However, for the past two months, I have been trying to contact him to follow up on the permit, but I have received no proper response. He is not answering any calls or messages. The city has replied to his online permit request, asking for additional documents, but he has not responded. Despite receiving all the money, he has not paid the permit fee to the city. No response to numerous calls / messages / emails. I am now working on to start legal action as he has neither complete the permit work nor returned the money paid for it. STAY AWAY if you need peace of mind.

They all worked without issue and concern, and provided necessary updates when available. Communication with the city for permits was at issue at first, and an initial inspection was missed. As myself and the team weren't aware it was taking place at that specific time. 2nd inspection, the inspector was several hrs late and made the contractors wait all day, and no work could get done that day. Inspections after were good. Only issues I noted were a number of nails left out in my yard, all in the same area vicinity. Where my dog also goes out to walk, so that was a little concern. But there was nothing else that occured, and clean up for was good before and after. Total work - $18k+

1 Star: The Patio Looks Nice, but That's About It!…read more While I will admit that the finished patio looks nice, that is honestly the only positive thing I can say about my experience with this construction company. The construction has been ongoing for months at Greenhaven Oaks Apartments, and the lack of professionalism, communication, and respect for residents' personal property has been extremely disappointing. During construction, workers damaged my children's belongings, including my daughter's baby carriage and my child's bicycle. Nobody even had the decency to notify me that my child's bike had been broken. They also put a hole through my living room wall, which was eventually patched but left unpainted and unfinished. What is especially frustrating is what happened to my children's recycling. I have been teaching my kids responsibility by having them sort and separate our recyclables on their own. They worked hard to organize everything, separating the materials and bagging them up properly. We had seven bags of recyclables ready to go. The following weekend, we lost access to our backyard because of the construction, and we still have not regained access. Now, only one bag of glass bottles remains. I have no idea what happened to everything else. This was not just a pile of recyclables. It was something my children took the time and effort to organize as part of learning responsibility, and now their hard work has essentially disappeared without any explanation. I have already reported these issues to my apartment management, including the damaged baby carriage. A nice-looking patio does not excuse damaged property, missing belongings, poor communication, or a complete lack of accountability. Residents should not have to discover damage to their belongings or repeatedly complain just to have their concerns acknowledged. At the end of the day, the patio may look good, but the way this company treated residents and their belongings was anything but professional. The finished product might deserve five stars, but the overall experience deserves one.

Bob and his crew of Robinson Construction remodeled our home for us while we were eight thousand…read moremiles away in Australia. His honesty and quality workmanship are outstanding. Our home was completely upgraded from the outside to the interior. He found and replaced some very inadequate work performed by another contractor in 2005. Bob would not work on anything until we looked at his house photo's and notes showing us the work he would complete. Upon completion of his work would send photos. We communicated via telephone but mostly via the Internet. Yes, he is Internet savvy also. This is a plus, he and his men clean up after themselves and if anything is considered a little hazardous, like a deck without the railings installed, it is clearly marked or blocked off. During and after the job everything is cleaned up each day. Here is a list of some of the work he completed for us: Reworked the roof where the garage connected to the house. Completely replaced three walls and windows where the previous contractor's workmanship was so bad rain leaked in underneath the windows rotting out the walls. One of the windows/wall was in front of the kitchen sinks, counter top and cabinets. This wall and window were replaced without damage to the counter top, sinks and dishwasher. Replaced headers and double paned sliders without damaging the house. Replaced part of the roof where rain water had rotted out part of the wall. Replaced an area which had extensive water damage. Corrected three main beams which were actually holding up part of the house. Replaced all the attic roof vents around the out side of the house which were previously installed minus the netting to keep out wasps, etc. Stuccoed areas of the exterior totally matching the color. Reworked all the vents and the access door to the crawl space under the house. Installed a brand new deck and railings across the back of the house! Dug out and installed a sump pump under part of the house. Replaced all the wiring for the pool and patio area. Replaced the 2nd heating and air conditioning units to the family and kitchen. Rebuilt an area and ceiling in the family room. Installed a header to the living room and family room leaded glass doors. The previous contractor in 2005 didn't install a header and the doors wouldn't open. Removed and reworked the heating and air conditioning furnace closet which was installed incorrectly by a previous contractor. Reworked all the heating and air conditioning vents installing new intake vents and insulating the whole system. Replaced and taped all the sheet rock joints and re-plastered the whole house. Replaced and reinforced two skylights. One skylight after the bathroom was completely remodeled without any damage to the new bathroom. Both bathrooms were remodeled. Rewired the whole house. Revamped the laundry room, floors, sink and counter top, electricity and gas connections, replacing all including the plumbing. Added new heating and air conditioning vents to that room and replaced the floor. Lowered the high, beamed ceilings in the living and dining rooms adding 6 inches of insulation in the ceiling between the beams then adding sheet rock and fake beams totally insulating those rooms. Reworked the through-ways between the rooms without doors. Replaced all base boards perfectly. Replaced the electrical, water and gas connections for the stoves, microwave and fridge without damaging anything which included removing and reinstalling cabinets and flooring. There is so much more. This was a major redo and we have a brand new custom home. We feel Robinson Construction saved our home. I highly recommend Robinson Construction. Bob is a super person, very professional and insists ALL his work is completed to perfection. I wish you could see this house. Bob is a master contractor who works totally to code. We feel very fortunate we had him complete our home remodel.

Existing dark brown deck boards were lifting with plank screw fasteners exposed. After an unsuccessful attempt to use of Behr penetrating stain, boards were partially restored to a dark brown. After one year, the Behr stain began to visibly peel off of all components of the deck. Douglas fir staircase railings did not soak in or retain the Behr stain. Last year, due to heavy rain, our adjacent underground basement flooded requiring pumping to remove water transferred through the cement foundation of the home. Project Phases: Phase 1: remove all existing wood components of the existing deck. Phase 2: Excavate deck side of the House foundation, a) paint foundation with active water resistant barrier paint to cover all House foundation areas next to the back deck. Bury white 4 inch piped highly absorbent water accumulators and interconnect piping with an existing roof gutter drain system. Phase 3: Install new TREX Transcend "Tiki Torch" wood grain planks using concealed TREX fastener system complimented by new black metal rust resistant stair case fencing and railing system. We were so fortunate to find KEN RECTOR CONSTRUCTION-AUBURN to engineer, furnish and design our project.
