I luckily found the Dr. Rooter family to repair a job another plumber just slapped a patch on and called it a day. They kept me informed at every stage of the repair and assured me that they would be able to replace the 75 year old galvanized irrigation pipe with a new copper one even though it went under the concrete driveway. They were courteous and clean in their work habits. I appreciated the detailed Invoice sent via email that I could pay online and print out for the DWP Bill Adjustment program. I did not hesitate to call them again when I experienced a dishwasher backup on the drain line. We just had our kitchen pipes come undone last night. I got Peter's number from our realtor and called immediately. I got a call (missed it) and text back within an hour with the time he was available to come in today. The texting process was very easy and he was so courteous and respectful of my time. Dr Rooter was called to my home to fix a botched job by another plumber. My tenant paid first guy $5000. He left toilets unconnected, said there was a leak in the living room (although there is no water in the living room) etc. He never came back to finish. Dr Rooter - Peter- was prompt, professional and charged $375. First guy wanted 14,500 to repipe my home. Dr Rooter was $7500. We have used Dr. Rooter-Peter for several leak repairs. This last fix was more difficult than we've had in the past. Peter walked us through the possible scenarios and the possible fixes. He let us make the final decision. He is easy to talk to and is very adaptable. The plumbing fix turned out to be more complicated than we originally thought but they did not waiver. He and his crew stayed until they got us running hot water. (it was a 12 hour day for them) We are so appreciative that Peter and his crew have a great work ethic and got us up and running that day. Peter was referred to us by a family member who has been using him for years. We had been told by another plumber that the only solution for our ongoing clogged line was to dig through our tile floors and replace the aging sewer line. Peter suggested a non-invasive alternative which did the trick. Our sewer lines were hydro-jetted and a high-pressure toilet installed, which did the trick.
