They made a next-day appointment & phoned when they were on their way. A very knowledgeable technician - Josh arrived & after checking the plumbing in the basement, explained where the problem was. I had the option of hydro jetting or pouring a clog-clearing product called "Liquid Lightning" (which I never heard of) down the drain. I found the product at Walmart & used it as directed. So far, so good. I have two water heater replacements as well as other plumbing repairs coming in the near future & I will not hesitate to call Rockstar Plumbing. Unlike many businesses today, they are honest, knowledgeable, and (as advertised) don't charge for estimates.

He said he was closing and would charge $750/hr. Water was running down the street so I texted people on Yelp and Angie's list. The first company I contacted said they'd be here in a hour. An hour later I called and they said maybe I should call somewhere else. I called a second plumber who said they'd put me on the list and get back to me in a couple of hours. Then I texted Carlos Molina, he was a half hour away and came exactly at the time he said he would. He stopped the leak and started to determine the source. He didn't give up until he identified the problem, then came back the next day and finished the job. Carlos Molinas is true to his word, is a great guy, and did a fantastic job fixing my water main leak. On top of that, he felt he charged me a more than fair price. I highly recommend Molinas Plumbing & Router. Carlos is my new plumber on call for sure.

When checking under the house they found another active leak and also identified an issue with our water pressure regulator. To top it off, they were immediately available to come out, investigate, provide a solution, and spent the entire day resolving all three problems so we could have water back the same day. We've had zero issue with those problems since! Forward to today, call #2, totally unrelated issue, and they once again show up first thing in the morning on a Sunday to diagnose and begin addressing the problem. Updating my original review years later because we ended up needing Mick again today for another…read moreplumbing issue at one of our family properties. We had a sewer backup issue affecting the back unit/ADU while also dealing with separate toilet issues in the front house. Mick responded quickly, diagnosed both problems efficiently, and got everything resolved the same day. The front house issue turned out to be worn toilet flappers from normal wear and tear. The back unit issue was a main line grease buildup/clog that required drain clearing and camera inspection work. Mick also took the time to explain the likely long-term slope/drainage concern with the ADU connection in a very straightforward and practical way. One thing I still appreciate after all these years is that Mick communicates like an operator, not a salesman. He explains what is urgent, what is manageable, and what may become a future capital repair issue without trying to create panic or pressure. Fast response, direct communication, practical diagnostics, and strong long-term knowledge of older LA plumbing systems and rental properties. Still highly recommend Mick and Right Price Rooter & Plumbing.
