Loved Robert. Trip started on time and being a frequent ghost tour participant whenever I am traveling somewhere, I found the tour on Groupon and gave it a shot. Robert did not disappoint. He made things very interesting and despite the 105 degree heat (yes, at night!), it was awesome. He has a great sense of humor and not overly theatrical which really was appreciated! I had no idea that San Antonio had so many stories! Thanks for a great night! I was able to capture something (yes... creepy!) from the evening and will upload the pictures once I get back. Robert checked out the photos I took that night and even agreed that he thought we definitely caught something on camera. Used my iPhone, flash off, and no special settings... Tour guide Daniel was very informative, funny, and seemed to enjoy the history. We had a small group of about 6 people which was nice. We visited a few houses and the court house in Corpus Christi. I wish we were actually able to go into at least one of the buildings. Just being able to walk around them, with most of the curtains and blinds closed seemed lacking. Being able to use the emf readers and spirit box was really cool, although the spirit box died after about 10 minutes and there were no extra batteries which was upsetting, especially for paying $30 for an hour tour. We learned a lot on this tour.  It was interesting to see all the places we walked to and hear the stories and about specific people.  As we traveled, we saw pictures, but they were on an iPhone.  It would have been better to see things on a bigger device. The pace of our tour guide was a bit fast for us. We are in shape, yet we felt like we were getting a workout. Parts of our group consistently lingered behind, and we had to wait on them.  A slower pace would have been better. That said, we genuinely liked our guide. It was enjoyable to listen to him.  He clearly enjoys sharing this information. My companion liked tour enough to pick up a souvenir. read more

The ghost tour guide was very nice, but I was under the impression from him that we were going into basements and buildings. It felt more like a history tour with ghost stories, then a actual ghost tour We went into No building we were literally just stood outside in the cold , looking at buildings. The RJA Ghost tour was absolutely awesome! Our tour guide Jimmy was very funny and also a magician which was super cool because he did some mind blowing magic tricks along the way. This tour was great because it wasn't just about ghosts but also a history lesson about the historic architecture around San Antonio. Good tour. Touring San Antonio at night is a must and this tour guide is really good. We took a picture that looked like a face in the window pane of the cathedral which was interesting Die to the information that the guide gave use, we decided to stay in the Emily Morgan hotel which was a nice experience as well. read more

We were on a Saturday night tour in Corpus Christi last night. Our guide from San Antonio was subbing for another guide whom had a medical ailment red head. He was knowledgeable of the area and also used the internet for some history since he's normally working San Antonio. He did a first for me by letting the group use different tools on the tour including the hand held EVP machine. He also used a ghost box where any one in the group could ask a question at different stops. My wife and youngest daughter agree with me by saying',"Very NICE!" I've been on at least 15 ghost tours across the nation and never had this experience. Come GIt Some in Corpus! Highly recommend and check out the old court building at night, it looks spooky.... I believe our Tour guide was named David. The tour was great. The enthusiasm of the tour guide was great. His stories and answers to our questions were perfectly executed. Even my children enjoyed listening to him because he had just enough humor to keep everyone engaged. He made me want to go home and read more about what he said, and it was easy to research with the information he gave us. you could tell he had a passion for his work. It was a lot of walking, so not recommended if you've been on your feet all day like I was but he was very good about setting a pace that was comfortable with everyone. Some post below complain that it's basically a history tour, but what the point of going on a ghost tour and NOT hearing the back story of who they might be, or history related to their death?!? Okay so basically the people who run this tour are paranormal investigators and the company has privately investigated all the sites you go to. The guide takes you on a long two hour walk around the Alamo and Houston street stopping at various locations, mostly hotels, to talk about their history and the hauntings that have occurred there. I went on the 9:00 tour and while our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, I was tired and had walked all day so it was hard for me to enjoy the tour as much as I should. I would still recommend it because it was a great way to learn about the city and it's history, and a fun way! read more

This ghost tour was, hands down, mine and my husband's favorite experience here in San Antonio on our week long anniversary trip! It was so fun to walk around the city with our very knowledgeable, very funny, tour guide. I believe his name was Cody?? This city has a rich history and it was great to learn all about it while checking out some chilling spots. Corpus Christi Ghost Tour - Our tour guide was awesome for it being her first week. However I was a little let down due to not being able to go inside any of the houses. The old courthouse looked awesome, however the fence surrounding it kept you far from the building. When we made it to the cemetery, the gates were locked and we could only sit on the steps and look in. Our guide was very informative about all the locations and my husband and I really enjoyed learning the history and seeing the sites. But if I could make 1 change it would be to get with the city of Corpus Christi and get access to at least 1 of the houses for the tour and a key for the cemetery. I can understand the old courthouse not being accessible, but the cemetery was a huge let down. That is what I was most excited about. I will book other tours to compare in the future. read more

If you just want to know some San Antonio history then this is the tour for you. But if you want to be In a position to have a paranormal experience this is not. You don't go into any of the haunted buildings just stand outside while being given a history lesson. Comes off very gimmicky, I guess for tourist. They allow way too many people per ghost tour. Although I didn't get an exact count, there had to have been 50 people on our tour. With all of the other activities going on in downtown San Antonio, it was extremely difficult to travel from location to location and to hear the stories. From what I could hear, I think this might have been amazing if they limited the group to 15-20 people. read more

They started on time, took us around San Antonio and ended on time! This was more like having your old uncle tell you low cost ghost stories that didn't make sense. At one point we were told that Teddy Roosevelt's ghost is seen at a hotel "recruiting for the rough riders." Come on...that's all you got? Anyway, if you want to walk around SA with a beer then jump in, otherwise, don't expect anything else. They did a good job. Jimmy was very nice but had awkward jokes at times. I'd say definitely don't expect to be scared by anything you'll see. It's more about trying to creep you out with stories than anything. Be prepared to walk a lot. We went in June and it was abnormally hot for this time of year. It's not something that I was personally interested in and wouldn't do it again but that's not necessarily RJA's fault. A lot of other people seemed to really be into it. The ghost tour material was largely cookie cutter from other San Antonio ghost tours. Nothing unique at all. I've been on better in the past. The tour guide's delivery was rushed and mechanical. He was often hard to understand. Several people left the tour before it was over. I love San Antonio and encourage everyone to visit. read more

I really enjoyed this walking tour, our narrator, David, seemed to be very knowledgeable of the history of the city, the stories he told were very interesting. I can't wait to come back to San Antonio and check out those haunted places. I had a great time on this ghost-walking tour. I had once lived in San Antonio for 10 years and went back this past weekend to share my old stomping grounds with my fiancé. It was a two-hour experience in which we walked from one end of San Antonio to the other (wear your walking shoes) and learned the ghost history and history of the city at various historic landmarks, including local historic hotels, the Alamo, and the Governor's Palace. This was storytelling at its best, and I was surprised at how much history I learned about the city along the way. I loved learning more about the city along with the hauntings that continue to this day from our guide David, who was well-versed in the city history and the paranormal experiences reported by local businesses. Whether you believe in the paranormal or not, this was a fun and entirely different side of San Antonio I had never experienced before. I learned a lot and had fun as well.
