We didn't want to begin the remodel without first addressing the hard water issue, so we started calling companies to get bids for a water softener system. What immediately set Chris apart was how patient and thorough he was. He spent over an hour answering our questions and never made us feel rushed. My brother is very research-oriented and had a lot of detailed questions, and since Chris was our third bid, we had accumulated even more questions along the way. Chris took the time to explain everything clearly and in depth. It was obvious that Chris truly knows his craft. He educated us on many aspects of water treatment. Also, he's a licensed plumber, and we wanted to make sure we went with a company that's either licensed for plumbing or water treatment--preferably plumbing. We ultimately chose a larger one-tank softener system along with a reverse osmosis system for our kitchen, including a dedicated RO line to our refrigerator. While Chris's price was a few hundred dollars lower than the other two quotes, what mattered more was that, after researching, we found his equipment--both the softener and the RO system--to be higher quality than what the competitors offered. On installation day, Chris's team arrived on time and walked us through the entire process beforehand. The installation itself was super clean! That's another reason we went with Chris; we looked at pictures of his other work and noticed the meticulously neat installations. We really value neatness! I initially contacted him to perform maintenance on my tankless hot water heater since I had just moved into a new home. Zorro showed up on time, was extremely patient, and took the time to answer all of my questions (it was my first time dealing with a tankless system). Because of how great the experience was, I ended up asking him for a quote on a whole house water filtration system as well. During the installation, one of the filter tanks unfortunately had a crack. Zorro immediately got on the phone with his supplier to get a replacement as quickly as possible. Erick Sr. and his partner showed up exactly at 9am as promised. Erick Sr asked a few questions and gave me play by play what he's going to do to clear the problem and walk me through what he sees on the camera for bigger obstructions that might require a future visit to clear permanently. The service was hydro jetting my main pipe/line and they hydro jetted through a lot of roots and determined a small crack in the pipe from my house to the main city connector. I've felt with root issues for 20 years. This is a 55 year old house and roots have grown out of areas you least suspect so I was expecting to hear about a cracked pipe but we agreed it wasn't too bad for how old the house is. They hydro jetted twice and used the camera 3 times to be sure the obstructions were cleared.
