Front guys didn't listen to what I easily described and told mechanics something different. I couldn't have been more clear on my description of what I was hearing. Charged me $320 for it, then when I took it back in because they, of course, didn't get my issue fixed, they ignored me again. Mechanic that jumped in so I could point out what I'm hearing, said they were telling him something different. They then tried charging me an extra $410, to which they did end up refunding because the second round didn't work either. After they finally got a diagnosis, it was going to cost me $1,600. Seems like they intentionally ignored me to keep taking my $$, otherwise, why not tell the mechanic what it was I very clearly described?

I searched for someplace close by and came across Affordable Automotive Repair. I gave them a call and they said they could get me in right away. Tim was fantastic and friendly. Gave me a quote before the work was done. It was reasonable. My window works great now! However the reason for my top notch review is the customer service I received. I received a text message thanking me for my visit and that they appreciate my business. I received a follow up text a month or so later asking how my vehicle was running and to make sure everything was still good. This blew me away! I've never had a business follow up like that before. It is refreshing to know that a business values its customers this way. I will be taking my vehicle back for any needs it may have.

This was after the UHaul rep disappeared for 20 minutes & upon his return, elected to help the man in line behind us before acknowledging our existence. The shop manager came out & apologized for the delay, but told us he didn't know anything about Uhaul all as the line continued to build. One customer left out of frustration. Perhaps the shop manager should take an afternoon to learn about a service his shop offers. Went around the corner to another Ubaul location & they had us taken care of in under 10 minutes. If you need to rent a truck, go elsewhere.

Then we heard through the grapevine that our friend Gary started working at Shorie. We'd instantly trust any shop he worked at. Coincidentally, our vehicle began making loud noises and needed attention just about then. Perfect timing. Evidently, when cooling fans vibrate enough, they break off and cause severe damage to your radiator. So, we had our vehicle towed into the shop and had a rental for over a week because we had to help some friends in Yuma. Schorie was fantastic. They did all the work on our vehicle while we were out of town. It needed a few more things, so we authorized the additional work. The estimate was less than other shops had quoted us (for the front rotors and breaks). We came home, drove over, picked up our vehicle, and were super happy with the work that was done and the warranty terms. Aric was terrific to deal with the entire time on the phone and then in the office as well. The shop is run well, prices are decent, and they have a super warranty to back up their service on your vehicle. Highly recommend.

They were very helpful regarding not only fixing my brake issues but also providing education regarding proper intervals in which I should be servicing other systems of the car. I am a home healthcare provider and my car is my lively hood in this career as I drive 25k mi per year. So in addition to brakes this visit he also swapped out spark plugs which ended up being an involved project based on their location on the vehicle. Pretty sure they were the original ones from 180,000 miles ago! We came up with a plan regarding maintenance of the coolant and transmission fluid at a future date as they were looking fine at the moment. If you're looking for a shop with an honest, family feel where the owner wholeheartedly takes the time diagnose, repair, and provide education regarding this is the one. Also the prices were very reasonable and I was provided with a detailed invoice noting each charge.

Thankfully, a few years later, and a different car, I discovered my Peeps over at The Shop Automotive and have been going to them for replacement parts and repairs ever since. Trudy, Eric, Ian and the rest of the TSA Crew have been taking care of me and my Rides over 10 years, and this week they saved me $100's of Dollars on a brake job for my Daughters car.... **Which reminds me of 1 of my other cars I took to a well-known Vendor (Before meeting the TSA Peeps) for a brake job...
