, AND and most importantly AMAZING QUALITY service.Aras himself delivered my car ahead of time to the port and communicated seamlessly along the way. His service was personal able, he's the only one you speak to from start to finish. Got my car on the ship with a 24 hour notice. Working in the service industry myself, his genuine care and concern shines. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. One thing I have to share is to make sure that when you book with someone its nice to speak with the person that owns the business and does the transport themselves, as Aras does. That way you have a direct line with the person your doing business with. I first booked with another company that was a no show. In my last minute freak out I didn't know where to turn or who to trust. In the scramble of trying to get my car from santa barbara to long beach port to arrive on wednesday to get on the ships cut off date which is wednesday I luckily found Aras. He was open and honest when explaining that the car may not be able to make the cut off because the port usually doesn't add any additional cars after 12 o'clock that day anyways. ( He has a lot of experience with dropping cars off at ports. **EXTRA POINTS HERE, you want to have someone that knows what their doing.) He said that he would be able to pick the car up and drop it off first thing at opening on thursday. All I can say that he picked my car up from its location without me there with no problems and great communication letting me know he was on his way. I was so stressed after being completely ripped off by the other company before hand. I booked with aras and I have zero regrets. He amazed me with a phone call Thursday morning informing me that my car had made it onto the ship that morning, (after the cut off date) because they had extra room. ALSO because he made sure he was there the minute they opened to fight the line. I just can't even explain how nice it is to work with someone who is just as concerned as you are.
