Sisters Grimm is a fun shop to visit if you're visiting Downtown and are looking for some Gothic literature and some unique finds. We found some amazing perfume, a Journal, a spooky puzzle, and a couple books. The store has a sitting parlor which is so lovely and spooky. I was hoping for a few more Oddities. They had some beautiful pinned insects but was hoping for more GRIMM oddities. They also give Ghost Tours, which we didn't have a chance to attend.

If it weren't for our tour guide Graveyard Greg, the Sisters Grimm Ghost Tours would be less than 5 stars. I listened to other tour guides during our San Antonio visit... their speeches just weren't as energetic, fluid, or knowledgeable. The other garrulous tour guides added unnecessary filler information and had long pauses... and walked kind of slow. Donned in black cowboy hat and boots, Graveyard Greg exited out of the Sisters Grimm shop where paranormal fanatics awaited with assigned bracelets. We walked several blocks, learning about ghost sightings, historical insights, horror stories, and the last hanging in Texas. My daughters were 10 and 11 at the time. While the subject matter was grim and gory, Greg explained the past exceedingly well and in large part refrained from derogatory language. I booked our Haunted History Walk as part of a package for staying at the nearby Menger Hotel. Our tour was Sunday, May 25, 2025 at 8:30 pm - 10:00 pm. If memory serves, I could not sign us up for the much longer bus tour because drinks were served and my underage children were in tow. TIPS + wear comfortable walking shoes + if warm-to-hot weather is in the forecast, bring water and wear clothing that will help keep you cool. Even at night in May Texas can be hot... plus a young woman in our group passed out & slammed her head on the concrete. Greg called 911 and I rushed for help, but I was told she and her young boyfriend denied medical care. + tip your tour guide... they accept hard cash or app cash

Named one of the TOP 3 GHOST TOURS IN THE COUNTRY BY USA TODAY, Sisters Grimm offers an unforgettable Haunted Ghost Bus Tour and Oddities Parlor! The bus tour takes you on a ghostly adventure like no other. With Sisters Grimm, get inside access to spots like the Menger Hotel and a Cemetery, where your guide will talk about the location's history and haunts! There's so many cool stories that I never knew about! The Ghost Bus has both family friendly and adult options, so choose your adventure wisely! There's also a walking tour if you're not wanting to take the Bus tour, but I recommend the bus tour so you can cover more ground! Before starting your tour, make sure to check out the cool gift shop, dubbed the Oddities Parlor for some hard to find merch in town! They have a cool book collection and a bunch of Harry Potter items too! Look up at their framed portrait for a spooky surprise! Ghost Tours are just one of the many fun ways to explore the city, and I love being able to do so while also learning about our beautiful city's past! I've been to three, one in Savannah GA and the other two have been in town with Sisters Grimm. I have to say this bus tour was my favorite out of the three!

This is one of the consistent places or things we do in San Antonio. We have been on every version of their tours, walking, bus, graveyard. We went to the shop in its first location and now it has a spot right in the Menger where it's tours start. They pack quite a bit into the space, and have a wide variety of displays and items for sale from Harry Potter stuff(boo) to books on lady poisioners and places to visit with a dark history as well as a let's summon demons coloring book! They have fun signs and stickers. Cool artwork and knickknacks as well as pursers Shana loved. One that is shaped and looks like a hearse and another with a clock that works as part of it! SHANA SAYS: I want to live here, not buy the stuff and decorate my home, but just live here. They had a cool handmade doll and so much other stuff as well as the tours. I suggest giving this place a look and helping them out. Take a tour if you haven't its a good time.

My 10 year old and I went on this guided walking ghost tour through historic downtown San Antonio. Our guide Laura Pompa was engaging, entertaining, and wildly hilarious. We absolutely loved the experience!

We have done the bus ghost tour and we were not disappointed. Today we decided to take our daughter to the store and she was beyond excited to see everything. She found a new book to read and was overwhelmed with excitement.

My granddaughter wanted to stay at the Menger and go on a ghost tour for her birthday. She read a book about hauntings in San Antonio. Ghostess Haley was fabulous! She was very knowledgeable about the sites we stopped at on our walking tour which took almost 2 hours. I also appreciated her kindness in answering Adi's question along with asking her some as well. I would highly recommend Sisters Grimm!

Loved this ghost tour. Lady Lex led us and she dressed and acted the part. She is totally into the whole "spooky" genre. I really enjoyed her voice, her entirely genre appropriate dress and her knowledge of the old school San Antonio history. She did an excellent job. I have been to San Antonio three prior times and this tour showed me a part that I had never experienced. There is so much history and drama associated with this city. The old hotels are phenomenal. I really want to stay in one the next time I go. The trip to the cemetery was eerie. There was lightning and thunder in the distance. It was nice being chauffeured around the area.

The sister Grimm ghost tour was COOL!! The tour guide puts on a OK show! Would I do it again definitely NOT!!!

I came across this store after walking around from The Alamo. I loved all the Harry Potter items in the store and the cool little pieces throughout. It was small, but everything was so interesting to look at. If I had been in town longer, I would have loved to do one of their ghost tours. Next time!

The bus tour was awesome and cemetery was the cherry on top! The bus had air-conditioning and a screen to immerse you into the full story line. We did the walking to her last year and that was also fun but this one gave a different perspective and new stories to tell to our friends later. Make sure to bring your water!

Despite being a popular destination, it never felt overwhelming, and there were plenty of spots to slow down and relax. The River Walk is absolutely worth visiting and is one of the best attractions in San Antonio. It's easy to walk, the tour boats are novel, rental bikes are everywhere, there are tons of places to eat and shop, and you can even carry open containers of alcohol along the River level. Art museums, hotels, the courthouse, and more can be accessed from the River, so it's easily a huge part of the heart of downtown. The city keeps doing more and more to make the space memorable, so permanent art installations, parks, and other similar features keep getting added as time goes on.
