We took a basic course and then progressed into some scenario drills to warm up to the zombie apocalypse scenario. The drills were challenging and were all a lot of fun. Daisy did a great job of normalizing for the skill gap so we could all do the same drills together. Safety- wise, she was meticulous about cleaning and taking Covid precautions. We used sanitizer when we walked in, wore masks, and all the gear was wiped down right after use. The range is safe, quiet, and clean since the guns are CO2 powered. I would definitely come back!

Highly recommended. His teaching methods really got the material to stick in my head (which is hard for me usually). I also enjoyed side conversations about the subject matter during the breaks. While filling out the required paperwork for the LTC, I found out you could take classroom portion online! There were quite a few options available, so I looked for a local Austin (well, Leander) based business to support. I signed up for the LTC Austin online course to keep myself busy during the current Stay-at-Home order. The courses were thorough and easy to navigate. I really appreciated being able to do it on my own time, rather than sitting in a classroom for 5 hours like I had to do in Florida. It was a great refresher for a lot of basics and coming from another state, I found the coverage of Texas specific laws incredibly valuable, having seen many of the signs posted around town already. They have a partnership with Shady Oaks Gun Range in Cedar Park that I plan on scheduling my LTC Proficiency Demonstration with as soon as they are able to start booking them again.
