Celeste was amazing! My husband and I were visiting from Austin and wondered into the shop. We were welcomed by Celeste who was just lovely from the start. She told us about the services they offered and the ghost tour than evening. Truly because of her we didn't hesitate. This was the most interesting ghost walk tour! We learned a great deal about several of the paranormal activities happening inside buildings around the Old San Antonio area. Our tour guide Laura Tomorrow, is extremely knowledgeable about the history of every building she took us to. She's quite animated and a gifted storyteller and she captures and holds your attention. Laura's assistant, Logan, shared several of his personal experiences with paranormal events in San Antonio and everyone in our group enjoyed hearing about them. On Halloween Eve took the family out for a night of paranormal activity. It was nice to get outside and go through downtown. The stories were entertaining and based on historical pieces of history. The most fascinating piece was around the Alamo. Having lived in SA my whole life I had never noticed that in the middle of the road a marker for where many Alamo soldiers were buried. Our tour guide was Laura Tomorrow. The group has been running for 7 years and in process of opening a small boutique store for a storefront. I would say one and done. Booked the dinner and tour for my friends birthday as a fun different kind of birthday celebration. The food was great and the hotel choice was superb, however the tour guide left a lot to be desired. He had started off the tour talking about the different type of phenomenom which was cool till he attributed the secondary type to people and made specific mention of it being tied to unbalanced hormones and sometimes even chemical imbalances from drug use. He specificed multiple stories about women and their disbalance causing such phenomenom, which sounds far to close to misoganist views that created such things as womans histeria. Later on he talked about how these phenomenon are fairly harmless besides causing scratches and burns, without the mention of psychological trauma and wether or not these phenomenom are true. HE SHOULD NOT HAVE STATED THE PEOPLE WHO COMMITED SUICIDE OVER THEM WERE IDIOTS. Followed by his supposedly funny story about a woman sold into marriage that ended up killing herself with sleeping pills. It was wrong and truly ruined the tour for us before it even truly began. read more

It was my best friend Marlen's birthday and we started the night ruining any chances for a romantic engagement for the couples next to us at dinner with our obnoxious laughing and untimely responses to all things BUT we were not done yet --our last stop for the night was this Haunted Pub Crawl. You know what! I'll start by giving this 5 stars! Jules was our guide and I just have to hand it to him for tolerating my friends and I for displaying the opposite reaction to whatever reaction he was trying to manufacture via his story telling. No one welcomes a ghost touching up our leg at Moses Roses more than us - I guess. So you begin the tour with a welcome from Jules, rules and regulations and finally initiate a ritual by looking up at the moon and welcoming all spirits by howling at the moon really loud. You want to do it so loud that people passing by turn and possibly wonder if you are okay. We went to 5 bars total- there were drink specials at each bar which was nice. My favorite perk was vip entrance access to Pat O'Brien bar. We will walk to the ends of the earth for a good buffet, Peter Piper Pizza, Pluckers (just to name a few) -but avoiding half a block to the main entrance... well were LIVING. Look in all honesty - If you're trying to enjoy a drunk night out - this may not be for you because I can see how standing outside bars listening to a 20 min haunted story could be a buzz kill. Now, if you're genuinely interested in history and spooky stories - then this would be great. Stories were pretty interesting and surprisingly I remember all of them - someone quiz me now. I wouldn't say this is a SCARY experience overall so keep that in mind. If you want to get scared just order an Uber XL right afterwards - prices are ridiculous and you may get our driver who drove the most reckless. read more

VERY DISAPPOINTED. We've taken several tours from other companies in the past. Sadly this was by far the worst. We even splurged for the dinner tour. Barely got more than 100 feet away from the Alamo. While the guide was a nice guy he wasn't a great tour guide. He knew most of the legends but he had a bad habit of droning on. We could have seen so much more if he'd kept the stories on point. Other tours take you to the Governor's palace and the old Bexar County jail plus the San Fernando Cathedral by Governor's palace but that was "too far" for Bad Wolf. Can't recommend and won't be using them again. read more

To celebrate my best friend's birthday, we decided to take the Haunted Dinner tour, with Bad Wolf Ghost tours. I honestly have to say I do not recommend this tour and please spend your money elsewhere. As our evening started, the mood with the lights off in the dining area started our spooky tour with excitement, but that soon changed the moment we were instructed to sit and begin our dinner. It was dark but that's it just dark. Our host, which he named himself "bear", just instructed us to start eating. As he began to give his spiel of the tour, he began to tell stories which at first were interesting and fun. As time continued to pass on the stories became jumbled, our host was out of breath from constantly moving back and forth and burped at least three times this felt unprofessional. As our dinner continued our host continued with stories about the hotel, he began to talk about "scientific reasons" phenomenon happening which he attributed to unbalanced hormones and chemical imbalances from drug use, more specifically he mentioned estrogen. As in Hysteria is the reason ghost are seen. Then he continued to tell stories and mentions phenomenon that have physical manifestations, he mentions that these are harmless besides causing scratches. Our host made a comment about victims of these phenomena were "Stupid" for committing suicide. Regardless of if these are true or not, dismissing and disrespecting suicide victims is rude, unprofessional, and dismissive. His condescending tone really ruined the tour for me, and I no longer wanted to continue, but because it was my friend's birthday gift, we did. We made it as far little bit after the Alamo area, through this time outside it was difficult to hear him, and he only seemed to focus on the people right in front of him. At one point during the tour, he seemed tipsy and continued to burped and then admitted that he was still hungover from the previous night. I looked at my friends, and I walked away, it was so unprofessional. The price point of this dinner tour was not worth it, while the food was okay, the 260+ we paid for was NOT WORTH IT. read more

One of the highlights of our recent vacation to San Antonio was this ghost tour. It lasted about 2 hours and took us to some of the most haunted places in San Antonio (well the ones that were within walking distance of each other.) Now I have to preface this by saying that I personally cannot sense or have experienced anything supernatural like seeing apparitions or anything of the sort. However that doesn't mean that I can't appreciate people that can and listening to the accounts of what happened at the sites during our tour was super fascinating to me. A couple of the sites were the Majestic Theatre and the Emily Morgan Hotel which was one of the most haunted building's in the country if not the world. Our tour guide Laura was one of the best storytellers I've ever heard and really was super awesome. This was a great experience for me and a great way to learn some history in San Antonio as well as checking out some spooky sites. read more

The pub crawl ghost tour was a complete joke. Basically the guide told a couple stories and walked us to the bars of which 2 of them were already closed. There was nothing paranormal about this tour. We could've walked to the bars ourselves and saved $30 each. read more

SPEND YOUR MONEY AND TIME ELSEWHERE, THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM!!! Absolutely the worst tour my friends and I have ever done. It's sad to say the most interesting part of the tour was when the guide introduced himself and mentioned he was mexican/indian. It quickly went downhill from there. He started the tour by taking us behind an old building and within 10 minutes of starting the tour he contradicted himself by stating different dates of when the building was built (even though it CLEARLY had the date engraved on the building for us to see). His stories were less than exciting and were just small facts here and there. a 4 year old could have told a story better than this guy! He lost his train of thought A LOT, pausing and even repeating the exact same thing he had just mentioned as if he hadn't just said it. It was bizarre!! My group of 5 girls just kept looking at each other in disbelief that we had actually paid money to suffer through this AWFUL tour. It started to feel like it was a complete SCAM! There were 2 other girls on the tour with us and they too, looked just as unimpressed. They at one point even started to make a joke of it; going as far as taking turns taking pictures of each other yawning as he bullshitted through more "scary history." Hey, at least they were trying to make the best of the situation. Our only hope were the bar hoping part of the tour and just our luck that too was terrible. Each bar we went to was not only dead, but we were also never given instruction (or tips) on drink specials. Our tour guide would bring us into each bar then go sit by himself in the back somewhere away from us. I swear the night went from bad to worse. Given I was the one who had picked this tour for our group, I was so embarrassed. I wasted hours of our Austin girls trip on this "tour"! We ended the tour early, we couldn't bear to go any further, tipped our guide (our of respect not because he deserved it) and left. I am spending the time to write this review in hopes no one else has to go through this painful experience and waste your money! read more

Wow, definitely enjoyed the stories and learning about the haunting history of San Antonio's downtown area surrounding the Alamo. When I tell you I got goosebumps hearing about the Emily Morgan Hotel! If you're staying there, best of luck to you! Haha you start off the tour at the shop where you're able to shop before the tour and I'll tell ya, there's so many neat things to use on a day to day&& Jules, he was such an entertaining tour guide! The group I was in didn't seem like they were going to be too interactive, but Jules had the entire group howling at the beginning, literally! Lol he definitely knew his stuff while making a group want to participate. The walk is around 1mile, but the tour wasn't short of tales for it did last around 1.5 hours. The cheapest, and attentive way of knowing the gory details of a historic city is through a tour. We managed to snag a great deal from Livingsocial. Our tour guide and her partner walked us through around The Alamo grounds and told us stories about the creepy and unexplainable things that had happen here many,many years ago. She was very knowledgeable and informative. We learned about the creepy and gruesome details of the old hotels and building around the area. It was hot and muggy but everything is all worth it. There are other ghost tour companies Taft are doing tours for tourist but this one is highly recommended. read more

Our "jay-walking" tour guide and her "Starbucks spilling" assistant were great! She creepily told us confirmed stories of hauntings at each building on the tour, she was very informative. He played scary music and walked ahead of the group to mark the next stop on the tour. We had a nice size group, but she wears a speaker box to amplify her voice so that everyone can hear her clearly. Near the start of the tour her assistant clumsily spilled a Starbucks frappe all over the steps of the Post Office. Our tour guide wondered aloud if perhaps a ghost was to blame. I quickly scanned the area with an EMF detector (which they provide!) and confirmed that no ghosts were present. Along the tour you will pass through some known "hot spots" for paranormal activity. My friend and I were actually photographed with a dark orb in front of us at one location. I personally believe the ghost was attracted to me for my fun loving nature, and reputation for having a good time. Solo business traveler always looking for groups to do things safely. Wolf the tour guide had a contagious enjoyment of the content. The group ran from 4 year old to about 60. All were entertained. It also provided a great little archetecture tour as well. I didn't do the pub crawl, but I think this would really be fun, too.
