We were told no, in case a large party came in later. The restaurant was far from full, so this felt like poor judgment more than policy. These were topped with a crunchy strip of bacon and served with a pile of pickled jalapeno slices. The were super delicious! On our member's recommendation, I tried the orange chicken served with fried rice for my entree, as did two others. I was overwhelmed with the gobs of food the server sat in front of me. There were at least twenty bite-sized nuggets of chicken sitting on top of a bed of fried rice. That bed was obviously a California King! They were lightly covered in the orange sauce, but still crunchy. It was a very satisfying meal. I had the other half for supper, and it was almost as delicious heated up in the microwave. One of our people had a pepperoni pizza. It was probably about 18". The crust was amazingly thin. It just looked awesome to me. My friend enjoyed it, but carried a lot home with her. The fifth person in our group had the Reuben sandwich. She said it was delicious, but was put off by the amount of fat on the meat. Encore makes their own pastrami. The chef explained to her that the fat on the pastrami was what most people thought made it such a delicious meat. I know it looked great to me. I'm guessing a change in management and/or kitchen staff is trying to cut costs. They used to be very proud of their "scratch-made kitchen" but now ShinDig seems to just want to promote themselves as a bar with girls in skimpy outfits. He took the time to explain the bar's theme and share a bit about the place, which added a nice personal touch. Our favorites always include Destiny, Christian, and Angel (and of course a special shoutout to DJ AU!) We have a blast coming by whether it's for happy hour after work or a night full of dancing.
