Amazing Experience! We were fortunate to have concierge service who put us in touch with Chef Rob. Chef Rob contacted us within 10 minutes of our concierge notifying him we wished to use his services. He provided us with sample menus to review as well as a suggested menu for our dinner. We even requested one additional appetizer after our menu was set and Chef Rob never blinked. Upon arrival in Maui we were contacted by Chef Rob to provide us a schedule for his arrival, what to expect and how long he would be with us. Everything was perfect! Each of our group of four adults talked about the dinner when it was over and Chef Rob had gone. We all had one regret from our very special meal. We sat outside enjoying the beauty of West Maui from our rental home and we each sincerely wished we had sat inside with Chef Rob. He was so kind to answer any questions, however if we had spent more time with him inside while he was cooking we could have interacted more and probably learned some valuable things as well. We really regret that we didn't do this. Every dish he served was amazing! He even cleaned all of the dishes before leaving a perfectly clean kitchen. Chef Rob himself was so wonderfully kind and genuine, exactly the type or Chef we were looking for. I have no doubt you will be pleased beyond your expectations, just like we were. As for cost, compare this to going out to a fine dining experience, but all within the privacy of your own home and you decide what to wear. Should we ever return to Maui and have the opportunity to do this again, we will definitely reach out to Chef Rob. read more

A private dining experience with Chef Rob Mason, is a must for every kama'aina or malihini visiting Maui. We had the pleasure of having an intimate 7 person dinner created by Chef Rob, in the privacy of our friend's home. From beginning to end, Chef Rob created a stellar evening for us. First of all, he arrived EARLY !!! He came prepared: cookware, serving platters, dinnerware from England, rolling coolers and containers, and of course, some scrumptious grinds. While sitting on the lana'i, soaking up the ocean views, we were served the best tasting (homemade) poke I have ever tasted in my 38 years being an islander. This was served with some awesome mini meatballs. We moved indoors and were treated to an amazing fresh salad, while Chef Rob was finishing up with our generous serving of pan seared fresh mahi mahi, garlic potato mash, asparagus and snow peas. We were in heaven. The food was beyond ono (delicious). While we were finishing up, we were served individual ramekins of chocolate souffle - which definitely give Roy's a run for their money !! We had the pleasure of having Rob host our girls day brunch. He came earlier than we expected to start preppping the food. This was a great first impression of him which helped set the tone for the experience. He brought everything he needed including his own dish ware and serving platters. The presentation was clean, appetizing and inviting. We had a charcuterie board, ahi crostini (SUPER YUMMY), watermelon burrata salad, chicken and waffles (MUST!) and made to order omelets. One of the things we realized about the experience was that it was almost like Rob wasn't there. Although, if we went over and had a conversation with him, he was super friendly, very outgoing and a lot of Aloha! At the end of our experience, we noticed that Rob was packing up his things and we looked in the kitchen to see how we could help. We were surprised to find the kitchen spotless as if nothing happened. What a great impression to leave. We recently had a family vacation in Kaanapali where we rented a home and hired Rob to serve two dinners for seven people. Hand down, when we recalled what was the favorite part of our trip, it was the two nights when Rob and his helpers came to cook and serve. The food was excellent and the presentation beautiful. They were so professional and friendly--you could tell his servers did it for a living. We tasted his poke, shrimp, crab, wings, and turkey meat as appetizers. My son-in-law said it was the best poke he's ever had, and he tastes poke wherever he goes. Main dishes were the local fresh catch the first night and pork tenderloin the second night. Desserts were divine. There isn't one thing I can criticize--seriously amazing. read more

Absolutely superb service & food with Chef Rob & staff. We had them create a dinner for us in our rental home the first night we arrived in Hawaii and again on New Years Eve. He worked with us to create the perfect meals for our family of 11 that included 3 toddlers. The food was amazing and their presentation and service just took everything over the top. It was so nice not to have to cook and clean while on vacation. They left the kitchen & dining room immaculate when theRob & his staff were very much alive with the Aloha spirit. Chef Rob was a perfect addition to our family vacation. He was very professional and personable with a sense of humor, not to mention an amazing gourmet chef. He was very easy to work with putting together a menu that would accommodate all of us (7). He and his assistant Lindsey were very attentive and a pleasure to be with. I had Chef Rob come to our home to prepare a birthday dinner as a surprise for my husbands birthday. It was absolutely amazing!! We had an appetizer, a salad course, main course, and a dessert. I can not tell you how fantastic the food was!! Having a "personal chef" for an evening was new to us and worth every penny- it is so much fun. We rented a beautiful home while in Maui. It was suggested that we consider having a private Chef come to prepare dinner. Chef Rob did NOT disappoint!!!
