This was an outstanding experience. Jessica and AJ were the " BEST HOSTS" and made the whole trip fun. We stopped at 3 different bars and since we didn't want to walk up 4 flights of stairs to the Paramour, they contacted them and had them open up so we could ride the elevator (average age was 67). We went by our high school and Jessica even took us onto the property for a drive by. AJ was great in making sure we all had full drinks and kept us engaged with the "drinking games" Highly recommend this adventure. An amazing way to burn calories while eating, drinking, and getting different views of downtown! We had so much fun with our friends and loved that we were able to play our own music, bring our own beer/wine (in plastic cups) & snacks, and make pit stops for ice cream and drinks along the route. Our gracious CycloSocial hosts Rafa & Juan were excellent navigators and took us to some of the best bars in town. Tip: For those that prefer to be pampered, there are seats toward the back of the party bike that do not have pedals, so you can relax and let the others do the work for you. read more

They canceled on me 10 minutes before our scheduled 9pm ride for 15 people - most were here FROM OUT OF STATE for my son's graduation celebration. It was on their books for a month. Although the girl who called me was pleasant, all they offered was a refund (which was expected)- but no suggestion to reschedule at a discount or some sort of deal to make up for not having anyone to drive the trolley. The absolute best thing I did while in San Antonio! We felt like rockstars for the night! A group of friends booked the bike and it took us on a boozy tour around downtown San Antonio. (It's like a tour bus but with an open cabin and pedals, booze, your choice of music and tons of laughs! This is a great and affordable idea for an evening activity with friends, family or colleagues. The owner and driver, Juan Leon, was super attentive and knowledgable of San Antonio hotspots. We were taken to three stops: Juniper Tar, The Last Word and Ocho at Hotel Havana - each super unique and serving amazing cocktails. Juan made sure we were taken care of at each stop with preferential treatment and discounts on drinks! (FYI the discounts almost paid for the CycloSocial fare). This is not a difficult bike ride and is doable by absolutely anybody, we barely felt like we were pedaling. The bike has a motor if everyone decides they just want to drink sans the pedaling and I believe there are a few non-pedal seats in the back. There is nothing funny about riding a bike drunk. I find no humor in drunk people hootin', hollerin', and generally making asses of themselves in full view of passersby. Except... when partying on the CycloFiesta bike! A few pro tips: don't stick your butt out into traffic for risk of getting it slapped or worse, refrain from removing your clothes either because you've pedaled up a sweat or have imbibed a bit too much, and wear shoes! The last one is really important. You don't wanna loose a chancla in the middle of Broadway. Rafa and Juan, the owners of this gorgeous bike, are stand up guys. I am so glad that they finally brought such an attraction to SA. It's about time. More pro tips: hydrate before and during your ride, don't stand up while the bike is in motion, pedal hard when Rafa says to, and look for nice discounts at the bar stops. Again, the last one is really important. Did I mention how beautiful this bike is? It's not like the old shit-cans I saw in Austin years ago. So take your kids, take your wife, and take your husband cuz there's a party up in here. Okay, maybe notcho kids. But take your girlfriends and take yer drnikin' buddiez. So. Much. Fun. If you are looking to try something different and entertaining in San Antonio, I highly suggest CycloSocial! The on-line booking process was very organized and easy to book. You can choose a 'social mixer' (if you want to go alone or with a few friends), or book a private party. My friend wanted to have her Bachelorette party but only had 6 people, so we opted for the social mixer. The price is $35 per person for the social mixer (subject to change at anytime). You pay half when you book on-line and the other half on the day of your tour. There are different routes on certain days of the week. We went on a Saturday and got The Pearl route, consisting of: Stay Golden Social House, Burleson Yard Beer Garden, and La Gloria. You can bring your own alcohol, just as long as it is not hard liquor or in a glass container. They do provide an ice chest and have hooks on the cart to hang your belongings. You can also bring your own music playlist or they can provide a variety of music, complete with fun colored changing lights (for night time)! Now I would suggest to wear something more on the casual/comfort side for your attire. You are pedaling and in this Texas heat and humidity, you will work up a small sweat! So much fun pedaling around the Pearl area, and on Broadway Street! You see San Antonio at night, while drinking, playing games, listening to music, and pedaling all at once! Whoo!! The hosts were super friendly and awesome! They made sure we were entertained at all times and that we received our special promotions at the different bars. We got to enjoy each place for about 30 to 45 minutes or so, and we did not feel rushed. Even better was if we did not finish our drinks, we could take them back on the bike with us! Our last stop was back to Stay Golden Social House where the 2 hour tour ended. *tear* I had such an amazing experience and would like to thank everyone at CycloSocial and the bars mentioned for taking care of us and for the great service! AWESOME FUN TIME!!!!! I rented the entire cycle for a group of 15 to celebrate my finances 30th birthday. The crew of 3 on the cycle were SO AWESOME! As soon as we arrived, they took the lead in every way, allowing me to completely enjoy the whole experience! They had great hospitality & were so attentive to our group the entire time. The night we booked ended up being 1 of the coldest evenings this yr, but CycloSocial even had plenty of BLANKETS for us that were a little colder at 1st. But of course, cycling warmed us up quickly, so it ended up being the most perfect weather for the occasion. Every single person in our group had a FANTASTIC time! We really enjoyed riding around downtown in our home city that we love! On the cycle, they have cool, colorful lights, Bluetooth audio system so you can play your own music, they even had chargers & outlets so conveniently on the cycle so you never have to miss a second of music or lose battery over taking videos/photos. I couldn't have asked for a better experience for the special occasion! It was the PERFECT PARTY for us, some family, & friends. Recommendations for LARGE groups: -Bringing a quarter keg is worth it! -Communicate w/ the CycloSocial crew & bar workers about the specials that you are supposed to get (our 2 stops didn't seem to know what specials we were talking about & I'm pretty sure none of us were given a discount at either bar which was Viva Tacoland & The Last Word). -Do not order food (appetizers like chips/dip should be ok) anywhere, it takes too long & cuts into your cycle time if you're not ready to leave. I've done more of these crawler rides than I can count at this point. CycloSocial was one of the best experiences I've had. The bike is new and makes for an easy peddling experience, which I know is a concern for first-timers. I am not sure, but it feels like there is an electric assist which lets you enjoy the experience without having to break into a sweat. I also really enjoyed that the ride comes with specials at the various places we stopped at, including specials on drinks and food. This was a nice touch! All the other bikes I've been on have been smaller and didn't have music. We were able to control our own tunes for the duration of the ride and have the back bench was big enough for whoever wanted to take a little break from all the 'exercise'. All in all a great experience, a highly recommended way to experience downtown San Antonio! read more

The best of fun!!! I organized this event for a group of 8 friends/family and we had a blast. The bars selection for stops were all great. Sam, the tour guide did an outstanding job with entertaining us all. She was laid back which made for an even better relaxing fun evening. The only issue I had is the seat because I am 5'1" and event with the seat at the lowest level, I still had to extend my legs to pedal. Need to be at least 5'4" to ride comfortably. Amazing! I rented the Cyclo Fiesta for the Downtown tour for a group of friends for my husband's 30th birthday. We had dinner at Guillermo's, the pick up spot before, and it was perfect. They arrived promptly on time and we were ready to go after verifying the waiver had been signed by everyone. The spots they choose for us to go were so much fun, but the best part was the bike ride! We rented the entire bike for my bday and it was fun however, compared to its competitors (Local Crawler) it was overpriced and not as organized. We were charged extra to meet in the location of our tour, 2/3 bars we had planned on going to were closed and the driver had a hard time thinking of other spots & halfway through our tour the battery died and we were basically stopped in the middle of Broadway while they replaced it. Regardless, we had a good time and the driver & bartender were very nice but if you are considering renting out a bike, I wouldn't recommend them. read more

A group of us rented the private bike tour for Sunday Funday to celebrate birthdays and a graduation. Prior to the tour, the company was very responsive via email. We originally wanted to do the tour on Saturday night, but a limited amount of seats were available. After letting know we were interested in a private tour on Sunday, they made a whole new private tour reservation available on their website! The morning of the trip, Rafa called to coordinate the stops all while taking our preferences into consideration. We did the 2 hour tour to Alamo Beer Co, Alamo IceHouse, and then did a loop around downtown/Travis Park. Our driver, Jacob, dressed as Santa and was super fun! Our bartender Paco was great and kept our drinks full the entire time. We had so much fun that one of our friends ended up adding an additional hour to our groups' tour! I booked 10 of us on the downtown mixer tour for my best friend's bachelor party and from the beginning they were very communicative through email. Any and EVERY question I asked they provided an answer or solution for. Come the day of the tour and start off at Havana and the excitement was palpable. We even had our own blow up doll handcuffed to the bike (she was attached to the bachelor)...haha. The guys were great sports and great hosts and we had the best time we've all had in quite a while. All the people honking at us, playing games on the bike, playing our favorite music and drinking some great Alamo Oktoberfest beer was the order of the night and it made for lasting memories. We celebrated my birthday this weekend with CycloFiesta. It was so much fun!!! I wanted to try something fun and new.. this is definitely it!! It's BYOB (cans only) you have control of the music on board, stop at different bars. We weren't satisfied with the service at the first stop so we jumped back on to go to another bar.
