First of all, I spent hours pouring through reviews of auto shippers. I have never in my life seen such low reviews, reports of sketchiness and bad service, so was uncertain of how things would go. AutZipper was great to work with. Even when I had to cancel and reschedule, Michelle was so kind and helpful. My car was delivered very quickly, in great condition, and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out! read more

This July, after trying to organize my move with two other shady brokers, I decided to call AutoZipper. Best move ever. Autozipper is absolutely the most honest broker in the business. Both Bryan and Michelle are super friendly and will bend over backwards to help arrange your move. They only deal with companies they have had good service from in the past. I was moving my cars from CA to ID and wanted an enclosed carrier. Michelle said she knew the perfect guy to transport my vehicles and had worked with him and his son many times previously. Michelle arranged to have my car (actually 2 cars) transported by Mike in an enclosed carrier. I was in ID already when the car was picked up but I had a friend hand my car off to Mike in CA. Mike gave us a couple updates via text on when to expect him for pick up. He arrived exactly on time. Mike kept me updated via text as he transported my cars and told me when to expect him to deliver. He arrived at my house on time and delivered my cars in perfect condition. Not only was Mike easily accessible via text and phone throughout the move, both Bryan and Michelle ensured me that if I needed anything or had any other questions, they would be there for me from start to finish. If you are looking to move your cars, just call Bryan or Michelle at Autozipper. They are the best in the business, I guarantee it. read more

I called Autozipper after finding so many other companies with sketchy reviews and experiences. I dealt with Brian. Top notch service and communication from him and the driver Nick who dropped it off. We expected our truck to be home Monday or Tuesday; it was delivered today (Saturday) 2 days early. Best experience--definitely recommend! read more

We chose Auto Zipper after extensive research that left two companies neck and neck based on price, reviews, and reputation. The deciding factor was that the owner had a trusted driver available for our timeframe. We were shipping three cars from California to Florida. Everything went smoothly until delivery. The trip took a week instead of the estimated four days. Using our cars' GPS, we saw the driver spend days in Arizona and Texas with no explanation. While no timeline was guaranteed, we had relied on the estimate and incurred extra rental car costs as a result. When the driver finally arrived, he wanted to deliver at 8 p.m.--too dark for inspection--so we arranged for 1 p.m. the next day. He then changed it to 6 p.m. Again, we accepted to avoid another rental day. When he called to say he'd arrived, he was nowhere near our home. He'd gone to a nearly identical address ending in "Terrace" instead of "Road," over 20 minutes away. We told him the correct address, but he refused to move the cars, insisting he could only deliver to the address on the bill of lading--even though he'd met us, had our phone number, and knew it was the company's mistake. He told us to call his dispatcher (after hours) rather than contacting them himself. To avoid more hassle, I drove to his stated location--only to find he had left for our actual address after all. By then, we'd reached the owner, who authorized delivery to the correct address. No one--driver, dispatcher, or owner--ever took responsibility for the mix-up, despite our contract showing the right address. Soon after, the driver called again--stuck at a locked gate. I had already warned him about the proper entrance for large trucks, but he ignored it. He then suggested delivering our cars on the side of a public road. When I asked why he could suddenly do that, but not deliver to our correct address before, he had no answer. Fed up, I agreed to take the cars on the roadside. The spot was 20 minutes from our home, forcing me to shuttle each car one by one in the growing dark. The process took over an hour. Afterward, I spoke multiple times with the owner and his assistant, who promised to "get to the bottom" of what went wrong. To this day, no one has explained how our delivery address was changed or why the driver acted as he did. All I received were apologies and an unfulfilled promise of a $50 gift certificate. To say I would not recommend Auto Zipper is an understatement. Their communication was poor, the driver was unprofessional, and the handling of our delivery was chaotic from start to finish. My advice: use literally any other company if you value your time, your vehicles, and your sanity. I will continue sharing this story to warn others away from the nightmare we experienced. read more

Another 5 star review for Brian, what a shocker! Brian and Auto Zipper were recommended to me by Echo Park Long Beach when I asked if they had any recommendations for shipping a vehicle from the other side of the US. I'm glad they recommended Brian, he came in absolutely clutch. From day 1 he was easy to get a hold of and kept in constant contact with small check ins once my vehicle was shipped. What's even better is the seller of the vehicle I purchased even commented on how professional the driver who picked the truck up was. Commenting that he even noticed a dent which was repaired by a PDR guy but could tell that the reflection of lines didn't perfectly match up and pointed it out. A true professional! I received my vehicle ahead of schedule, without absolutely no issues on a 2,000 mile trip across the US on an open top truck. I can't recommend Brian enough and I'll be back soon to ship a motorcycle from my dads house in Georgia. read more

This is for anyone who is looking for reviews for AutoZipper. I used them to transport my car from Maryland to Minneapolis. I was so nervous about shipping my car, as I had heard horror stories. We recently contacted Brian and the AutoZipper team to ship our car across the country from CA to NJ. From the very beginning, Brian made it clear that we were valued customers and not just "another car on the truck". Other larger auto shipping companies spammed us with emails and calls about why they're the best, but never actually took the time to understand our situation or get into the details of our case. "The big guys" weren't even able to answer any of our questions because they didn't know which transporter would be picking up our car. Brian and AutoZipper works with just a few select drivers and knows them personally, so all of my many questions were answered quickly. The drivers for both pickup and delivery were very friendly, thorough, and treated the car with care. The price was reasonable, the service was excellent, and the delivery was quick. i was hoping to use auto zipper services seeing that they have 5 stars but now sure how they live up to that. I have been trying to get a hold of someone from auto zipper for over a week. Hi Brian, I called the number directly from Yelp. You did respond to my first call about a day or two later. You were very pleasant over the phone and nice to speak to. I don't normally write reviews, but Michelle at AutoZipper earned it. I contacted them without any knowledge or experience of transporting cars and with a relatively short window of time to arrange transport, and Michelle helped me through the entire process from start to finish. I was seeking something reliable, honest and reasonably priced (I believe you get what you pay for), and Michelle provided all of the above and more. There was no pushiness, over-promising or annoying follow-up calls, voicemails or emails. And throughout the entire process, she was easy-to-reach. This alone warrants a great review, but without going into too much detail, we were dealt a small complication upon delivery that others would've ignored or brushed off, but Michelle truly went above-and-beyond to see the problem through, despite it lasting weeks after. And with that, AutoZipper has earned a permanent customer. Thanks again Michelle. read more

My husband & I recently purchased a car in NC and needed to transport it cross-country to CA. I researched  transport companies and brokers on Yelp, Google & Reddit and found AutoZipper to be a credible and reliable broker based on the reviews. Michelle from AutoZipper provided me with a comparable quote right away (I shopped around for quotes with at least 5 other companies). She assured me that the drivers they would be contracting for my car take great care and have worked with her for the past 10 years without any issues. I was given a 2-day window for pick-up (Mon or Tues). The driver picked up the car within the specified timeframe on Monday and delivered the car to us in CA the following Monday! I was initially nervous about the entire process since this was my first experience with cross-country transport but was thrilled to have received the car in 7 days with no damages or issues! Their customer service is unmatched! Michelle was very responsive, transparent, cordial and professional. She frequently communicated with me via text to provide me with status and always kept her finger on the pulse to be sure the dispatch team and driver were communicating with us for pick-up & drop-off. I had the peace of mind of knowing that she was on top of everything and would definitely recommend AutoZipper to anyone who needs transport services! read more

I really appreciated the quick and open communication Brian held with me--I've never met someone so kind and willing to help in any circumstances. Ive already referred 3 people to use this company for their shipping needs because I am always looking to keep good business IN business. Brian is a gem- he is super nice and professional, he just has a kind energy - EVEN OVER THE PHONE!! I shipped my Infiniti G25 from Los Angeles to New Orleans and It arrived 2 days before projected time frame. The driver Jason was very kind and made sure to tell me he treats every car like it's his own because that's what he would want someone to do for his car. Jason was responsive and gave updates on his ETA as he mentioned he would. The price was $30 cheaper than the original estimate and NO hidden fees or costs beyond what I expected to pay AND the price was hundreds cheaper than other quotes I received when I initially started looking. This is a legit company with SMOOTH service. If you want to just pay and have NO DRAMA... this is your company!! Thank you again AUTO ZIPPER!! read more

I obtained quotes from 5 or 6 auto transport brokers. Pricing was an important factor - but I also wanted to find a broker who I could trust to transport my classic car 2,500 miles from the East Coast to Orange County. Brian was awesome. He explained my options - open vs. enclosed, and went the extra mile to find a driver who would give my car the attention and care I requested. Price was affordable and fair. Brian kept me updated throughout the process and answered my questions. Unlike some other brokers, Brian was not pushy. Overall a great experience. Highly recommended. Thank you. read more

I needed to get my car shipped from CA to TX. I didn't want to risk using uShip as they are mostly just independent contractors bidding on shipping your car, a total crap shoot. AutoZipper - My 79 F100 being dropped off right to my door! - Vehicle Shipping Near Me - Garden Grove, California

Shipping a car is not something I had ever done before. So, I started by calling the companies that came up when I Googled "car shipper." What a mistake! Endless phone and email spam from salesmen ensued. One of them managed to find a relative's phone number and started harrassing her as well. It was creepy. Then, I stumbled across AutoZipper. I think it might have been a recommendation on Reddit that pointed me towards them. What a difference! AutoZipper is a dispatch company like all the other companies. They take your order, then match you with a transporter. However, AutoZipper isn't a giant company, and their staff aren't hardcore sales people. Michelle was my contact at AutoZipper. She shared useful information about the process, and provided a timeline for each step of the process. She was constantly in touch to ensure that the transporter was meeting his obligations. The transporter they assigned to me was a small business owner. He was professional, polite, on time, and was terrific about calling/texting to advise me of his anticipated pick up and delivery times. He also spent at least 1/2 an hour carefully anchoring my car to the truck - in the pouring rain. My car arrived on time and in perfect condition. This was an easy, seamless experience. On top of that, the cost was lower than what I'd been quoted by the larger companies. I absolutely recommend AutoZipper to you if you're looking for a transporter. read more

This is a review from Jan 2020, but I keep on referring all my friends to this business since then because I had a great experience. I worked with Michelle. She was super communicative and very easy to work with. She made sure my car was at the right place, at the time I needed it to be. Obviously natural obstacles I can't do anything about, but I was lucky to have a smooth experience. I was updated often by Michelle and the driver about where my car was which really eased my mind! Their prices were also competitive and I believe they were the lowest quote I got at the time. read more

I just did a cross country move and I cannot recommend AutoZipper enough. Like everyone else, I'm quite skeptical of the moving industry since there seems to be so many horror stories. I found out about AutoZipper on Reddit and was pleasantly surprised to see so many great reviews. Michelle was very knowledgeable, patient, and friendly throughout the entire process. Our move was a bit last minute and 3.5 months after we previously moved with a baby. I was frazzled and stressed but Michelle made the process so much smoother. The car arrived in great condition within 1 week. I highly recommend if you need to ship your car! read more

I recently used AutoZipper to ship my mother's 2017 Toyota Rav4 from Boston, MA to Irvine, CA. The vehicle arrived to the final destination on-time as Brian had originally indicated. I highly recommend AutoZipper and would definitely use their services again in the future. I transported my SUV from Houston, TX to Los Angeles using Auto Zipper. Upon research, and making a few calls to different companies, it became evident to me that this company is the way to go. As explained in other reviews, the process from start to end was smooth thanks to Brian's excellent communication. Getting a quote: I called Auto Zipper and spoke with Brian, who was my contact point throughout the process. He was very transparent about pricing and even adjusted down the price before I asked. His quote was lower than other companies (Montway, etc) by $40. He gave me an ETA for the pick up and I paid a downpayment of about 25-30% of the total amount. He then sent me a contract document via email laying out the bill and what to expect. After I had the contract down, I was always able to ask Brian for updates via text, and he answered my text very quickly. My car was picked up in Texas on Sunday, a week after my call, and it was dropped off in California on Friday, after five days in transit. (I learned that the car was first dropped off in Pomona, CA, and loaded into a smaller truck for delivery in my LA suburb the following day.) My car came in original condition. The person who came to drop off my car was also very nice. Note that, like any other interstate car shipping services, the trailer is likely to make several stops before picking up your car. This means that you should plan for delays. For example, pick up of your car may be delayed by a day or two, which was the case for me. This delay was fine because I expected it and had arranged with my friend to hand over the car after I left Texas. I also read some other reviews that said it took them only 2-3 days for their car to arrive to CA from Texas but in my case it took 5 days. Again, this was no problem for me but you should consider baking in a week's timeframe if you are planning a similar move. I was nervous about using car shipping companies because of so many horror stories but this move went so smoothly thanks to Brian and his team at Auto Zipper. I highly recommend their service. read more

5 stars from the pickup to the updates to the drop off. The question you have to answer is whether there is value in a broker. AutoZipper is a broker. My tendency is to do things directly. But I went with a broker because: - I needed to ship quickly (same weekend) so I needed a large fleet to choose from - I wanted a base level of service and insurance and felt like a broker would have that - the market is fragmented, and I think large brokers do better job of managing than individuals or small shops in fragmented markets - I wanted to feel like I could talk to someone at any point Brian was my rep. He was solid and established the base level of service I should get and let me know if I wasn't getting it to check in and he'd take care of it. That's what I'm talking about! Felt like he looked out...and if I wasn't happy he'd find another shipper. I got an offer from the shipper to work directly with him after. But if I ship again, I'm just going to go back to Zip... #trustTheProcess read more

Sooo this review is long overdue but I was on the hunt for a car shipping company that shipped cars to a small town in Texas from California and I came across Auto Zipper. When I called Auto Zipper I spoke to Brian and he was so patient with me and was able to answer all of my questions. He always got back to me quickly and made the process of shipping my car to me trouble free! It seemed so easy for me and also got a decent price! This was my first time shipping my car (and across multiple states) and I was understandably very apprehensive, especially in the time of a pandemic. All of the reviews I read online for auto shipping made me very skeptical; it seems like a lot of people have had bad experiences. However, I stumbled upon AutoZipper and all of their reviews were very promising so I took a chance and emailed them. Brian got back to me in a very timely manner. He was incredibly responsive and over the next 2 weeks as we planned the logistics of the shipping, he picked up the phone every time I called and got back to me promptly. He was very accommodating with the dates that I needed for the car pick up and car drop off dates. It was so easy to work with him. I didn't plan my vehicle shipment very well. I basically called around 5 days before I needed the car shipped from Atlanta to LA to get quotes. I saw the 5 stars for Brian at Autozippers and the glowing reviews and knew I would be in good hands. When I called him, he knew exactly which truck my car could go on. He put me on hold for less than 30 seconds and then confirmed that he had space on a truck matching my exact time frame for pick up and drop off. In the fragmented marketplace for vehicle shipping, this is extremely rare. I got a quote for $150 less from another reputable company but the dispatcher wouldn't even put me on their board until I paid the brokerage fee (it seems the average is ~$250 for a cross country move). Once you are on the board, they shop it out to the actual trucking companies. The other company couldn't even tell me when I could get picked up, but said my odds of a pick up before Memorial day was slim because it is busy season. But with Brian, I knew exactly when my car would get picked up and delivered and I was happy to pay the difference for the peace of mind, and I'm so glad I did. Vivien was the dispatcher out of California, and she was very polite, prompt and on top of it, alerting me exactly when and where David (the semi driver) would meet me, and about the traffic delay on the pickup day. David was also very professional and surveyed my car carefully to note all paint chips and scratches at pick up. Delivery was on the exact day that I expected and prompt and professional. I was not rushed when inspecting my car. It arrived dirty from dust and rain, and needed a car wash but that was to be expected from an open trailer move across the USA. I paid $1k in cash on delivery because I didn't want to pay the extra $8 for a cashier's check or the money order fee. They don't take personal checks on delivery, which is understandable. Brian called a couple days after delivery to ensure that the whole move went smoothly and that there were no issues. Overall I had a fantastic experience. I wish I could say the same about the movers for my belongings - Global Moving Systems, Port Charlotte, VA - they are the worst! read more

I called five or six places that I found on Yelp. I needed to ship a car from Lakewood, California to Chicago, Illinois. At first I was a little taken aback that you can't pick a specific time and date for drop off/pick up. Then I realized it was like that everywhere. However, the other companies I called seemed very shady and would not give me an price and were very vague on details. They also did not explain everything thoroughly. Brian gave me his contact number and was available anytime for questions- we texted, emailed, and also talked on the phone. Out of the five or six companies I called, auto zipper was the second cheapest. The cheapest was only $10 less than auto zipper. I highly recommend using Brian. read more
