I'll be honest, I don't like plumbers based on past experiences. About a year ago I had another plumber come in and I thought he did a decent job but he didn't and I felt like he took advantage of me. So Jose and ANJ plumbing was highly recommended to me by someone with a great reputation whom I trust. This person is usually spot on with recommending businesses. Well I had an issue with a drainage pipe in my house and I called Jose and sent him pictures. Jose quoted me a specific amount and was able to bring his team in the next day. His team was great. They were nice and prompt and were able to start the work immediately. They actually did find an issue with the plumbing that was done a year before by that other plumber and even quoted me the same amount that plumber did to fix it. They finished within a reasonable time, cleaned up after themselves, and tested it to make sure it worked before they left. Even their handwriting on the work order was great - It was like the best legible writing I've seen in a long time. In the end I paid exactly what they quoted me over the phone and was very happy to have it completed. I plan to have them come back for some smaller jobs that I wanted them to work on but didn't have time to do today. I would highly, highly recommend this plumber to anyone and I've already started sharing the his contact info with other people that I know. read more

I called AnJ Plumbing a month ago to fix an issue with my water pump. Jose came out and said the issue was the floating system within the pump was faulty and needed to be changed. We changed it and the job cost $2,300. Now the problem resurfaced so we had him come back to see what the issue was. He told us that the issue is not the floating system but instead it's the entire plumbing system. This job would have costed us several thousands had we trusted him. Instead we found out that the issue was still with the floating system he just replaced! This is a malicious business practice and AnJ Plumbing is not to be trusted. If you want to avoid being swindled then avoid doing business with this establishment. read more

If you are having plumbing issues, big or small, don't hesitate to call AnJ / Jose. They have done 2 big jobs for us including a total replacement of our sewer main(s). Jose is responsive, easy to work with to scope the job, and his team is communicative, friendly and leave the place as clean as they found it. His pricing is reasonable, the work is top notch, and they go above and beyond to make sure we are happy. We will be using him again and recommend him to anyone who is looking for a plumber! read more

It's not fun to find out you have a plumbing issue, but if you do, I recommend you call ANJ plumbing! A few weeks ago, our kitchen sink backed up. After running the camera, we saw we had a broken drain pipe under the middle of our home :(. Jose and the team came up with a plan that allowed us to re-route our drain pipes around the outside of our home, to avoid breaking up most of our tile, hardwood and slab, inside the home. Although they did have to break up the tile and slab in our bathroom in order to cap off the old pipe, they were professional in the job, kept our house as clean as possible and repaired the damage in a timely manner. With the slab opened, Jose noticed our pipes were original, galvanized pipes, that were in bad shape. He recommended that we replace them while everything was already opened, as well as to re-route our water pipes as well (which we did) because they were also older and if we had any issues, they would have to do this all over again at that point! That being said, he never made us feel pressured to do his recommendations and was happy to just fix the original issue, if that was what we wanted. We ended up doing a full repipe of the majority of the house (both drain and water) while everything was opened, as well as fixing another drain pipe in the laundry room that always had a slight smell to it (as it was originally done wrong without a p-trap). All in all it was a pretty big job, but the team explained everything each step of the way and happily answered any questions we had. The team arrived every day first thing in the morning and cleaned up everything before they left each day. Knowing I wanted to keep the inside mess to a minimum, they were able to trench under the slab to replace pipes in a second bathroom as well, just to make sure everything was replaced properly. Two weeks later, the job was completed (except for one replacement part we are waiting on, which they will come back to replace as soon as we receive it), and it's like nothing happened - except our pipes are all new, and the water is running and draining perfectly and the laundry room smell is gone! We appreciate that this is a family business and felt like they treated our home as if it was their own. Outside of the plumbing, one day while they were here, our mail person had dropped her keys down the sidewalk drain by accident, noticing she was upset, Adrian and Angel sprung in to action, reaching in to retrieve them. This is just an example of the type of kind humans they are! While they may not be the least expensive, If you want to job done right, I would highly recommend you call ANJ plumbing. read more

ANJ Plumbing - Plumbing Near Me

Called and a very nice, and helpful person, Jose answered and said he'd have a plumber out to repair our master bath toilet in an hour. True to form the technician, Adrian, showed up. He had the shut off valve repaired and the hardware replaced in the fill tank in an hour. I highly recommend them. read more

We went through many plumbers before we found A n J several years ago. We were never less than satisfied with Jose's work. He is now delegating a lot to his son, Adrian, who is no less qualified. The work is always done quickly and cleanly, and for a fair price. We have had both minor (drain clean out, etc.) and major (sewer line replacement) work done, all with excellent results. read more

I had a 12 year old Dishmaster faucet on my kitchen sink which was wearing out. Most people, including plumbers, will not know what a Dishmaster is, but people who use them, like me, would not have anything else, for easy user friendly dish washing, company's been around since 1948, well designed and well made, built to last. My failing Dishmaster was installed improperly by someone who admitted he didn't know what he was doing, it took a really long time with many complaints about the difficulty, 12 years ago. Usually Dishmasters last longer, all their parts are made of brass. i have had a plumber for a long time that i'm really happy with but he is out of town. i needed to find a company to install my new Dishmaster. I found recommendations on NextDoor.com. Two of those plumbers i called either did not know what it was, or did not want to install it. Then i called Jose at AnJ, i asked if he was familiar wiht Dishmasters, and he said "you mean the faucets?" and i said yes. He sid sure. He said he could come out to install it the next morning. He came as promised and went to work, i asked if he had installed one before and he said 'sure.' He proceeded to install it quickly and smoothly, no drama. it was soon done and working well, the installation is professional, everything done correctly. After he left, i found that i didn't have hot water. Jose was not far and came right back. He found that whoever installed the piping under the sink had reversed the pipe hook ups. Jose quickly switched so the hot water would come out of the hot side. While he was there, something else was bothering me about the spray coming out of the brush on the handle of the wand, it wasn't a full spray. I called Dishmaster customer support and Jose was available to communicate information to them and trouble shoot it to clarify that it wasn't my plumbing or the installation, everything was correct and Jose substituted the part from my older Dishmaster that had been working and it worked on the new one too, so the Dishmaster guy could see it was a defective part and he shipped me a new part. i'm so glad i found Jose to call on for plumbing needs. i already had a plumber who i liked a lot who was out of town, but i would call Jose any time. His price was fair and not painful, he did the work fast because he knew what he was doing and it was done right. He has a warranty period on repairs. He's trustworthy and experienced and skilled, and friendly and professional. read more

We bought an old house that we knew had serious plumbing issues. Jose came highly recommended from a reliable source and boy am I glad we went with him over the other contractors we got bids from. We did a full supply repipe in copper (I like my pipes old school) and Jose's team was fast, thorough, friendly and cost competitive. We liked his work (and his team!) so much we hired him for a bunch of other tasks on the house (including fixing some backyard drainage problems) and have been pleased with the result, cost and speed each time. Jose never surprised us with any unexpected price changes, was always available to answer any questions, and was very flexible whenever we wanted to discuss changes or make decisions in the middle of a job. If you've got plumbing work you need done, and ANJ plumbing is available, I highly recommend giving them a call! read more

Great customer service. We had a leak and they were quick to respond and very professional. I highly recommend them!

My experience was not the same as the other reviews. It is now a year later and I was sold a recirculating pump when I did not need one. I have a small place and all it has been is a drain on my bills - I actually turned it off because my gas bill went up quite a lot. It was definitely something I did not need. Our water heater went out and needed a new one right away and did not have time to do research - make sure you do yours and if an emergency - make sure to get 2 bids - I unfortunately was too trusting. read more

Needing a plumber is never a good thing and in this case we had a huge job that needed to be done. Covid practices were clearly adhered to and we will definitely call them again for any future plumbing needs. read more

I was referred to ANJ Plumbing thru Mr. Chimney Sweep.com. We had a gas leak in our fireplace and Jose responded immediately. Adrian came out and assessed the situation and we did need to install a new gas line. Adrian and Angel came out a few days later and did a beautiful job. Very professional and clean and tidy. After they were thru, Jose suggested a person to re stucco the house where the hole was made for the gas line and it was done the same day. Very reasonable prices with very nice, knowledgeable guys! Will definitely use them again. read more

AnJ Plumbing to the rescue again! They handled a major sewer problem for me. Not only did they diagnose the problem correctly (which the plumber sent by the home warranty company did not when they came out due to back up in my house), but gave me a fair price for the extensive work. As always, Jose was professional, honest, fair priced and exceptionally nice. His entire crew as well. Jose and his son are great to work with and reasonably priced. I like the way they just get down to business and go right after the problem and fix it. I have been able to count on them for the the last 2 years. I had them replace the water heater and in the process saw that some adjacent hardware fittings needed replacement (that were not part of the water heater job) and they did it at no extra charge. Good people, good company. read more

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Jose and his team. We had a broken water main that went under our driveway. The first plumbers who came quoted us an enormous amount of money, and told us they would have to break through the concrete of our drive, and could only partially patch it. My friend then recommended ANJ Plumbing. Jose immediately came out while I was at work, quoted us half the amount, did not need to break through the concrete AT ALL! And fixed it all within a day and a half. I will always use Jose and his team. They are fast, efficient, so incredibly honest, and very very affordable! I am so happy I found them! read more

Jose came to my rescue yet once again! It is so stressful when working with contractors and I had hired one to remodel by bathrooms. The majority of work was good but the plumber their company used was horrible. Sinks leaked, toilets were running, bathtub faucets were installed backwards, shower hardware screws were stripped - you get the picture. I told the contract that his plumber was not allowed to step into my home ever again and then I called Jose for help. He came immediately to help me! He is professional, knowledgeable, delightful, helpful, respectful of one's home and his work is top notch. I can't thank him enough for the amazing work he did and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone for their plumbing needs. He is a rare find! read more
