Gaspar and his team did right by us. We had a major plumbing issue while we were away, with a house sitter in our home. He worked with us remotely to figure out what had gone wrong and then, once we finally got home, was so great in not only fixing our issues, but working with us to renovate 2 of our bathrooms at the same time. The work was exceptional. Especially all of the shower and toilet plumbing. And the tiling was pristine. I couldn't believe how everyone genuinely seemed to care about all the details. And he was more than fair on the charges - and extremely communicative the entire way. For that, we have been recommending him to all our friends. You hear horror stories about renovations going wrong and costing so much more than expected, but we had the best experience. Thank you, Gaspar! read more

Gaspar's Plumbing - Tony Gaspar of Gaspars helping us out on a hot Saturday - Plumbing Near Me - West Hills, California

Gaspar and his assistant came out promptly after talking to them on the phone. We were so happy they were available to come the day after the 4th of July to unplug our main drain! We were impressed with their quick and efficient service. I'd recommend them for any plumbing needs. read more

I've known Gaspar since 1986 when he first took my mom's call to fix a plumbing leak late one night that made a mess in the bathroom. We later learned from him that, at the time, Gaspar was pretty new to the field of plumbing. We would not have been able to know, however, because he showed nothing but confidence, a great attitude, and a professional skill set that knocked the job out quick enough for us to get back to sleep without worries and to have a full night's rest. He even left it cleaner than it was when he got there! He topped all that with a price that my mom confirmed was extremely fair for the work that he did. Over the next several years, we'd occasionally have plumbing issues in our old house and pulled Gaspar's number out of the Rolodex. He always remembered us by name and was personable and attentive enough to surprisingly recall a little factoid about what we'd told him we were up to during light conversation from his previous visit years before. Over the years, Gaspar has done so many plumbing jobs for me and all of my separate family members at our respective homes: repair on bathroom and kitchen leaks, valve replacements, copper repiping, spinkler system repair, tankless water heater installation, he even did the plumbing from scratch at my sister's new home. Why have we stuck with the same plumber over so many years and continued to refer him to everyone we know could use a plumber? And why would I write such a lengthy review for just a plumber? Put aside for a minute that Gaspar has fair pricing, that he is a consummate professional that fully knows what he's doing, has never had a call back by any one member of my family or circle of friends, always leaves the work area clean, and does his work efficiently. Put that all aside to just focus on this one key piece: No matter what the state has been of the local economy, Gaspar's business has succeeded and continued to grow over the years BECAUSE of the way he treats people, not in spite of it. Gaspar is the kind of guy with whom customers have comfortably entrusted the keys to their house while on vacation...I say that not as a hypothetical, but as something that some of his customers have actually done! I know it's hard to come by someone as authentic as Gaspar, but when you do as I did, hold on to them like gold. read more

We bought our home last summer here in West Hills and after a month of living here we unfortunately had a slab leak. We were referred to Gaspar and very thankful for it. He came out next day and repaired the pipe. Long story short we had another slab leak a few months after and he highly recommended we reroute our pipes. We got multiple bids and his was the most thorough and fair priced. His team (Luis you are great!) is very nice, professional, and cleaned up after every day they were here. Aside from the pipe reroute we relocated our wash/dry to the garage and went to a tankless water heater. Everything looks and works great. Highly recommended! read more

I called Gaspar on a Sunday morning and explained my issue. The main pipe had blockage so we couldn't use any of the showers and toilets in both stories of our home. He was here within 30 minutes and took only another 30 minutes to fix the issue. He was very honest and experienced, I highly recommend Gaspar's Plumbing services. read more

Thank you Gaspar's Plumbing for your prompt, courteous, and professional service! Gaspar and his crew came to help us replace a leaking water heater and went through a detailed explanation of what needed to be done with an accurate estimate. We had also inquired about the pros & cons of a tank-less vs. conventional water heater and he helped us make an informed decision about the best course of action-- something an unscrupulous person might not do because they may be driven to drive to charge you as much as the can. Gaspar's honesty and clear explanation was a breath of fresh air. Trust me, you can't go wrong with Gaspar's Plumbing. read more

Best plumber I've ever had work for me. I'm in construction and meet fellow contractors all the time. Gaspars pricing, workmanship, customer service and knowledge was superior. I highly recommend this guy! read more

- I called to ask if they could come and give me a free estimate and I couldn't even finish introducing myself before the guy on the phone says something like, ''we don't need your business and then he hangs up in my face before I even had a chance to answer. Thinking it was just a phone glitch, I called again, I get the same guy, I ask him if he just hang up on me, he confirmed to me that he did and than he hang up on me again. I would definitely be a repeat customer. Prices were fair and service was great. Thank you! read more

Thank you to Gaspar and his team for responding to us asap! At 11:30pm 7/11 our main water pipe burst and was flooding our front yard. I frantically searched google for an emergency plumber, found Gaspar's number, and called. He answered and within 15 minutes of our call he was at our door! He shut off our water from the street and identified the problem. He told us he would be back at 8:00am to replace the pipe and he was true to his word. Him and his team fixed our main water pipe within the hour, and returned later that day to fix our yard where it was dug and turned back on our water. I'm impressed with his speed of service professionalism. Thank you for saving us last night and for all your help! We look forward to working with you again and referring you to our friends :) read more

My experience is a whole lot different than the previous poster. I say that they are the most professional plumbing business around. My toilet valve burst and would not stop running. I rang up Gaspar, due to my emergency situation I was somewhat agitated and slightly incoherent. Thankfully, Gaspar was calm. He put me at ease and said he would be right over to handle my problem. Mind you, I called him up late late on a Sunday Easter night, going into a Monday morning at 1:30am! Gaspar did not take advantage of the situation nor did he attempt to rip me off. Needless to say, that I can attest to his pleasant demeanour, and his friendly mannerisms. In a world filled where plumbers and mechanics will take advantage of emergency situations, Gaspar is one whom you can feel confident about calling. I recalled afterwards that part of why I picked his name out of the others was that luckily for me once before I called him up in an emergency situation and he solved yet another urgent plumbing problem about 8 years earlier. And, now my toilet has stopped running! He replaced the valve and the float and the other working parts. Thanks Gaspar! I can rest easier! read more

Gaspar has been our plumber for many years. With a 60 year old house, we have had our share of plumbing problems. He has done many jobs for us -- including a new tank less water heater, replacing pipes, replacing and/or fixing toilets and leaking faucets. We could always count on him to fix the problem as soon as possible and to do a good job. Since Gaspar is also a general contractor, we recently hired him to remodel our kitchen. Although it did take longer than expected (doesn't remodeling always have delays of one kind or another?), we were very pleased with the outcome. We have received many rave reviews from our family and friends on our new kitchen. read more

Word of mouth referral and experience of others from recent jobs done for them are two considerations I decided to use when I chose Gaspar's Plumbing. Gaspar's competence and efficiency are outstanding. His commitment to deliver excellent service and satisfaction are proven in the way he communicated personally, by phone and texts; his time schedule in finishing the job; adjustments needed to satisfy customers' expectations are above par. These were evidenced when he adjusted the shower head he installed and when he found ways to install my alkaline water machine to my new faucet. Highly recommended; he did a superb job for the cost of my projects in my house. Thank you Erza and continue helping people in their plumbing and other projects in their houses! I was getting a loud vibration from my pipes whenever I use the faucet. I initially used a different plumber who couldn't solve the problem even though they were highly reviewed on Angie's list. A friend of mine recommended Gaspar's, who showed up on the same day and said that I needed a pressure regulator installed even though the previous plumber specifically said that houses in my neighborhood did not need one. The price they quoted was cheaper than anybody else's, and they were able to come back two days later to get the job done. I also asked them to replace all three of my toilets with higher quality ones while they were at it. They recommended the brand that works the best, and the parts and labor estimate they had for that job was also cheaper than anything else I could find. When it was time to do the jobs, they showed up on time and finished everything quickly. The vibration in my pipes are gone and my new toilets work great. I could not have hoped for a better experience. read more

Gaspar came out to my rental and was several hours late. He kept saying he was there when he wasn;t and finally arrived near the end of the day. He was unable to tell me what the problem was, but instead kept telling me all the things wrong my prior plumber did, all the while unable to resolve the problem for which he was called. When he finally took a look at it, he was not able to tell me the cost, but said he would provide an estimate which he said would take 3 days to repair, and that he would have to tear up the concrete, my brick work and cut off water for 3 days. His estimate was about $4800. I got a second opinion, found another company who was able to fix the problem within 4 hours at a cost of less than $500. Plumbers like this are a reason to get second opinons. In response to your comment Gaspar you never cleared the line, and you just gave me an inflated estimate. I had two other plumbers come in to look at it and neither was as expensive as your estimate, and neither one had all the complications which you said there was, and neither one bad mouthed my former plumber. You were just fishing for a customer, Luckily I found a great plumber from the experience which was not you. read more

gaspar is a very bad business man, very unprofessional, we used his services a couple of times. The first time was for replacing the water heater which I had to go and redo some part of it myself and later the Gas company had to come and replace the gas line which was leaking after the installation of the water heater due to his error while I was away from home. I still gave him the benefit of the doubt and called him the second time (I guess shame on me), for the broken pipe in the concrete slab. After his unreasonable charge of $900 to remove one tile and repair a nail-tip hole in the pipe, he left a whole lot of mess behind him again. including breaking other tiles leaving whole lot of toxic material and residue and dirt in the pipe after repair with out flashing the system causing me to go and open all related water fossetts, shower mixers and filters and thats not enough he patch the floor with wrong tile and wrong color grout, such ugly job that i can not even describe and after all that he has a nerve to tell me he has done me a favor and he is not going to fix his mess even after i bought correct material my self . well i guess he is not going to do me no more favors as his smart pans is stating . do your self a favor and say no to poor quality worker. read more
